"it's time to show to barbarians Grhyphons why Cloudsdale always rules"

 

he said waving a small propane torch like  a throphy

 

"she is better than me at fighting right? Let's bring her to a new field, let's make myself comfortable in a storm.. let's change the rules on the table and let's take control of the weather... chaffs and a coil.. perfect... i just need to find her... or let her find me"

Giving a quick, but acknowledging nod to Bliss and turned his head to Seth next to him and motioned his head towards the door that leads outside of the brig, and back into the hallway. As he carefully peeked outside through a slight gap of the door to check that the coast was clear, he gave the wolf a confirming nod. All clear, let's move out. He pushed the door open and after a quick glance around the lower deck to double check, he turned to left and started walking briskly towards the ship's bow, before turning his head a bit to Seth.

 

The last time I saw the beast, was when I was brought here to mop the floor under the impression that I had joined his cause here in the lower decks. He snorted annoyedly, before noticing a set of stairs going upstairs at the distance.

 

That thing thought that it could try it's luck on my by clawing and insulting me, however I proved them that I was not to be trifled with and saw it climbing up towards what I assume is their crew's quarters, after I whacked him hard with my cleaning instrument. Turned to look Seth again with his left eyebrow raised. So do you have any ideas of how should we proceed to bring this monstrosity down? From the first glance I noticed that it isn't very smart, so I guess we might try to lure into a trap and pounce on him from both sides.

Seth smiled at the unicorns tactical knowledge, but he was sad when he had to counter his plan. "Not to be a beer or of bad judgment, but with three pares of eyes.... I feel that luring the beast into a trap would be quite difficult... Unless... Hmm." Seth said, rubbing his chin. "You said that he still thinks you are part of the crew? That might prove helpful. You could cause a distraction, needing him to assist you in say... lifting a heavy barrel. With him occupied, both you and myself could attack him. We would have the upper paw (or hoof in your case) while he is momentarily crippled from his task at hand." Seth finished. "However, I do want to say this: I want to make that infidel pay for my arm!" He scowled, lifting his crippled bio-limb.

He nodded acknowledgingly to wolf as they both began to climb up the stairs towards the crew's quarters above them. Thou speak truth, fellow hunter. It will be difficult to trap that beast, and it with it's three heads always on the lookout, it might be practically impossible to attack it from it's sides. He paused for a second. It would be logical to keep all the heads occupied, while someone would attack from behind and take out the snake tail first, since it's more dangerous than the rest of it's body's heads because of it's reach and deadly venom.

 

As the duo had now climbed up the stairs, both now found themselves standing at the entrance of the crew's quarters, which lead to a dimly lit medium sized room with several doors leading to crew's personal quarters. Right. Now le-- Just as before he was even about to voice out his plan, a loud animalistic yawn filled the air that came from directly from within the quarters, which caused him to perk his ears up and with quick reflexes he jumped behind the door's entrace,while pulling the wolf behind him.

 

Shhh... He shussed at the wolf with his hoof in front of his lips, before turning towards the edge of the entrance, took a slight peak and could see the hulking form of the chimera walking out from one of the rooms and towards at the end of the hallway on top of what seemed like a big basket with a blanket on it, curled down on it and with unison, all their heads yawned again out loudly as both goat and panther laid their head down against the cushioned blanket, while the snaked coiled up to a roll and rested his head against it's own body. The beast was sleeping.

 

He withdrew his head off the edge and turned to look at Seth. The creature is sleeping. He whispered. Alright, let's think about this for a while. He placed his hoof on his chin thoughtfully, as he began inspectingly to look around the room they both found themselves in. The room before the crew's quarter around the was full with different barrels of rum and other foul alcoholic liquids laying on their sides on top of sturdy wooden shelves. Do you see any good place where you might pounce at it when I create a distraction, Seth?

She waited what felt like an hour even though it only been a few minutes...and she wasn't hearing any clear disturbence going on where Seth and Polaris were. There was no sign of Volt either, leading her to think if he found Jewel or not. She was about to make her way out of the barrel to see what was keeping both groups, when suddenly a shadow cast over her, making her dart her head back in the barrel.

