First fan art - Any good?

This is my first and only fan art - is it any good? Should I make more fan art?

Keep practicing.

 

I would recommend studying proportions, also you might want to draw with a pen & tablet instead of a mouse.

Yeah, I agree with you about the proportions. I think I need to improve the neck and head. I think I also made the ears too big. Next time, I'll try to add more details too.

 

And by the way, once I did try using a tablet and pen (they belonged to my sister), but my hand seemed mega-shaky and what was meant to be a square looked like what I'd draw using my right hand and with my eyes closed.

Not bad for a start.  For a first ever, it's pretty darn good.  Keep up the practice and I know it'll get even better.

Some drawing apps have tools that make it so you can draw lines by clicking parts of the screen, like line layers in SAI and the curves tool in GIMP. I use them, like for my profile picture.

UPDATE: The next one I will be drawing is Discord, due to his humanoid shape. This time, I will frequently post updates, and post pictures every time I complete a part of him, so that your C&C
will aid me. Discord will also have more time spent on him, Derpy was created as a test run for the draw thing on my laptop, and I decided to post her.
