searching A simple, Silent, Tragedy (Mystery, action)

The train makes such a loud noises: the whistle, the engine, and sound of it's metal wheels moving along the track. All of these sounds let the six passengers, on board the train, know that they were one meter closer to home. This sound of the trains progression was calming to some, reassuring even... At least until it could no longer be heard.

 

In a one moment, all to sudden, all of the sounds had ceased; and everything had turned black and white. Whatever action the six passengers had been taking seemed to slow down. All except for one. The one sitting at the back of the train, the mare that had been completely silent the entire journey, had started to stand.

 

She stood up, completely unfazed by time's sudden distortion, and walked over to where five ponies were slowly finishing their actions. If there mouths were moving, words were no longer coming out of them. She, however, had something to say to them all...

I wonder what the other five ponies were doing before this. They had all been on the train and were given permission to roam and talk. Maybe you all can enlighten me?