 

She peeked out of a little cort hole of the barrel, just right when Jewel landed on the main deck, and positioned her talons over the rail, leaning on the edge of the ship in a depressed and sadden look...Her face could tell it easy. She had appeared to be flying around the ship, trying to get her mind off things...when the young alicorn finally heard her spoke.

 

"Stupid stupid alicorn and friends..." Jewel snarled, "none of them should be given the time of day... We should just sell them all to a slave island and get what we can off them and leave...But NO, Captain Slit has to go and add two of them to the crew! One he's got the hots for! And and lunatic..." she sighed a bit thinking about the blue pegasus pony, "an insane...cute...adorable little... GAH! Snap out of it Jewel! He's a stupid bird pony! He's not worth the time!"

 

Bliss grinned seeing a chance for Volt in his battle against the gryphon...but knowing he was probably still getting his things organized...she would need to distract Jewel long enough and lure her to Volt. She took a deep breath, and hoped her pegasus flight abilities of the past haven't dwelled on her. She teleported out of the barrel, landing behind Jewel in a boom of magic, startling the cat bird.

 

"Hi there! Bet you can't catch me!" Bliss mocked and took off on foot on the ship, making Jewel snarl in anger and run after her...like  a lion chasing a zebra.

 

"GET BACK HERE YOU LITTLE BRAT!" Jewel squawked, snapping her beak at Blissy's flanks.

 

"Yes that's right!" She mocked the gryphon as she headed towards Volt's area, "come and get the little white brat!"

Volt was almost ready, then he heard lot of noises and hoofsteps, he then saw Blissy followed by the ghryphon

 

"duck cover Bliss! the little winged kittie here is mine!"

 

He said stepping in front of the corridor and opening his wings

"hello darling! wanna hang out? bwhahah!"

 

As he spoke, the pegasus took off with a great acceleration, waiting for the Ghryphon to catch up woth him"

 

"YOU! YOU DAMN LUNATIC PEGAS... I AM COMING FOR YOU!"

"uhh i am honored! but usually it is the stallion who has to propose! so any romantic place where to hang out?"

 

Volt said smirking and launching in the air three small metal balls, which opened releasing a red powder

 

"what about.. the stratosphere?"

 

as he spoke he started climbing trought the clouds

 

"you..."

"come on! i don't think you want to let the captain get me away!"

 

as soon as the ghryphon was under the tail of Volt, the sky started to get cloudier and darker, closing the view under them, thunders starting to ecoing trough the air

 

"i missed all of this..."

 

ahed of Volt there was just clouds and clouds, nothing else, sun getting in his eyes, the noise of the air whispering in his ear, the air getting less and less dense

 

"what are you planning to do crazy pegasus? up there you can't breath!"

"that's ... ahhh that's the point... let's make this battle a little interesting shall we? You are a ghryphon.. you are always up for a little contest i bet.. get me"

Seth looked around the cargo around the monstrosity. Barrels, nothing but barrels. Maybe that could come to his advantage. Looking around, he spotted multiple tapped barrels near the creature. Slowly advancing on them, he smirked at his somewhat ingenious plan. "Did bliss ever tell you that I was a bartender? Oddly enough, I learned a few things while on duty." Giving a light tap to one of the I tapped barrels, he listened, then moved to the next, then the next. "First off, never get a griffon drunk. Second..." He taped on a barrel, his ears perking. With a slight shove to its cover, it popped inward. "If a fight starts and you need a hiding spot, barrels are good for everything." He said, hopping into the rum-smelling drum. Replacing the cover, Seth poked out the spickit. From within, he waited for his signal to strike. "Good luck, Polly..." He muttered under his breath.

NightStrike quietly sneaked up to the captains room, making sure he didn't make a sound. He just hatched a devious plan, and he was more than happy to test it out.

 

"Seems like this spell will have it's uses after all" As he sneaked even closer. He concentrated on his magic, and suddenly his horn started to glow brightly after which a sudden flash of light and a big bang followed and finally... darkness.

