Peace noticed the stares and glared right back at them, "Quit your gawking and get back to training! You're guards not gossips!" she commands them, the obeyed her. She and Aaron then reaches the obstacle course. "Usual obstacle course type stuff. You will be timed"

Aaron gave a nod in understanding. "Okay, so what am I going to be doing for this obstacle course? Climbing, weaving, or something else?" Aaron looked to the other ponies, watching the new recruit talk to their captain. He could hear them speaking from their distance. "Who's the new guy?" one would say. "Some new recruit, looks kinda weird." Another one said.

Peace glared at the other ponies again and shouts, "Any pony caught slacking off and gossiping again, will receive paycuts!" Everypony shut up then and went back to training, she then turns to Aaron, "A bit of everything actually. Climbing, crawling, weaving, there is a bit of stealth in this course as well." She says. "ready when you are"

Aaron nodded and took his position There was a trail of various obstacles to cross. Traffic cones, a wall to climb, and some other things he couldn't see but was sure they were there. Kaz hit the clock and Aaron took off, weaving through the cones at great grace and speed. He came to the wall next. He got a good jump and went for the smooth surface. But instead of grabbing the rope, a pair of sharp talons grew from his fingers and toes, supporting him on the wall. "Huh, so that's what those do." He climbed over the wall went to the next obstacle.

Peace watched in amazement at his speed and finesse. "wow, he's good." she thinks to herself, "I wonder if he is as good as this in bed" she grins at the thought, and watches as he moves onto the next part of the course. She smiles, I'll be able to retire soon" she says outloud.

Icarus snuggles up to Violets naked form and strokes up her back.

 

"My beautiful violet. Everything I am is yours, I really mean that" He says with a happy sigh. 

 

He wraps his arms around her and slows his breathing as his tiredness sets in. He yawns softly.

The next part of the obstacle course came up after climbing a flight of stares. It was a monkey bar set. He made a jump for it but missed. He could here a soldier looking gasp as he missed his grip. A device clicked in his arm as a rope shot from it, saving him from the fall to meet the ground. He grabbed the ledge to the other side and pulled himself up heading for what looked like a set of walls, all set at a 45 degree angle. He continued running as he jumped from one to the other. The final obstacle in his sights. Another wall with rails on it. But the looks of it he was supposed to lift it. He stopped in front of it and lifted it over his head. By the looks of it, it was made out of some kind of metal. He set it down, careful not to break the thing and went to meet Kaz.

Peace stopped the stopwatch and looked at it, her jaw drops in astonishment, "A-Aaron. Y-you beat my record!" she exclaims. "I-I'm impressed, r-really impressed!"

"and everything I am and have is yours as well my love" Violet replies. quickly falling asleep in his embrace. She dreamed of the foal or foals she will be having with Icarus. She dreamed of his happiness and that is all that matters to her.

Aaron gave a smile at his triumph. "Cool. I have broken a record. Take that gym class." He looked to Kaz and came down from his ego. "oh, I didn't you upset you on that did I?" He was still excited, but he had dethroned his marefriend. He could hear ponies talking again. Saying that he had outdone their captain.

Peace beamed and kissed him, "No darling, I'm very proud and impressed with you. You beat it by at least 2 minutes."  she leans in and whispers, "Mmm. I think I may need to reward you later on tonight" She then leads him to the stealth course. "Ready when you are, use your instincts but be sure not to be heard or seen"

Aaron looked into the course. It was a long dark hallway. He could barely make out what was in there. But the thought of her reward nulled his thoughts of doubt. He saw another entrance next to the one he would enter. Presumably that is where he would enter. "See ya on the other side, sexy." Kaz hit the start button and he ventured in. Slowly, careful not to be heard with his metallic feet. He activated the infrared to see where he was going. Seeing various traps on the floor. Ready to activate and penalize him upon contact and trip wires with bells. He stepped carefully and calculated. He wanted to impress his marefriend.

Icarus awoke the next morning. He sat up slowly, as to not disturb his partner, and got out of the bed. He smiled at the Sleeping Violet and went down to his medical bag, which was thrown on the floor with his other clothing items in his sexual excitement. He made sure everything was in order and organized his clothing as he waited for his partner to awaken.

Peace watched from one one of the observation windows. She was really impressed with him, he excelled at the obstacle course and broke her record too. And now she was noticing his skills at stealth. She smiles, "He's going to be a great asset to the stealth team" She thinks.

 

@@Commander Tangent,

 

 Violet stirred in her sleep and rolled over, finding Icarus wasn't there anymore, she woke up to find him sitting on the bed. She smiles at him, "mmm good morning my sweet angel" she says, sitting up, placing a hoof on her belly. "Did you sleep well love?" She asks as she gets up to get dressed.

"I slept mostly well." He said pulling out his scythe, which was in it's none hostile mode (Basically a large staff) and folded it up and locked it onto his belt. 

