Violet had just arrived at the restaurant, hoping to find her friend Peace Blossom, and she did, however, Peace seemed to be with someone, a stranger, and Violet couldn't help but over hear them talking about love. She sighs a little, but smiles at the thought of her closest friend being in true love. She walks over to the bar and sits down, waiting to be served.

Icarus walked into the bar. It had been awhile since he had gotten to sit back and relax. He walked in and sat down, and observed the other ponies at the bar. There were many. Two of which seemed to be flirting, or possibly on a date. Icarus looked away from thoes two. He had been a lonet fro so long he was starting to lose faith he would ever find love, like those two ponies.

Violet saw the new stallion walk in, "oooh. he's cute" she thinks to herself and waits for him to sit down. She then gets up and walks over to him, "Care to join me for a drink?" She asks, fluttering her eyes at him, hoping he would say yes, "My name is Violet RosePetal by the way, but my friends calls me Vi"

"Sure, Mrs.Violet. I am Doctor Gold Icarus, of Stalliongrad. May I ask what a beautiful mare like you is doing talking to a  sad lump like me ?" Icarus says, not exactly comprehending the current situation to the best of his abilities. It was odd for really anyone to talk to him.

Violet blushes deeply at his words, "first of all dr, it's Miss or Ms. I have no partner, and secondaly, surely you don't really think that I'm beautiful?" She says, still blushing. "As for why I am talking to you, well I saw you walk in and then eye my friend and her stallionfriend, then sadly look away, besides, I think you're quite cute"

Now it was Icarus' turn to blush. Wch he did deeply under his white mask. He smiled a little, as that was the first time any one had said something like that to him in awhile. 

 

"Well then. Yes, I really do think you are beautiful. Amazingly so. So, thoes are your friends over there?" He asks and pats the seat next to him.

Violet smiles and gladly sits next to him, "Yes, well I only know the mare, her name is Peace Blossom, but her friends call her Kaz. She's the Captain of the Peace Keeping unit of the Equestrian Guard." She says, "so Dr. what brings you to this part of Equestria?"

"Just business, I travel the globe, helping others. Not a fun job, but it makes me happy to know others can live healthily. Though, lets just say the job takes a toll" He says.

 

"So, Violet, care to tell me about yourself, you seem like an interesting mare" He asks.

"Oh, I'm nothing special really. Just your ordinary, run of the mill mare. I often help out with nature though. that's my talent, nature magick, that and understanding and being able to talk to animals." She says, "wow, really cute and caring, don't let this one slip by you" She thinks to herself with a smile.

"No such thing as normal in this world" Icarus says to her, " Not to mention that is a quite amazing feat. One I probably could have used a few times considering the ridiculous situations I have found myself it" Icarus chuckles a bit.

 

Icarus scoots a bit closer to her.

"I guess understanding and being able to talk to animals does help, especially when I explore the forest. Which I do a lot" Violet says, ordering a cocktail for herself, "What drink would you like?" she asks, noticing him drawing closer to her. She wished she had her drawing things with her so she could sketch him, but that would have to wait.

"Vodka would be nice, if they serve it" He says, " And thanks for paying, I don't have a lot of money right now." Icarus waited for his drink, and once it came, he took a nice drink of it.

 

"Ahh, reminds me of what they used to make back home" He says happily, enjoying the taste.

Violet smiles and takes a sip of her cocktail, "should I ask him, YES! But what if he says yes? what if he has a special somepony?" her mind races with thoughts, "buck it! I'll never know if I don't ask." she smile and scoots even closer to Icarus, "So Icarus, d-do you have a y-you know a..."

Icarus looks her and smiles slyly.

 

"No, I do not have a special somepony....but I hope to have one soon" He says, nudging her a little as he takes another drink of his vodka, finishing the glass.  He could feel a bit of the effects of alcohol seeping in on him, but they didnt effect him much at the moment.

Violet smiles, "me neither and so do I" she nudges him back. She looks over at Peace and Aaron being all lovey dovey, "Well, it does seem my dear friend as found herself love after all, silly filly kept thinking she'd never find someone" She giggles. "so, tell me about yourself"

"well I am a doctor, my special talent is medicine and poisons. And, well, I have had a mare friend before, but....lets just say she moved on. I am always here to help people and try to make  others lives a better place"He says.

Violet sighs, "I..I never have had a stallionfriend before. I've always been single. I'm sorry to hear your ex moved on, she doesn't know what she is missing." She tries to figure out what Icarus' eyes look like behind his mask. "Why do you wear the mask?" she asks

"Yeah. We never really did anything. When we went out, she was pregnant from an earlier relationship. So yeah" Icarus gulped.

 

"Well, my face...it is scared from several incidents....some people just dont like to look at it. I also find it better to present a mask, rather than a face, when working with others professionally.

Violet frowns, "O..oh. I...I..I'm sorry." She still reaches up to the mask, "I don't mind if you're scarred, ads more character, and it isn't the appearance I look at, it's the personality." she says kindly, her hoof moving down to touch Icarus's one. "T..there's something you should know.."

Aaron sat at the table, awaiting his new marefriend to finish her meal. He watched the other ponies begin to walk home and thought that it was about time for them to do the same. "Would the beautiful mare like her stallionfriend to escort her home?" Aaron gave her a smile.

Solar felt a bit tipsy from the drinks, but he didnt mind. He just kept going.

 

"Good to know you are sincere then. You are beautiful, and just plain amazing in personality" He said with a big smile under his mask.

 

"So what is it that I need to know? Is it bad ?" he asks.

Violet sighs a little and hangs her head, "I..I was nearly r..r...raped. If it wasn't for Kaz, the stallion would have succeeded and.." She starts to tear up, "if it wasn't for her, I'd still be living in the forest... please don't think any different of me." She says, grabbing her drink and downing it in one gulp.

Aaron gave the new mare a nod. "A pleasure to meet you as well, madame." He said with a smile behind his bandana. "So, how do you two know each other? Is this another sister of yours, Kaz or just a friend?" Aaon looked to Kaz and then to the new mare, Violet. Her coat was a violet color. 'Huh, suiting name.' he thought to himself.

Kaz smiles and kisses him, "thank you dear, you're so thoughtful" she says with a smile and nearly finishes her meal. She looks around the restaurant and sees her friend Violet, "Oh my friend Violet is here, and is that a stallion with her? I hope he's better than the last one"

Aaron looked to the direction she was pointing to see a mare with a light violet coat color. He saw the stallion in question and it did in fact look male to him. "Yeah, that's a male. Why, what happened with the last one? Was it a bad break up or something like that?"