 

NightStrike used the same prank trick he tried on Blissy earlier. He knew the captain could storm out of his room any second now, so he made excellent use of his environment hiding where he would be invisible using his enhanced HUD to maneuver around in the darkness.

After Bliss watched as Volt led Jewel into his own trapped deviced up in the clouds, she heard a loud bang come from the Captain's courtiers and ran towards the stairs, thinking Nightstrike had gone on without her. She heard the door creak open and quickly she teleported back into her barrel and peeked out of her spy hole. Just as she teleported out of sight, the Captain stormed out of his courtiers. He was snorting and hissing at once, his room seemed to have completely darkened and he was searching for means of light and what caused it.

 

To the corner of her eye she could see a shadowy figure of NightStrike...hidden up against the wall as the Captain started heading his way...luring him away from the others and the room. She waited for a few seconds till she could no longer hear his hooves clop on the deck...then teleported right into the doorway of his courtiers. She levitated his door shut quietly and locked it. The room was pitch black she couldn't even see the tip of her nose.

 

"Polaris horn light....Now would be the time to get it right Blissy..." she told herself as she calmly concentrated...A flicker began to emit on and off...rainbow in color as she focused. "Come on...come on...do it for yourself...do it for your friends...." Then she thought about Polaris...Seth, Volt and Nightstrike...Their bright smiles when they saw her. Their words of confidence and praise as they talked with her at her coronation...how proud they were of her...made her light up inside. Then as if it were reacting to her memories...her horn finally lit perfectly. "OH!" She nearly blurted out with joy, realizing the key focus to the spell was to simply...believe in herself, like her friends did. "No time to celebrate Bliss...got to find a paper and quill..." She quickly trotted to the back of the Captain's courtiers, levitating out books and rummaging through his desk.

The ghryphon watched under her, seeing nothing but thunderclouds ammasing one against the other

 

"do.. ahhgh do you like my clouds sweetie? there is no turning back now.. you are in my terroritory, unless you know how to pass trough thunders and lightings without diying"

 

Volt said stopping midair, and turning back watching at her, his wings flapping faster and faster trying to stay up in the rarefied air, the ghryphon doing the same, worried more about her lack of breath than the pegasus, slowly she stopped in front of him

 

"an..and now what little crazy blue bird?... you brought me here for what? to see who is the first to die breathless?"

 

"consider this: if you want to come back safe, you need my help... that is barium sulfate my sweetie winged cat, that storm will last there for at least a week..can you stay up and fly for a week? i don't think so, this is an ultimatimum, i promise you to bring you back sane and safe if you will help me to free my friends and you will help me against the captain... deal?"

 

Volt said smirking

 

"do.. do you think it is that easy? really? you brought me here in this trap, cheating with the excuse of a real fight.. and now you ask me to help you against my captain? are you fool? why can't i just wait you to get me back there and then eat your damn jugular vein while enjoying you slowly diying under my talons?"

 

"easy, i will need to trust you, i could have never a chanche to talk directely to you without having others around me, or you trying to kill me, it is simple, i save you, you help me sweetie, so, what do you chose? time is running and our lungs are begging for air"

 

"what about if i keep you here with me, and we die togheter like a good old romantic couple??"

 

The ghryphon yelled bolting toward the surprised Volt, who dodged the attack

 

"i guess i should stop looking at life in a maatter of zeros and ones..."

 

he sighed looking around for the angry ghryphon

He nodded without saying anything to Seth, before turning his attention at the sleeping monster at the end of the hallway, while taking a deep breath in as he began to walk towards it with determination. Here goes nothing... He thought to himself, as he approached the snoring chimera and stood in front of it and looked at it for a time, before raising and slamming his front hoof against the wooden floor audibly, which caused the beast's ears and eyes open in a heartbeat and jump up from it's comfy nest with anger and annoyance clearly shown in it's eyes.