 

"So, violet, do you have a target range around here, specifically one for hand held weapons?" He asked Violet as he but the rest of his outfit and hugged her tight.

Aaron watched as he avoided every trap they had. He snuck through them with ease, but there was a mis-step. He accidently triped a wire and a large arm swung out and tried to hit him. He ducked back and the thig missed. Aaron accidently hit one of the plates. Triggering a large bag sung from the roof of the hall. He dodged it with ease and managed to land without triggering a trap again. He began to maneuver through the hall yet again, his eyes looking at the various safe places to move in.

Violet thinks for a while, "Well...There is the training range at the Guard Headquarters. Usually it's only for the guards and new recruits, but I can mention Peace's name and they'll let you practice" she says thoughtfully. She then finishes getting dressed and asks "what would you like for breakfast?"

Peace kept watching, still quite impressed with Aaron's progress. He may have triggered two or three traps but he dodged them successfully every time. As he drew closer to the exit of the course, she kept notes, Checking her own records, she smiles but sighs a little. She was a proud mare, and even though she was proud of her stallionfriend, she was also quite proud of her record.

Aaron continued on, Turning the corner to see a light at the end of the tunnel And in between were rows of strings in various directions. most likely all connected to some kind of trap. HE began to maneuver through the course. He could see a small crowd outside gathering around for when Aaron touched another trap. They, however, weren't going to get the pleasure. Emerging from the shadows. "Um... tada." He said in a surprised tone.

"OK Good, that should do. I need to test some things" He says as he puts everything on.

 

"Hmmm, how about hay strips and hash browns ?" Icarus asks with a small childish smile. 

 

It was about time he gave his sentient weapon a nice run after so long, give it some exercise.

Peace was waiting there for him. She had a smile on her face, but there was a little hint of sadness in her eyes. She tried to hide it. "That was amazing" was all she said, she took his hand and lead him to the weapons training area. "The last area. I think you know what to do" She says as she moves over to the observation window.

"Hay strips and hash browns it is then" Violet says with a smile, walking into the kitchen. She had hoped to spend some alone time with Icarus, but his happiness meant more to her than her own. She smiles as she begins to prepare their breakfast. She also gets out some oranges and squeezes some for juice. She throws the peelings away and starts to hum a tune.

Kaz lead him over to a shooting gallery. He could pretty much tell from the sight of it of what was supposed to happen. He saw various weapons to choose from. Each one for various situation. He was not familiar with each one, but looked familiar to a weapon he was familiar with. However, he ignored them for one he was familiar with. A small panel sprung and slid from his arm. Various clicks were heard. In his head, Aaron was choosing through various ammunitions. He chose the most common. A silent and simple dart. A barrel extended from the bottom of his wrist. He took aim, kneeling down. He saw three mannequins. Each a different distance. He took aim and fired a dart at the head of each mannequin. Each giving a silent spurt of air with each shot. And each shot embedding in the head of each. Aaron gave a smile and stood, his dart gun retracting into his arm. "Well, that was fun."

Once again Peace's record was broken, she sighs in resignation and makes the decision. She was going to retire. She waits for Aaron outside the shooting range, trying to keep a smile on her face. She loved him dearly, but was a little upset, "Oh well, guess it just makes it easier for me to retire." She sighs as she awaits for Aaron.

Aaron went to find his marefriend outside the shooting range. It didn't take long, with her waiting to meet him. He went up to meet her but he noticed her smile faltering. His smile left. "Kaz. Did I do something wrong? I didn't anger you did I?" He was afraid he had offended her. He didn't want to do harm to her.

Peace Blossom shook her head sadly, "N-no darling. Y-you did excellently...A little too excellently..." She begin, "A-Aaron, y-you broke all of my records. ALL of them!" She exclaims, "I-I'm retiring or at the least, stepping down as captain...Y-you would make a far better captain than me" She says with tears in her eyes.

Aaron looked at the mare, utterly saddened that he had taken something away from her that she held dear. Aaron looked down to the ground in thought. Then had a thought. "Well, of course I did. Kaz, I was rebuilt to function outside of a normal beings physical peek of performance. I'm not a natural warrior. I'm a product of illegal science. I may be physically superior, but there is one thing I lack." He brought her chin up with a his hand. "I lack the ability to lead. And that is something I know that you can trump any day." He brought her in for a loving kiss. "I don't want you to leave right when I get here, I was hoping to fight alongside you as my captain, not the other way around. I love you and I know this position means so much to you. But... if this is something you want to do, then you are free to do so."

Peace looked up and kisses him back, she had tears in her eyes and hugs him tight, "I...." she rests her head on his shoulder, "thank you. I..I'll stay" she simply whispers. She knew he loved her, but not this much, "I..I'm sorry I upset you dear, it's just..." she couldn't finish, all she could do was cry on his shoulder
