"Drat!" Kaz laughs, "Forgot about that" She shouts, "Shows over recruits!" as the recruits dispersed, Kaz grinned at Aaron and pulled him close to her, then kissing him with deep seeded passion. "I love you, with my life" she whispers to him, in his ear. Embracing him, he stays laying there on the ground.

Aaron brought her closer, adding to their kiss. She was sweaty from their match, but that didn't bother him at all. Aaron broke their kiss temporarily and grabbed his arm from her, snapping it back into place as the various wires, metal, and gears found their previous places. His arm snapped back in and moved it around. "Much better." he brought her closer to him, pulling her up from the ground. And I love you as well. And I would give you my life." She brought her in for another kiss, able to hold her better with both arms back.

Kaz smiled and gazed lovingly into his eyes again, "as I would do the same for you" They kiss a it more before the General comes out, "Alright you two lovebirds, break it up!" He commands, but in a joking, yet serious manner.

Kaz breaks the kiss "yes sir, sorry sir"

Aaron stands up with her, trying to look professional. The general came in as Kaz looked a little red faced. They had been caught by their superior officer and now they awaited their punishment. But Aaron was still thinking about her loving kiss. He wanted to embrace her once more, but he would wait for the appropriate time.

The General simply shakes his head, "I'll let you two off this time, as I understand these things happen on the spur of the moment, but please try not to do it again." 

Peace salutes him, "yes General, sorry sir."

"Good, now carry on with your training." He says before leaving.

Icarus sits at the table and waits for his food. As Violet cooks the delicious smelling delicacies   The scent made Icarus even more hungry as he waited. He decided to get up and set the table, grabbing plates and silverware for them both.

 

"You know Violet. Next time we eat, I should prepare the meal. I can make some OK tasting northern foods, if you are ever interested in tasting them" He says, finishing up.

Violet smiles and calls out from the kitchen, "I'd love that sweetheart." She soon finishes cooking the hay strips and hash browns, then serves them, placing the first plate, laden with them in front of Icarus, "Eat up love" she says smiling, then a frown crosses her face.

Icarus chows down, eating them happily. He looks up to Violet with a smile, only to see her frown, and frown himself.

 

"What is wrong, my beloved? Is something the matter?" He asks cautiously.

 

I hope t has nothing to do with our relationship. We have only been together for a day, but I feel so.....happy and content around her.

Violet goes to look out the window, and watches the bird fly around in a panic. "Something is going to happen to Equestria soon, the birds can tell. that is why the are flying around like that. In a panic." She sighs, wondering if Peace Blossom knew. She sits down and begins to eat her own breakfast.

Icarus frowned and walked over and wraps his arms around Violet in a loving hug.

 

"Hmm, I have seen many bad things happen before. Some you would never believe. Just know if that is true, I will stand by you, and deffend you with ever iota of my being. To my last breath." He says, leaning in and giving her a passionate kiss.

Violet smiles weakly and holds his hooves in hers. "I know sweetheart, and I will do the same for you." She says, returning the kiss. She sighs, "Figures though, just when something good finally happens for me, something majorly bad happens to counter it"  She says sadly, "Guess I'm just cursed..." something inside her clicked, "O-oh no! What have I done?!" she exclaims, breaking down into tears.

"Please dear, be calm, I am here for you, I will ALWAYS be here for you. Please tell me what troubles you, and I will do my best to help" Icarus says to her with a friendly smile and a soft nuzzle.

The day I got my cutie mark, my family was brutally tortured ad murdered by the ponies of the town we lived in, then the day i moved here, i was nearly raped..." Violet says sadly

Icarus hugged her tight.

 

" I know that feeling all too well. The day I graduated from med school, my family caught the plague. When I thought I had cured people, they died anyways. When I thought i was to be a father, though to a colt from another stallion, the mare carrying it is trampled in a riot." Icarus says sadly.

 

"But I will not let ANYTHING bad happen to us, as long as I have power, that is my promise." Icarus says to her.

The general had left the room and Aaron brought Kaz close to him, bringing her into another kiss. "Well, that was fun. What would the sexy captain like to do now?" He held her close, their armor clinking as Aaron brought her close. he was happy he would be working with her rather than her replacement. But in time, he would have to. But hopefully that would be a time when they would be expecting her to birth their first child. He would look forward to that day, and he knew she would as well.

