Eh, I'm more of a FF7 guy than FF6. I think FF3 and 4 were pretty legit.

I have a slight preference of 6 over 7, i still love them both though. 4 was superb but 3 really managed to test my patience >

FFVI was originally on SNES but it was called FFIII back then because it was the third to come to the US. There was numbering hell for awhile there but pretty much everything's been straightened out in that department.

 

It's also been released on GBA and PS1. If you have any systems that can access Playstation Network the PS1 version is available there.

 

Personally, FFIX is one of my favorites in the series and though I like FFVI I would easily classify it as one of the lower ranking ones.
