Frozen gives a sarcastic chuckle, "Yes, I know that it needs to have a charged magic battery or a unicorn to jump it. So can anyone drive? If so, I'd be willing to jump the thing just to give us enough power to get it from here to the store, and then maybe to a magic power station."

"I can hotwire it depending on the mechanism" he grins and slams the sledge hammer into the dash just under the steering wheel, breaking i and whistling "Bad news...this one uses a micro-chipped key...I can still hotwire it, but it'll take a bit of time...thirty minutes?" he set to work starting with ripping the ignition switches wires loose, twisting a few together, and leaving the rest loose. He lifted the hood and started re-routing all the wires from the engine control chip and pulled it out as as well, occasionally he'd try to start it and get no spark from the ignition switch wires. twenty four minutes later the ignition switch wires sparked violently and the lights in the dashboard flashed and came on, "Ok, we have ignition" he touched the wires together and the engine roared to life.

(what?! when the hell was this decision made? and why the hell can't we have normal cars? I know at least a little about normal cars, but no one here knows anything about magic cars...is my damn toilet magic too/ why do we have to make everything magic? cars work just fine the way they are, why make them magic?)

(Don't ask me, it wasn't my decision to make everything run on magic. Ask @Skullbuster if you have any complaints, because I'm pretty sure it was his choice. As for how magic cars work, I presume they're like regular cars, but converting magic into thermal energy rather than gasoline.)

I wait for broken to enter before i enter and close the door behind us. I continue to think about where we are going to go. Then i remember that we need a road map.

Broken lays down again and tries to ignore his headache. It is by far the most painful in the array of sensations his wings seem to be forcing into his mind. As soon as he arrives at the base and checks on Flame and then has his talk with the warpony, he's collapsing and sleeping.

"I walked here...i'm pretty sure I can figure out how to get us back to the base" he shifted the ambulance into drive "I am SO glad this thing is manual transmission." he made sure to make the headlights as dim as possible and took off down the street  hitting a zombie and running over it's head "Twelve"

I say and look over at broken as he rests there. I rest too, waiting to get back to base to talk to broken and sleep.for the night, and do our guard duty for the evening as well.

'What was i suppose to talk to broken about again?'

I think for a bit recollecting information again before the hospital. Then i remember

I start to think about that then go back to thinking for our community

"I think playing any game like that against a unicorn would be unfair, I'll pass Flame, but thanks for the offer." Missy said, Flame seemed like a nice guy, playful, not afraid to act silly, just showing that the world's spirit hadn't died, there were still ponies who were just happy to be happy.

Sweets tilted her head, surprised at this young filly's outspokenness. "I don't know if anything has ever happened to Lace or not, but I don't question it unless it's brought up. Everyone has had something happen to them since this all started." she sighed, nibbling at her wingtips idly. She hadn't preened in weeks.

"I know I have...  and I wouldn't want to talk about it either... everypony has a way of dealing with their own problems." Missy's way was reading, a lot... but there were no books, and she was left without her primary mechanism of coping with disasters. "I used to read... a lot... I was lonely a lot of the time too."

"Oh, ok!" I walk around the store to a room full of baseball bats, nails and other appliances. "Hmm... maybe I can do something with this..." I pick a baseball bat, a hammer, and 7 nails. I run over to a bench and start bashing the nails into the bat. "Alright! This is soo cool!" I test it out on the wall of the storage room.

Sweets nodded, understanding what the filly was going through. "I used to draw." she chuckled. "Seems worthless now I guess." she felt so useless with an artistic talent, but her creative mind still remained. She could put it to use, if she stopped being so afraid.

Missy gave one last smile, hoping to raise her spirits, she failed for the most part... so she turned and walked away, she levitated the gun out of the saddlebag, she trusted Lace, so, maybe it wasn't such a good idea to keep a hold of this thing, she sat it gently down next to her and went to find Flame.

Philipe pulled around to the delivery spot in the back of the sporting goods store(''m assuming that this is here) and opened up the back door letting everyone in the back room "HEY guys, look who I found while I was out....I'm going to bed, I have a big day tomorrow"

Frozen climbs out of the ambulance and looks around, "It looks like everything is going better around here... I'm going to go get a med station set up." She walks into the store, then over to the center area and begins setting up a folding table with what supplies they have.

Broken blearily gets up to walk into the store. He had fallen asleep on the short ride back. Without bothering to speak, he walks over to his bedroll and lays down again.

 

(Sorry about not posting at all. Work is busy since I'm going back to school and my internship is ending.]

I walk with broken to make sure he makes it back to bed. I walk over to mine after seeing him to bed and i lay down in my bed roll and go to sleep as well.

Missy found a small sleeping bag in the camping store and sat that down next to Lace and Sweet's tent. She straightened it out with her magic and she slid into it, she attempted to fall asleep, she hadn't done so for the last couple of days, but for the first time she felt safe.

as the group slept the night went on and gave way to day, it was now 7:00am, the groups only indicator of time was the broken skylight above, as all the windows are still shuttered up, the brick from the high school that fell through the sky light had long since cooled and had left a scorch mark where it fell, the high school was still  burning, though not as much but it was still extremely dangerous to get near

Frozen slowly wakes up and moves over to the food storage area the group had made. Taking a few cans, she decides to cook everypony breakfast as an apology for all the things she did yesterday. She makes an improvised pot from some metal, shaping it with flame magic and telekinesis, and uses it to cook a meal for 6 ponies with far less food than would normally be required. (Yes this is an actual trick in real life. -3 cans of food)

Broken groggily opens his eyes and looks across the doorway at and then around the hallway for any threats. He did not sleep well through the night due to the sensations generated by his wings. He has now developed a headache due to the constant stream of information his unaugmented mind needs to process. The smell of cooking food is almost like a balm on his frazzled senses before his wings translate further the different bits of information they can gather about it.

 

Broken stands slowly and trembles slightly before forcing his warpony mask and making his way toward the sounds and smells of cooking food.

Missy woke up with the pain still in her head, she stood up shakily on her hooves and looked around her, it appeared to be daylight, and they were still alive, thank Celestia...  Missy noticed a few of the ponies she met had woken and were making food. "Hey, you guys... did you find anything at that hospital?"

below the skylight Philipe had awoken earlier than most of the other ponies, he had used the sledgehammer and mattox to make a round hole with a three foot diameter in the floor, about 2.5 inches deep through the cement and dirt below it "morning everyone"