 

*Growl* You... Dare to interrupt my sleep, meat? Said Sab. Bwaaaa! Foolish unicorn! I was just having a wonderful dream! Said Billy. *Hiss* Lucky for you that I didn't feel like sinking my fangs in your hide, pony... Hissed Fang, as the three heads stared savagely at the brown unicorn, who merely stood in his place in front of them looking back at them with unafraid, before snorting out nonchalantly. Hmpf... Amusing. Before you're going to try claw me again, I'm here to inform you that you must assist me to get a fresh batch of vintage Ponydonian wine for our captain from the top shelves, since the last one he had is already dried up.

 

The beast growled at his words and approached him even closer, before it raised his cat's paw and poked the unicorn in the chest with the tip of it's claw a few times. Go get it yourself, meat! A greenhorn like you are not gonna order this panther around! Said Sab commandingly. Bwhahaha! What's the matter? Too weak and small to get it? Said Billy mockingly. *Hiss* What kind of unicorn asks help to get things from a shelf, if one can use it's magic instead? Fang asked suspiciously, which made the heads of the panther and goat to turn to look at their serpentine comrade with equally curious and suspicious looks, before turning to look back at the brown unicorn.

 

Yeah! Why don't you use your magic then, meat? Sab growled viciously at Polaris, to which the unicorn responded by sighing out loud and began poking his own horn with his hoof. I can't levitate heavier items like barrels full of liquid, due to my abilities to nullify magic, which makes most of my other basic spells way weaker. He humphed as he noted the creature not seemingly getting his point. So in short, I am weak with my levitation skills and can't get the barrel, so you must help me to get it down immediately, before the captain is going to blow his fuses since you idiots decided to stall me from getting what he wants and will apprehend us both because of that. He narrowed his eyes and raised his voice, before he stomped his hoof to the floor with force. Now get to it, mate and HELP!!!

 

The creature back up a bit at his sudden temperament, before snorting out annoyedly and with a grave silence, it walked past the unicorn towards the other end of the room where all the drums of alcohol were stored. He followed the creature from behind and once they reached to storage, he took a quick glace over to the barrel where Seth was hiding and gave him a stoic 'be ready' look, before looking up to the top shelves where all the said wine was located.

 

There's the one I'm looking for! Fetch that barrel for me now wont you? He sneered mockingly at the creature as he pointed his hoof at the drum up in the shelf.

Despite the glowing light on the tip of her horn, Bliss was struggling in the damp room to find anything on the Captain's desk that be sutiable for writing paper let alone a quill. She had half a wing to turn on the lights, but feared that would draw back the Captain's attention and who knows how long NightStrike could keep him distracted.

 

Outside she could clearly hear Volt was getting his weather on, she could only hope he didn't do something crazy. "Come on come on...they can't keep this up forever!" she tossed through drawers and cabinets in a deserpate search. She then poked her head under the desk thinking maybe he kept piles of paper undereanth...only to find nothing and pull her head out, bonking it hard underneath the heavy wood.

 

"OUCH!" She snorted and stomped gripping her head with her wings. From her stomp though, another cabniet door flew open, and several pieces of paper flew out from the top, landing softly on her head. "Oh...theres the paper..." she frowned feeling she had to suffer pain just to find it. "Well screw the quill, if I can't find one then I'll just use one of my feathers...now for some ink..." She began her second search.

Looking out his little viewing hole, Seth waited as the monster and Polly got into their respectful positions. As Fang began to pull the barrel out from it's resting place, Seth knew this was his one chance. With all his might, the wolf sprung forward, breaking the barrel's cover. With a satisfying trajectory from the lunge, Seth made a perfect line to where Fangs... tail/neck was. When he made contact, he bit down with 750 psi of force.

 

As the shock of the situation finally reached the minds of the creature, Fang squealed out in pain, letting go of the barrel and dropping it on it's others brothers. It swung Seth around, trying to free it's self of the wolf, to no avail. Seth held on for dear life, sinking in warder on the tail.

