planning Star Wars pony roleplay.

Hello there. I assume you're a fanboy just like I am. I believe we here at the forums are experiencing a SEVERE lack of a Star Wars roleplay(s). Is there anyone that would care to do one, or a few, in the time period of Episodes IV-VI? No prequels, because, ugh, how disgusting.

Well first of all, will we be using humans or ponies? What's the storyline? Will there be changes in the Starwars universe?

Well, we could use ponies. I was thinking, maybe our OCs could be a small Rebel /or/ Imperial squadron, whichever everypony wants do to. It would go along with the storyline, placed somewhere between episodes IV-VI.

Assuming this does happen, I'd be interested in participating. That said, my knowledge of the actual movies isn't that great, especially the original trilogy which I haven't seen in years, but I've always intended to correct that at some point. If necessary, I can attempt to bring in another player or two, although I can't promise anything, as my network of contacts and RP buddies isn't what it used to be.

 

On a side note, if it were up to me, I probably wouldn't set it during the events of the movies, just because you risk messing with canon or creating plotholes, and also because the Star Wars universe is so massive that there's loads of room for new stories and thousands of years for them to take place across (if you go as far back as the time of the old republic, anyway). Of course, it's not really my decision, and I would be interested regardless.

 

Oh, and I feel I should clarify that I know the prequels better than episodes IV-VI, but that's only because I've seen them more recently. It doesn't mean I like them better, because that would be stupid.

You could always be a storm trooper, but this is sorta centered around the Rebels.
