The thing got closer to Aaron. It was sniffing him.

"Tellll me. Do you have, Hmmm, Children."
Oh sweet Celestia, why did I get chosen by the yellow one.

"Uh, n-no."
"Mmm, howww, unfortunate."
The thing left without a word and Aaron got a good view of its back. And he wished he didn't. In its cage like back, with a small cluster of writhing children in its back. He didn't know where his urine was going, but he hoped it didn't overflow anytime soon. He flew off in the opposite direction to go find someone to tell him what to do. And soon enough, he did. Almost running into him, Aaron was now face to face with some kind of hermit crab.

"Watch it. Oh, you must be the fresh meat. Here. I was ordered to give you this. IT's your own power battery. And meat, watch your back. HAHAHA!"
The hermit crab flew off.

"Well, meeting all kinds of interesting people today. SO, since I have a battery for the ring, might as well set off back to Equestria."

Optyx landed back on the world he was born on. He wondered if this ring could really so everything and teach him everything on its own. Then again, Optyx had hope that it did and that's why he as apart of The Blue Lanterns anyway. He wondered where he had been transported. Optyx looked around and noticed a sign that read Ponyville, I guess here would be as good as a place to start.

When sole opened his eyes again he found himself standing in the middle of ponyville, or at least what was left of it. Most of the citizens have long since evacuated, leaving nothing but ruined buildings and the man hunters. With a smirk he strapped his staff to his back and held his fist up with wich his ring glowed faintly "time to save life as we know it..." He mumbled

Aaron was flying through space back to his home, a smile on his face and carrying his power battery. He would be there shortly but he was hoping that there was something left to save. IT was quite a distance so he was going to have to get there fast. Using his ring, he created a worm hole to get him closer to Equiss(19).

A small group of manhunters were detecting emotion in the wreckage of ponyville.

"Emotion detected. Eliminate. Eliminate."
The group of five manhunters flew off to meet the group.

((Crap! I'm really behind...I'll just have it that Crimson trained a bit and was sent to ponyville to exterminate the manhunter insects!))

 

Crimson gave a respectful bow to Atrocitas as they finished his first basic training session. "Thank you for teaching me what you know, sir..." he said. Atrocitas sneered but gave a nod anyway. "Well, I couldn't send you into the field without knowing any tricks of the trade, could I? That would be such a waste of talent...anyway, you seemed to be very skilled in constructs, construct corrosion, and your corrosive breath. They are very useful skills, use them well, and slay all who oppose you...you are needed back on your planet, so I must warp you there immediately...fight well..." he said. Crimson gave a nod and closed his eyes, as Atrocitas teleported him back to ponyville. Crimson opened his eyes and smiled as he recognized the familiar surroundings. "Ah, that's better...now, where can I find those alien jerks who are terrorizing everyone?" he muttered.

As the man hunters approached sole's ring suddenly grew brighter as he turned to them. "It's time to get some payback for all the creatures you've killed so heartlessly." He said angrily, before lifting his fist and shooting multiple beams of purple energy at the heartless creatures.

The manhunters saw the members and took their aim. One was struck by the bolts fired from their ring.

"Designation. Indigo tribe. Designation. Red Lantern Corps. Course of action. Eliminate."
The five brought their batons to their targets and took aim. But before so, a large boom of sound erupted from the sky. Descending in a yellow light was the new Sinsetro Corps. member. Ready to take action. He struck the ground with a mighty force and stood to look over the situation. Seeing the man hunters, he focused the rings energies and brought forth a gatling gun.(18) Taking aim, Aaron let loose a torrent of projectiles.

Optyx saw lights from different colors beam down to Ponyville, he wondered how many other Lantern Corps there were. Optyx saw man hunters and began to try and focus his ring power. The ring spoke to him, to concentrate and focus. Optyx stayed calm and began meditating on the ground, soon he started to float in the air. Optyx raised his hoof as a construct of a cutlass began to form (-1) (19)

As it seemed like more allies arrived sole raised his fist and focused to make a large beam and fire at more of the man hunters. He knew the beams used little to no energy, and he didn't want to waste any more then he had to. "Looks like more lanterns are here for the party. Thanks for the help." He said

The manhunters landed to take cover from the torrent of retaliation. One of their ranks had fallen, only leaving four to attack. Using their advanced sensory abilities, they sought out for the new emotions. Since there were four, the remaining manhunters split up and went to attack each one. Aaron saw a manhunter coming for him. It was towering over him but that meant little to him now. The manhunter began to fire with its baton but he dodged each attack.

Crimson smiled as both of the different colored lanterns fought off the manhunters. "Good work, I like your guys style! But stay outta my way, okay?" he said, before using his ring to construct an anvil above the remaining manhunters, then dropping it on them, crushing them flat as pancakes. (-1) (19)

As a lone man hunter came at him he smirked "only one? Foolish machine, you should've sent more. I'll stop you and make sure you don't hurt anyone else." He said, before creating a large train construct and making it plow into him from the side with all the force of a real freight train. (-1)(19)

@, (Sorry dude, can't destroy them all. Not yet at least. One is heading for your character. You can do as you wish with it.)