The ghryphon almost barked back to Volt while the furios chase, Volt turned his head smirking a bit

 

"oh well that seems like an awesome plan to me! but if i get back on time, you will trapped here! bwha! Auf Wiedersehen!"

 

as he spoke, he started diving toward the thunderclouds liek a stuka, the air hissing in his ears, the pressure changin and the stron g-force making her eyes see less and less, while everything almost faded to black, Volt was trying to mantain an high speed and a stable direction toward the cloud, but the gryphon, anticipated his moves, was faster anticipated him few meters from the clouds level

 

"GOTCHA!"

 

she screamed, taking Volt with all of her talons, hitting a couple of clouds before stopping midair with his pray, her eyes filled with rage

 

"my little, my cute little blue songbird... sing.. sing for me! SHAHAHAH!"

 

as the ghryphon spoke, she closed her claws around Volt's back, carving a bit of his flesh

 

"NGHAAH!!"

 

"any other brilliant plans .. engineer?  what about something to not let me play with your body?"

 

"oh i guess you would love it don't you?"

"you  bet!! oh i would like the pull away each of you feather one by one.. yes.."

 

"oh.. i thought something different.. sorry"

 

"..w..what you mean?"

 

"nah nothing...."

 

she closed her claws again

 

"WHAT?"

 

"ngh nothing.. it is.. it is just that you are a rather attractive ghryphon and i am a pegasus and.. it is just my mind.."

 

the ghryphon's eyes got wider, moving her beck closer to the pony

 

"if this is another of your stupid plans to get me to have compassion of y..."

 

without letting the winged creature to finish her speech, Volt licked her beck smirking a bit

 

"uops.. s.sorry.. it is stronger than me.. eh... i'm a naughty stallion yep yep.. sorry..."

 

giggling a bit Volt looked at her eyes again

 

"so, where were you? something about compassion right? Oh i do belive you don't let even a breath to the males of your race uhm .. uops sorry... ngh you should strangle me again i am sugh a bad pony..."

 

Volt said again enjoing the weird situation, faking a physicall attraction to survive

 

"yo..you are a s..strange p--pegasus.."

 

"nah i never heard mares getting complaints... i mean.. i don't know about ghryphons actually... but who knows..so sad i will die before trying.. oh cruel world...cold destiny..."

"Owh there that 'lil Unicorn is!" The captain thought as he saw a shadow creeping by his side. He jumped towards it with a nearly unmeasurable speed only to crash right trough a wall.

 

"I can't believe that worked!" NightStrike thought as he saw the captain attacking his illusion. He didn't even knew he could use that spell. He had been thinking about how he could ever fight the captain when suddenly he was startled by a certain black armored unicorn standing in front of him. It was a perfect illusion.

 

He took his chance as he jumped towards the still slightly dazzled captain planning to finish it quickly, only to be smacked into a wall behind him because of the captain's telekinesis. "Good thing I have this armor now" He thought.

 

NightStrike disappeared with great speed leaving the captain to look around for him.

 

"For princess Bliss!" He shouted dropping from the ceiling onto the surprised captain, his voice sounding metallic trough his rebreather.

Shouts rang out below her feet... Nightstrike and the Captain.

 

"Darn it Bliss! You got to hurry!" Her horn seemed to glow a bit brighter in her need for more light as she continued to search the cabin. It felt like ages before finally she stummbled on a cabniet she orginally didn't see before that was hidden under his bed, locked with a key of some sort. She grinned at it thinking her magic would be more then enough to unlock it instantly. She attempted a open spell levitation that she would use on a door, but it was instantly neutralized upon her attempt.

 

"Darn it...its magic immune...Fine let's do this the hard way." She dragged the small box out, bitting her bottom lip thinking this may be their last chance...Took a deep breath to calm her nerves then aburptly reared up and stomped the box open. It worked like a charm. "Funny... magic immune but not to the physical laws of nature!" She lifted the top of the box open, and was happily surprised to find several ink bottles, and wrappers for scrolls to role up in. "Thank Celestia!"

