Ribbonfree 2,384 March 3, 2014 Share March 3, 2014 Don't know who else keeps track of the FiM music scene and it's developments; Living Tombstone is hosting a remix contest for Find The Music In You! Anyone else besides me interested in doing something for this? I'd be amazed to see more people taking a shot at it and get to discover potential new talent. Rebel the Wolfgirl 5,613 March 3, 2014 Share March 3, 2014 I think I could do a decent "Beyond Her Garden" cover. Official Discordian pope. Known as Miss Kallixti Oddball to the enlightened..
Ribbonfree 2,384 March 3, 2014 Author Share March 3, 2014 If you watch the video it makes it clear that you have to do the remix/cover of "Find The Music In You" specifically, though.

notaphillyated 2 March 4, 2014 Share March 4, 2014 Bass voice over here, could record for Big Mac/Fluttershy's voice in this song. Hit me up if anyone needs a voice! 1 I am always looking for opportunities to show the world what I'm capable of.
Ribbonfree 2,384 March 4, 2014 Author Share March 4, 2014 Dude, you should try doing a cover then! All bass errday. I'm a baritone myself, so I'm the lameass who can't hit impressive notes at either end...
notaphillyated 2 March 4, 2014 Share March 4, 2014 (edited) I could definitely try for the lower keys, but there's so many more aspects to this song than just that! I'll give it a go, and if anyone's ears like what they hears, gimme a shout! Finding all the lyrics and the longest version's on the song possible, maybe even the episode! Expect to hear something before too long! I'm sitting here worrying my ass off about how I'm gunna find the time to do this! Then I realize that there's about a month until the submission date, and a good week of that will be spent on March Break! As short as it may be, I love March Break. PlunderSteed 1,252 March 4, 2014 Share March 4, 2014 Stem shmem. This sounds like fun, but if I did it, I'd do it my way: start from scratch and pile on the loud guitars, pounding bass and metalcore vocals. For the lulz, mostly. notaphillyated 2 March 4, 2014 Share March 4, 2014 'Whoa your avatar though.' I live in a house full of birds, this may be a tad bit challenging for me even record at all haha I am always looking for opportunities to show the world what I'm capable of. PlunderSteed 1,252 March 4, 2014 Share March 4, 2014 Sample the birds and put them in the beat man! That's a terrible idea. Those bastards are about as easy to work with as a super group comprised of Courtney Love, Axl Rose, Sharon Osbourne and six clones of Gene Simmons. 1 Regards, PlunderSteed Bassist, pianist, and backing vocalist for MLP-themed metal band Draconequus. Well just throw a crapton of distorters on, sidechain it to a random drumline and you've got dubstep!
Scribblegroove 565 March 4, 2014 Share March 4, 2014 I would try to do something, but it will probably be jazz, and no one in the EQD community likes that... But if I were going to do something, I would go all take 6 on it: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=zRfcMn1TVAM I just don't have a decent group of singers and the mixing skills to do it... But I could definately arrange it, certainly with help from one of my 3 jazz teachers. How would you walk, how would you talk if you thought: "Three percent of the population likes classical music, if only we could get it up to four percent we'd be back in business and all our problems would be over." How would you walk, how would you talk if you thought: "Everybody loves classical music! They just haven't found out about it yet!" It's an entirely different world. It's what you make of it that counts. I found an easy way to find out if you've inspired someone. If their eyes are shining, you know you're doing it! PlunderSteed 1,252 March 5, 2014 Share March 5, 2014 Well just throw a crapton of distorters on, sidechain it to a random drumline and you've got dubstep! So basically, make it the same way that most Brony music is made. Regards, PlunderSteed Bassist, pianist, and backing vocalist for MLP-themed metal band Draconequus. MLPForums Phanact 1,374 March 5, 2014 Share March 5, 2014 I might try doing an acoustic cover for this now that I've got my Digital Piano hooked up to my iMac and I've finally gotten a setup that allows me to record my Electric Ukulele directly into Logic Pro rather than through my condenser microphone. I'll try and get something done in a few days time 1 let's love for me and lets love loud and let's love now cause soon enough we'll die