Aaron was growing bored with this machines slow swipes and blasts from the hulking robot.

"I grow tired of this."
Focusing his rings energy, he drove his fist into the manhunter. Sending it flying in the opposite direction with a massive dent in it. Focusing the energies once more, Aaron brought the goliath up into the air and began to slam it on the ground repeatedly until it fell apart at the seems.

"E--rmin--a-a-a-a-ate."
"You don't say. Well, allow me."
He placed the ring on its head and shattered it with a small blast of energy.

"That was fun."

Crimson laughed her he made the anvil disappear, to see the manhunters squished. "Hahaha! Like ants under a boot! Anyone wanna give me a try? Come on! There's plenty of me to go around!" he said, scanning the area for more enemies.

As he watched the man hunter he was fighting fly into uncountable pieces from the train impact he dessipated the construct and looked around. "We... Can actually do it. We can save everyone from these monsters." He said happily, before waving at the other lanterns "I don't know why you guys are so many different colors, but I'm sure glad you came to help. You... Are here to help save equestria with me right?" He asked to make sure they had the same goal.

Aaron looked to the gryphon, waving at him. A purple one it seems. He didn't know what it meant, but any enemy of these things is automatically bumped up to best friend in his book. Aaron flew over to meet this purple lantern, trailing yellow light as he flew.

sole landed in front of the yellow lantern and grinned "Aaron huh? Nice to meet ya, I'm sole. Nice fighting back there, glad your willing to help. But can I ask... Why are you yellow? I thought lanterns were all purple." He said in confusion. He didn't know about the other emotional spectrums.

"That's odd. I thought they were all yellow... and terrifying."
Aaron gave a shiver at memory of meeting his fellow sinestro corps. members.

"Anyway. It looks like we were wrong about the lantern colors being only one. But regardless. The manhunters stand no chance against us. Hopefully, we can remove them from our home."
Aaron began to look at him through his darkened glasses. They had a shot at taking the planet back and hopefully, they could do it with some life forms still alive here.

"So, what shall we do now"

Sole cracked his neck "simple destroy all of these tin cans and safe as many living creatures as possible. I'd usually say not to kill the man hunters, but since their robots and not really alive I'll let it slide." He said, before floating into the air "so how about we go kick some ass. I'll bring the part to us." He said, before pointing his fist into the air and letting a large purple beam shoot straight into the air, lighting up the night sky in a brilliant indigo flash. "That should get their attention." He said

 

(I'm trying to get him to get the rest of the manhunter's attention. Is this okay?)

Some of the ponies saw this thinking that their Princess Twilight was still alive and fighting to free them. However, the manhunters sensed this energy. Bringing hundreds upon hundreds to their location. They were in for a fight to remember for it could be their first, and maybe last, major battle.

The beam of purple light shot into the sky. Lighting up the dark clouds with a brilliant aura. as the army of manhunter charged toward their location, sole flew high into the air and concentrated with all his might. "Get. Off. My. PLANET!!" He roared as he focused all of his energy into a single giant blast and launched it at the army of manhunters in an attempt to take out as many as possible. (-19)(0)

Sole's efforts were valiant but futile. His attack barely scratched the surface of their ranks. Aaron flew up to join him.

"Well. That happened."

Aaron could feel the fear of the ponies who were close by. Wondering if they were about to die this day. Not if they could stop these machines first. Aaron focused the ring and brought a katana into being plus a wrist blade on his left arm.(16)

"Shall we be off to battle, friend."
His blades began to glow a brilliant yellow as he gave a soft and friendly smile.

Sole was breathing heavily when the attack ended, but cursed when he noticed how little it did. "Yeah... I won't let their murders go unpunished. They need to pay for everyone they've hurt." He said, as he put his ring up to his staff and recited the oath to recharge it. "Now... Let's go." He said, creating blades on his wings, as well as one on his tail and two on his forearms. (-4)(16) with a smirk he charged forward and began to blast slash and stab at them in a flurry of purple light and feathers.

 

(How many times are they allowed to recharge?)

Optyx looked at the other lanterns, they were so eager to fight and kill off the robots. Optyx had seen first hand the ruthlessness of the man hunters, but was this really what Optyx wanted? This was his world and not just some flimsy planet that robots could come in and destroy. Optyx soothed himself and relaxed, he trusted in the power of his ring to create something for him. With Optyx relaxed the ring came to life and created something quite monstrous, a cannon that was capable of shooting multiple tethers at the man-hunters. (-10) (9) Optyx prepared himself and began to take aim.

Sole eventually broke from the mass of enemies and took a deep breath. "Damn. I'm not getting anywhere like this. I need a better plan..." Suddenly, an idea came to him and he grinned. "Today's weather calls for... A hurricane." He said, as he focused his energy from the ring to create a tempest of purple energy. Eventually it grew to a full blown indigo hurricane of energy, before smashing into the army of manhunters. (-3)(13)
