Where is that "boldness" Meghan spoke of?

Although I think Meghan is a great lady and really good writer, I also think she can be a bit of a troll too. Not a bad thing and it helps if you don't take all her tweets to heart. This is not to say she is being dishonest. I think she believes what she is saying, but she's not the only decision maker as we saw with Flash.

I don't know if this is the right topic to bring this up, but this tease in particular has been bugging me for a while

 

 

If Rainbow Falls is some sort of indication of this, then that doesn't give me much hope

Maybe she means Rainbow and Soarin' will get together in a later episode.

Simple Ways was taking a huge risk; pitting friend against friend over a douchey stallion in a love triangle sort of thing, having them play the role of each other, and leaving it all up to a new writer to pull it off. That alone is enough risk to make me anticipate Mare Do Well levels of hate.

 

Also, gave up the elements of harmony, brought Discord back, made FS a bat temporarily after all 5 of her friends were against her, etc. 

 

I think it's pretty bold.

 

And furthermore, we're still only halfway through the ride   Who knows what else is in store?

I think it was much adui about nothing,

and people made relationship centered episodes the boogie man cause of ancient history.

 

What was at risk? a bad episode.

 

Now regardless of wether you felt it was bad or not

MLP is still mlp.

 

Even if i said simple ways was terrible ( i disagree with digi being quip about it being a 0), it's not bringing down the show. 

the shows fine.

I'm  not sure if the shows been bold but I've liked it.  Well i'm not sure if season 4 has been any more bold than previous.

It all depends entirely on the episodes and how they seem to flow and go with the individual story-lines and occasional season themes.

 

The term, "Bold", is only apparent if the episodes show it and if you take a closer look at them.
