The overlord watched as times zoned out getting lost in the glorious memories of war the overlord sighed and shook his head

 

"Damned ponies and their morals"

 

The overlord then grabbed a musket and fired it of right next to times ear to shake him out off his trance

 

"Hay lesser Khronatte snap out of it"

Times ears began ringing "What the hell!!! Have you ever heard of just yelling!" Times pulled out his flintlock and pistol whipped the overlord right on top of his helmet. "Next time I will pull the trigger" Times said as he put it back in its holster on his chest." Times kept his hoof on his sword.

The overlord chuckled at the response that time gave him

 

"Well dazed out I just used a trick me and my brethren would use to rouse each other from slumber it always works ha ha come on keep your focus we need to stay ready for the bloody sun slaves attack"

"If anything we will be doing the attacking, That fort won't last long without our help, and I'm sure Luna would rather keep the applossa territory." Times said as he took his hoof of his sword. Times took off his black coat. "Can't wait to see those stallions running when the here this cannon start firing from the orchard."

Sapphire wonderd abit around before crawling into her tent, she pulled out her book and smiled as she read it, it was the only thing she still had from her mom before she got shot, and she loved the book

 

Embers walked into the field, looking about for the pony he had seen helping them move the cannon

Times yawned. "Well I'm gonna hit the hay.... and before you say anything I am not going to punch myself" Times stood up and grabbed his helmet. He walked back to his tent and crawled in. He set his helmet next to his bedroll. He had a little chest that had 'My personals' written on it.

Sapphire smiled as she currled up in her tent, thinking about all the fun times she had had, and even with this war, how there could still be love in this world, as in the flower

 

Embers walked into the woods, his rifle on his sholder. He was looking for a few parts, and was smiling as he walked

Times lay'd down and closed his eyes. He quickly fell asleep, dreaming about him and his friends before the war. He mumbled in his sleep, "Winter... Shadow...." He rolled over onto his back and began snoring. He was woken by his own snoring. "I can never get any sleep" Times tried to fall back asleep.

Sapphire rolled into a little ball, but she slowly got up and walked outside. She sat down next to the cannon and layed back, looking at the stars

 

Embers chuckled as he walked deeper, looking around him, looking for parts. He knew this would be hard, but he had to do it

Times rolled around and couldn't fall asleep. "Fine" Times got up and left his tent he walked back to the cannon and saw Sapphire. "What are you still doing up, I thought you were asleep" Times said sitting next to a barrel. Times looked at the stars and thought to himself Luna surely isn't slacking

Sapphire looked up abit more before looking down at times "Oh...Hi...Ah, I was just looking up...You know, its been so long sence I have had time like this, mostly just work" She smiled

 

Embers took out his rifle and loaded it, he looked around for the last part he needed

Times looked at her. "Luna surely isn't slacking today." Times said what he was thinking. He smiled when he looked up at the crescent moon in the sky. "Beautiful isn't it" Times said looking back at Sapphire. Times looked at the crescent moon on the cloth that covered the chainmail on his chest.

Sapphire smiled "Yeah...It is" She kep looking, seeing the faces of her friends in the stars, she chuckled abit as she did

 

Embers walked up to a old house, he smashed down the door and looked around. He found a small box with some orange stuff in it, and he chuckled as he walked back to camp

Times looked at her. "Whats so funny?" Times asked as he looked up to the stars and saw nothing to laugh at. He saw one of the many constellations, He saw a shooting star. "Hey look a shooting star." Times said as another one flew by He whispered a wish. and looked at sapphire,

Sapphire chucked abit more before looking up, she had missed the shooting star, she sighed and looked down at him "Sorry...I just was remembering a few pranks me and my friends did awhile back...Good times" 

 

Embers sighed, he had found the last part, but he could not use it. He needed a flower, one that they say had only growen here, and thats why he joined the army

Times chuckled "What kind of pranks?" Times asked as he saw another shooting star, and another. Times leaned back on the barrel. He thought to himself memories of the past with his friends. He sighed and looked back to the sky. He pulled out the black flintlock and read the writing on the hilt to himself.

Sapphire smiled as she looked down "Oh...just very simple ones, like putting the bucket of water over a door, so when they open it, it makes there hair look really silly" She giggled and looked down at the rocks around her, thinking of what it would be like to go back to that time

 

Embers sighed as he walked, he had to get that flower...but how?

Times chuckled "Amateur... no offence but Me and Winter did better pranks then that. " Times said looking at the writing and tring to find out what the words were supposed to mean. The journey of a thousand miles begin with one step... what is this supposed to mean? Times thought to himself

Sapphire laughed "Haha, I know, we would get in lots of trouble, so thats why we only did small ones" She chuckled as she looked up

 

Embers walked over to the field, he looked around him for the trace of anything, anything that had to do with the flower, He looked around

Times looked out to the field and saw a stallion looking around. "Strange who is that?" He said grabbing another flintlock pistol. He stood up and pulled out a spy glass. The stallion was red and was looking around the field. "What is he doing?" Times put the spy glass back on his belt.

Sapphire jumped up, grabbing her rifle "I...I dont know, whos side is he on?" 

 

Embers sighed and he walked around abit, he could see lunas camp, but he had no want to go in there and get shot. He put his rifle on his back and walked around, still looking for something he could find to help him find the flower

"He looks like a Celestial."  Times quickly ran back to his tent and grabbed his helmet. He ran back to where Sapphire was and put his helmet on. "here take a look" Times handed the spyglass to Sapphire. Times readied his long rifle, he was ready to get dirty if he needed to.

Sapphire took it and looked down "Yep...He most definintly is" She sighed and grabbed her own rifle.

 

Embers could see the ponys in the lunar camp pointing there guns at him, he put his hands up and walked over "Jeeze, You guys wont stop for anything, will you?"

"Your in lunar territory, so of course we are going to point our guns at you" Times said "What are you doing anyway." Times asked slowly lowering his rifle. He noticed the stallion had his hooves up and was approaching. "keep your hooves where I can see them"

Embers chuckled "Alright arlgiht, guess you can point your guns at me for all I care" He smiled as he walked. When he saw sapphire, his face draned color "My god...you...you....You have...the...The flower" His eyes grew huge

 

Sapphire stumbled back "Wh? What?" He picked the flower out of her hair "This one?"
