Blaze caught up slowly and watched as Roarke asked if the mare and her foal needed any more time to pack, she shook her head and they all started walking towards Blaze and Night Comb. "Do we have enough food supplies Night Comb? I hadn't even thought to ask before we left" Blaze didn't really notice his growling stomach because he was fighting gods raiders, the intensity probably took his mind off it.

Roarke scanned his inventory a final time, and was pleased as he hadn't forgotten anything. Trotting into the building, he went to go get Aura and her kid. As he found them in the same room he had left them in, a gentle smile appeared on his muzzle again. Nobody could see it this time tough, since he was still wearing his helmet.

 

As they all walked out of the building, he overheared Blaze complain about hunger. Taking a quick look through his inventory, he got a box of snack cakes he found earlier. "Here, have this." He said as he handed it to Blaze.

Blaze looked at the snack cakes, contemplated if he should take them or not for a while, and then put his helmet into his Rig and took it from Roarkes hoof, "Thanks man I appreciate it" Blaze continued walking along the road waiting to see something, he was incredibly bored, but it was better to be bored than to being chased or shot at by raiders and crawlers. Blaze hadn't seen any crawlers yet surprisingly, knock on wood he didn't really want to either. They were disgusting and didn't follow the laws of killing things, you shoot the head they die, instead you had to shoot the limbs which Blaze found quite fascinating in fact.

Night Comb trotted ahead. 'Yeah, we have-' he was cut off mid sentence by a realization 'Shit. We have enough food for another day, but only for three. That means that we don't have much since we have the foal and mare.' He sighed. He continues to trot on, but carefully scanned the buildings for any that might hold food.

Aura followed the group with her foal to the left. She stayed quiet and followed close to Roarke.

"That avoids the question I asked though, how much do we have and how long will it last?" Blaze asked once more while keeping his eyes forward on the torn apart road to look for anything conspicuous that could jump out and attack all of them,

Blaze hadn't seen anything yet, but that didn't mean there want anything there.

Roarke looked around and checked his inventory one more time just to be sure. As he made his helmet collapse back into his RIG, he felt like this was the more social form of communicating. "I have 2 bottles of water left, and a pack of dry crackers. Not exactly something to call dinner but enough for surviving today."  He looked to his left and made eye contact with Aura. "Is your kid a heavy eater?" He smirked.

Night Comb sighed again. 'We have some canned food that is fairly good along with a few water bottles. That's it. We might last until tomorrow afternoon, maybe the next day if we ration carefully.' He said, hoping his calculations were right.

Aura looks up. 'Him? No, not really...he usually splits what I find.' She said quietly.

@@Delernil, Roarke thought about what Night just said. This meant scavenging is probably top priority right now, and everything they had had te be shared and rationed carefully. A pony can last to up to two days without water tough, and around 5 days without food. but starvation is not a pleasant way to go. 

 

The tone of Aura's voice was heartbreaking. All silent and depleted of hope. He nudged her slightly, causing for her to look at him. He Smiled warmly as he looked back. "C'mon, it isn't so bad. We still got eachother and all. i'm sure we'll figure something out."

Night Comb sighed as he walked. He checked in his bag again to make sure everything was there and I holstered his rifle. It was fairly short. He entered a small building and began ripping it apart.

Aura smiled up. 'Yeah, I guess I do. It's thanks to you three that I'm not dead...or worse.' She said with a sigh. She looked to her colt then back at Roarke. 'Thanks for everything.'

Blaze walked into the other building across the street and began rummaging through the rubble and small drawers. He didn't find much but ammo and some credits people had left over. He would check the kitchen next but he was afraid of what he might find, nothing. He walked into the kitchen and started going through the cabinets and the fridge, he wished he hadn't gone through the fridge. He hoped the others had fared better then he did.

Night Comb rummaged though the bedrooms first. Personal items like weapons were likely to be found there. He checked the first one but nothing came up. The second yielded only a small paper book. He sighed as he walked down to the kitchen and found Blaze. 'Nothing.' He said flatly as he tossed the book aside.

Aura sat outside, watching them go through the house.

Blaze frowned and looked through the last cupboard, it contained a can of beans, what luck! Blaze grabbed it and handed it to Night Comb, they hadn't found a lot but it might hold them over for a little bit longer. He was lucky not to run into anything in here as well.

Night Conb looked over the can. It didn't seem messed up or broken, so that was good. He slipped it into his bags for later. He walked into the nearby bathroom and looted it. There was a bottle of painkillers! He smiled at his luck and slipped them in with the beans. Walking out, he checked over the house once more. 'I guess that's everything.'

As his other comapnions went to scavenge through the building, Roarke opted to stay outside. If anything would come for Aura and her kid, atleast he could protect them this time.

Fiddling with his self-made holster, he tried to spark up a conversation. Sitting there doing nothing wasn't the most eventfull of things.

"If i may ask, Did you live here your intire life?"

Aura looked at Roarke. 'Uhm, yeah. My family owned a house here before the war. It's probably burned to ash by now...not that it matters. Wouldn't do much good.' She replied as she fiddled with a piece of rubble. 'Didn't move much before he was born though. It became harder to stay hidden after that.'

Blazes ear perked up, he thought he had heard something coming from the upstairs, he pulled up the minimal on his Rig, nothing. He pulled out his sniper all the same. Blazes sniper unfolded from his back and flipped the integrated scopes for the red dot sight, he walked towards the stairs and held his gun up with levitation magic, Night Comb looked at him confusedly.
