Because that actually does matter. Alpha is wicked dangerous but blocked by skin, Beta is less dangerous but highly penetrating, Gamma is classic 'radiation' and doesn't really affect you unless you get it in high doses, and Cosmic Radiation will flay the flesh from your bones.

I know my radiation types, so does philipe, but he won't like it whichever direction you take it..

I may be partially wrong about the radiation dangers, my information is coming from a physics lecture I attended like 4 years ago, but I remember that Alpha radiation is dangerous but blocked by human skin. That's why they put Americanium (which degrades Alpha) into smoke detectors. As for Gamma, I don't remember much about how dangerous it is, except that small doses aren't particularly deadly.

Well i am heading off to bed.

 

oh before i do. Today, i got peed on by a puppy, then latr when i was creating a character for my fauther's campaign i choose a paladain, crown prince.... of a city-state. And the city-state gets over ran by dark elves/drow. So now i am more than likely the king of a fallen city-state. With my mother and my two younger siblings, base on rolls... i may end up being the king with no other family with me, or i am a prince still after my fauther has some how alive with then spymaster.......

 

btw skull, that is one ugly ass zombie you discribed. I hope it doesn't have elastic toungs like lickers in resident evil...... *shivers at the disterbing thought*

drips of something falls from the ceiling, a low growl is heard, as the group looks up they see a horrible figure, a zombie unlike any thing theyve seen before it was a special type, it was squatting, its 4 legs jutting out, its natural hoof adhesive (either sticky hooves or hoof magic depending on what theory you follow) was amplified to the point it can stick to walls, its head was turned 180 degrees so it was looking at them right side up, its eyes were souless black with a tiny red pupil, it growled, and before any of them could take a shot it scurried into a nearby vent

3- we have charcoal in the store right? you said the store was pretty well untouched and charcoal is obvious in a camping store...i really shouldn't have to ask

4-please mark the location of the broken skylight on the store map?

5-does our building have running water?

6-are there still no gas stations?

7-what about that automotive store?

Only to die of the whole "bleeding in the brain" thing. Frozen is only now realizing how close to coma/death she really is.

Well... its getting to dangerous for your character to remain with us if she cannot fight from this headach. And if it is bleeding from the brain deal. The best way to release the pressure is actually getting a drill and opening a hole into the skull so the pressure is relased. But we wouldn't have a drill unless we get it from a hardware store, and ontop of that we need a ton of the gaze's to patch you up and make sure that you don't actually bleed to death from the hole. After all, its a risky procedure, but it is effective to keep the brain from pressurizing it's self from the excess bleeding. (I watched House when it use to be on all the time. Thats how i would know, but my character has no idea what to do)