 

She yanked a feather out of her wing quickly to limit the pain...it made her flinch some since she was litterally yanking a piece of herself off, then dabbed the tip of the feather into the ink like a quill and began to write as hasitly as she could.

As the wolf sunk his razor sharp fangs into the snake tail of the chimeran beast, the beast's multiple heads all growled, squaled and hissed in great pain as it tried to detach Seth from it's tail by slamming it against the nearby pillars and barrels around it with agonized fervour. In vain Fang tried desperately and panickingly to lean and stretch himself towards his assaulter, who was biting effortlessly through his scales and into the skeleton, which made sickening crunching noises and blood splatter as the more force Seth applied with his powerful jaws.

 

*HISS!!!* GET THI--S CRETIN OFF-- OFF ME!!! Fang hissed and squaled out as loud as he could, while the rest of the body kept swinging and slamming the wolf around. This gave the brown unicorn a perfect opportunity to attack the distracted panther and goat head, by turning around quickly in place, before looking back at the creature and whistling out a sharply to get the attention of both of the chimera's heads at him. C'MERE KITTY!!! Polaris yelled out loud with a mocking tone.

 

Rrraagghh!!! Sab growled out in anger, while Billy snorted out and readied his horns as it charged at him with a blind rage. Just as the chimera had nearly reached him, he then raised both of his hind legs at it and with a quick motion he gave a powerful rear kick at both of the heads, which was enough to make it stop right dead in it's tracks and fell on the floor with a audible thud, that made several the stored rum bottles on the shelves to fall over from the room shaking thud and break into thousands of tiny shards as they hit the wooden floor one by one.

"you? come  on Grhyphon.. end me... isn't that your plan?"

"i actually have another plan.."

 

the ghryphon replied back with a smile

 

" uh more tortures and pain i guess..."

 

"maybe but not the way you think bwha ha! little little blue bird... wanna call it a night?"

 

she said rubbing her menancing beck on Volt's chest, who was trying to show himself calm

 

"ohhh.... but... we can't... the captain wants me dead remember? you will get in trouble.."

 

"pfft screw the captain! orders has never been my deal! Jewel does what jewel wants! i will help you dispatching of the captain, and then.. oh yes i have plans for you little bird!"

 

she replied smirking

 

"now let's come back"

 

"i hope this will work..." Volt thought

 

"ok! i'll open the storm"

Nights, I don't  have much time as I write this...

 

Me and our friends have been captured by pirates and are being held ransom, somewhere several miles outside the East Gryphon Empire. We're hidden in some magically created fog by a Kirin Captain, he's known as Captain Slit! I don't know how much time we have before he starts selling us one day at a time. Please my love...you must get help out to us as soon as possible...We will do our best to hold out till help arrives...

 

If...we don't see each other again *a drop of tear hits the paper* ...I just wanted you to know... Our friends fought valiently to protect your love...they suffered much pain to make sure I survived and... *several drops of tears on the paper* I love you Night Lights...no matter what happends...I'll find my way back to you...I love you.

As two thirds of the creature took hits, Seth latched on tight to finish off Fang. As the final head of the beast began to give way, it came down and went limp, the tree brothers unconscious. The wolf let go of the snakes neck and looked over to Polly. "Well, we should do this more often. I enjoy a good team fight." He said, nudging the pony in the side with his stub of a limb. He turned to look at Seth next to him with a slight smirk. It was a rather refreshing fight to say the least. He said nonchalantly, while looking down at the stub of his arm. As for your arm, Seth. I'm afraid that I own no technical knowledge for such, and besides... He paused for a moment as he turned to look at the unconcious monster lying on the floor before them. I think doctor Volt might be able to help you out with that problem, since if I remember correctly, he's the one who created those artificial implants of yours in the first place, correct?

 

He looked away from Seth and started circling the beast, while staring intely at it's every breath and muscle move in case it decided to jump at them again. However our main concern is what shall we do with this creature? Since I was counting on us to permanently finish it, I guess we're now going to have to tie it up and lock inside one of those cabins? He shooked his head. It is honorless to slay such a great beast that has no way to protect itself. He looked at Seth with a stoic look. Only a coward or a monster will kill without giving their opponent a fighting chance.