 

Little did the two couples know, that something terrible was taking way. Something that would put them in utter peril. The neighboring kingdom of Gryphonia was planning an invasion upon the peaceful land. Planning to take the land from what they saw beings beneath them. Their king, White Claw, looked over the army and told them what to expect. THe militia cheered with roars of battle cries. THe invasion was coming. And it would be soon.

Violet wept, she knew all too well what it was like to lose loved ones. She hugged him tight, "and I make the same promise, come on dear. We better get to the base." She says picking up their plates and bringing them to the kitchen. The washing up can wait until they get home. She walks back over to Icarus, "Ready love?" she asks sweetly. "The base isn't very far from here, and Kaz and Aaron will be there" She smiles, trying to forget the panicking of the birds. Who knows, maybe they just heard a really loud noise and got startled, and she misread their panic.

Kaz leaned into the hug and kiss, "I could show you the rest of the base, I mean you will need to know where everything is." She says with a smile, she takes his hand and leads him through the base, showing him where the mess halls are, the other training yards, the gym and pool, and lastly, her room. "Well, here's my..our room, sweetheart" she says with a sly grin.

Icarus smiled and took her hoof. He let her guide him to the base and he simply just followed. Though, on the way, he saw many sites. The city of Canterlot was vast and towering. Buildings ranged from huge, to tightly clustered and small.  He loved it, yet felt claustrophobic about it. It was a very interesting feeling.

 

"How far are we dear ?" He asks Violet.

Violet smiled as she lead Icarus through the city, but at the same time, she kept fiddling with her left ring finger. She decided to stop for a moment. She sits down on a bench and sighs, holding her head in her hooves. "What have I done?" She keeps asking herself. She then goes through her bags and finds a pill and raises it to her mouth.

Aaron looked at the new room he would reside in. "Oh, you have an on-site and off-site home. That's pretty cool." He turned to meet her gaze and saw her grin. "Uh, sweetie. Is something funny?" He went up to meet her, her grin growing larger and his curiosity to find out what was so funny grew as well.

"No, not funny love" she simply says, she was hoping that he had noticed her fiddling with her left ring finger. "but yes, I have a room here, for those times when I get back from a mission and need somewhere to crash after a long mission." She says, leaning in and kissing him. "you've hit the jackpot Kaz, don't wreck it!" her mind screams at her.

Aaron saw her advance and gave her what she wanted. Aaron brought her in for a kiss, a long passionate one. She tasted great as always. He broke the kiss and saw her messing with her ring finger. Aaron raised an eyebrow and looked to her. "Kaz, are you... trying to tell me something? You can tell me anything you want." he placed his hand on her cheek, caressing her. "I love you, Kaz. And I will listen to you."

Icarus quickly snatches the pill after seeing her complete negative reaction.

 

"Violet, what is wrong my love. What has you so down ?" He asks her, "And what does this pill do? I'm sorry dear I just worry, I have seen people do this before, but with a quite lethal pill" He says to her..

"Aaron, you can be so oblivious sometimes, what do you think I want?" Kaz says jokingly, but also a bit sarcastically, "Aaron, I want you, I want no other man or stallion, I just want you, and I never want to lose you" She says with love in her eyes, "I love you Aaron, I always will...Come in, I need to get something"

Violet sighs and looks down to her belly, "You're a doctor, you should know what taking a pill a day after making love means. I can,t I just simply can't bring a foal or foals into the world. they would have my curse, and...I'd probably miscarriage anyway." She says starting to tear up again, "Icarus, I..I'm sorry"

"My love, foals are a wonderful thing. They will make us happy. It is up to you, but really. You are HIGHLY unlikely to miscarriage.  And in any case, one time is unklikely to bring about kids" Icarus says to her and he holds her hoof, and places the pill in her hand.

 

"I want kids Violet, really badly. But it is up to you. And it is not a curse, trust me" He says.

"B..but..." she sees the look of desperation in Icarus' eyes. She never wanted to hurt him. Leaning up from her seat, she kisses him, then crushes the pill to dust. "For you" she says, getting up from the bench and wiping her teas away. "I love you, and will do anything for you"
