If we're not limited to generation and starters then the mane 6 would probably get: Twilight - Espeon (This one's kind of obvious. They both have the same fur color and have "magic" esque powers). Rainbow Dash - Staraptor (He's fast in the air, and can also fight if need be). Applejack - Hitmonlee Pinkie Pie - Ludicolo Fluttershy - Uxie Rarity - Furfrou (This pooch is all about styling and grooming, it would make the perfect companion for her ). #Squadgoals "But that day...The day I discovered racing...I proved that the legends were true. Big, mean, strong, but under Fluttershy's understanding and guidance, I'd think he'd be nothing short of a gentleman. Rainbow Dash would probably see to a nice Noivern. Fast and strong, it would give RD a nice companion to fly around with. Plus looks super cool. Pinkie Pie would probably do something strange, like Gengar. Both love playing jokes, both are carefree, and both are very fast as well.. Applejack would probably get a Vaporeon. Something that's hardy that can help her round up cows and pigs, good with a headbutt to help with apples, and can water the crops at will. Rarity could get something elegant, like a Swanna. Something that looks pretty, and give her plenty of inspiration, as well as feathers, for her designs. Twilight would probably go the intellegent route with a Porygon-2.(With Eviolite, of course) Something that can take a hit and heal like nothing's wrong, and return with powerful attacks of many different kinds.