 

He breaked his eye contact with the beast and began to look around the wrecked storage room around them for something to tie the chimera up with. Can you see something to help us to tie that creature up, Seth? Something very sturdy and capable of holding a rampaging chimera? He asked from the wolf as he rummaged through several boxes and containers at the opposite sides of the hallway.

(OOC Ok since Wayzer is really busy with school, I'm gonna divert the captain so Seth and Polaris will have to fight him ok? Ok here we go!)

 

The Captain grew annoyed with this relentless shadow chase where he was gaining no ground...when it dawned on him. This unicorn ain't tryin' t' escape...nor be he tryin' t' fight me...he's tryin' t' distract me? He stopped suddenly, perking his ears up and looked towards the sky. He could see his gryphon Jewel being viciously occupied by the looks, by the escaped blue pegasus doctor...and Fang, Sab and Billy were no where to be found. "Blast it all! The prinsoners have escaped...? THE PRINCESS!" He suddenly realized the stupidity of himself and darted out of the galley, running at full gallop back towards his cabin.

 

-- At the cabin --

 

Bliss quickly rolled up the scroll then found a candle and lit it with the heat of her glowing horn. Then lightly she dipped the melted wax on the scroll to seal it shut just as Princess Celestia showed her, while quickly stampping her hoof print into the wax to leave her mark. Once the wax was cooled and sealed the scroll shut, she levitated the nearest port hole window open, and focused her magic on the scroll for delievery. "Please...get to Night Lights safetly...you are only hope little scroll..." Her horn glowed and then abruptly zapped the scroll into nothing but a rainbow smoke...and quickly gusted out the window...just as a door was attempted to being bucked down.

 

"PRINCESS LIGHTNING BLISS!" She heard the captain bellow outside his door, "YOU AND I NEED TO HAVE A CHAT LITTLE POPPET!"

 

"Oh gods..." she quickly darted under his bed, grabbing her tail in the process to hide it better, just as the door was kicked down. She held her breath, stopped her shaking, and waited...

 

"I know ye be here Princess...I can smell yer fear..." Slit snorted as he stomped towards the bed and slowly peeked under it, spotting the shaking white mare easily, "ahoy Princess...COME OUT OF THERE!" He scrapped to grabbing her hoof but missed by inches.

 

She squealed in terror and backed herself as far under the bed as possible, praying somepony would come to her aid.

 

-- In the Northern Mountains of the Wyvern Dragon clans --

 

Nights laid on his makeshift trove of gems and gold his mother had stowed away for him personally to lay on while he spent his time visiting her. Both were enjoying their second helping of gems for dinner and enjoying the silence of the cold blowing winds of the mountains...when suddenly a rainbow puff of smoke appared in front of the black dragon's face. The smoke floated in front of him, seeming to inspect who he was, before finally turning into a solid object, shapped like a scroll, rematieralize and fall to the ground in front of him.

 

"What is that?" Pyra asked her son as he reached for the note, a clear frown was on his face before he even opened it.

 

"It's a letter from Bliss..." he answered her, "that's odd, she shouldn't be home yet..." He unrolled the scroll as gently as he could with the tips of his claws and carefully read the message...His face turned to one of terror...then into snarling anger...then back into fear and sadness, all within a matter of seconds of each other. Then he slammed his talons on the ground, and rose from his trove, heading towards the cave entrance.

 

"Nights??? What's going on? Tell me my son, I'll help in any way I can!" The red wyvern female rose up to follow him, quickly stretching her wings out, taking off after him abruptly before he had time to answer her.

 

"We have to get to the Gryphon Empire mother!" Nights snarled and quickly roared out in dragon tongue for three other dragons to follow him and his mother, "The Princess of Peace has been captured...our friends have been catpured... My wife...is in danger!" It was more then enough for him to say as he lead the party of 4 dragons including his mother, South west of the North towards the Gryphon lands...time was of the urgency.
