Midnight blinked, sitting up. "Sweetie, wake up," she coaxed, shaking him lightly. Her ears were flat as she worried about what he was dreaming about.

 

Dark Shine parted from the kiss. She started coughing into the pillow; she was coughing a little harder than she probably should be.

Shadow heart patted her back. "Are you okay darkshine" he asked worriedly

Grell woke up panting shooting upright liking around quickly and sighing his coat was sea he'd in a cold sweat he cursed inwardly fur waking up midnight with his problems he sighed

Dark Shine coughed one last big time, her hoof going to her mouth as she did so; it was obvious she had coughed up something. She looked up at him, hiding her hoof so he couldn't see. "Y-yeah... I'm fine..." she lied, wiping her hoof off on her tail.

 

Midnight hugged him tightly. "Are you okay baby...?" she asked, her ears flat as she snuggled into him.

Shadow heart sighed "don't lie to me what did you cough up"shadow heart said he was worried about her

Grell looked at her " I'm sorry I woke you it was nothing " grell said " go back to sleep baby" he said whilst at rocking her mane lovingly thinking bCk to his dream

Dark Shine smiled. "I'm serious. I'm alright. I just had a coughing fit is all," she said. You could see a little red splotch the size of a pea on her hoof.

 

Midnight shook her head. "I'm not sleeping until I know what happened... I'm worried about you..." Her ears stayed flat.

Shadow heart sighed catching her hoof with a shadow he looked at it "then why is there blood in your hoof darkshine don't lie what's wrong" shadow asked

Grell sighed "it was just a nightmare midnight really I'm fine and there's nothing to worry about " grell said

Dark Shine looked away, tearing up. "I-I don't know... It started up about a week ago... I don't know what's wrong..."

 

Midnight turned him around, glaring at him. "Tell me what the dream was about now. I'm worried, Grell," she demanded, frowning at him.

Shadow heart hugged her close "first thing tomorrow morning I'm taking you to get checked out" shadow heart said "of your coughing up blood it's serious and needs to be dealt with"

Midnight pouted. "Tell me the whole truth. If you tell me, I'll tell you about mine." She knew how bad he had been wanting her to finally come open about her past.

 

Dark Shine nodded, snuggling into him. "I went to a doctor in Pillydelphia and she told me it was due to my throat being so dry from lack of fluids, but... If that was the case, it shouldn't have happened since I drank so much today..."

Glisten Dew muttered a little in her sleep. She automatically squeezed her eyes shut as the nightmares began to take over. She was used to this so she didn't cry out, instead, she kept muttering. The nightmares went in order. From when she was taken from her family to the day when she escaped. "Please don't take me away! PLEaSE!" Glisten screamed out as the nightmare became too much for her.

Shadow heart nodded "well will see what the doctors here say I dint trust the ones in big cities all they care about is bits " shadow heart said

Grell sighed " it was about how my family dyed in a house fire and how I couldn't help them and had to watch as they burned" grell said

Dark Shine nodded, closing her eyes.

 

Midnight's eyes saddened. "I'm so sorry, baby... I didn't realize you were going through so much..." She hugged him again, holding him close. "If you need somepony to talk to, I'm here for you... I, too, watched my family die..." She began to tear up a little.

Grell nuzzled her and wiped away her tears " it's fine my family died when I was eight it's not recent by any stretch of the imagination" grell said and I'm sorry to hear that I know it's tough but you are to you'll pull through"grell said

Shadow heart pulled her close and held her

Midnight shook her head. "You don't understand... I lost my parents, siblings, everyone when I was five years old... And worst of all, that stupid little whore Celestia is the one that did it..." she hissed, tears streaming down her face as she glared at the sheets. "She took away my only family... Just because she found out they were thinking of leaving Equestria..."

 

Dark Shine curled up close to him, starting to doze off.

Grell hugged her tightly "I unseat bad midnight I lost my whole family as well it was wrote of as faulty wiring but I know that somepony had started that fire I just wushu knew who and why " grell said holding her and wiping her tears

Midnight snuggled into him closely. "I keep having nightmares about that night. I watched her as she killed every single one of them. I was able to escape before she noticed me or I'm sure I would have been dead too..."

 

Dark Shine started to doze off, snuggling close.

Grell hugged her closer "but you're not you're here with me" grell said as he kissed her cheek he didn't tell her more a out what happened it's why he has power over death like he does

Shade heart sighed looking at her he swore to himself that he'd do everything he could to get her healthy he sighed wishing there was a spell that he could cast to help with this problem but there was t is he'd have to do it the fashioned way and hope fir the best
