Katie gasped when the rings of fire hit the snow, suddenly she felt like she was gonna fall over, her head hurt like shit.

 

 

Angelinx noted that Katie was dizzy so she held an arm out to steady her.

Katie accepted Angelinx's help, "Um thanks Angelinx." She said through the sudden headache, "What just happened?" The flames were gone, so was the storm and Hellinx. But she barely registered the fact. @,

"You put out Hellinx's flames and devirtualised her back into Minx's mind." Angelinx told her. She held onto Katie while she tried to work stuff out.

 

"GAH! Why does my head hurt?" Minx asked out loud. Devilinx head her and calmly walked over. "You okay?" She asked Minx. Minx just put a hand to her head to try and relieve the pressure from Hellinx's sudden re-entry.

Through the pain in her head, Katie grinned, could she really do something like that? She had beat someone who had actual control of her powers. Cool."Thanks" Katie said, giving Anglinx a quick hug. She took a breath and regained her balance, still feeling pretty bad, but shaking it off. "OK, so what should we do next?" She asked Angelinx, determined to be helpful at something. @,

"To be honest, I don't really have a clue." Angelinx replied sheepishly. "You okay though? That was pretty cool, the way you handled Hellinx. Uuh. Oh! I have an idea. Want to go back to Minx and maybe make an igloo or something?" Angelinx asked Katie. It would be fun to make igloos and the like with Katie's snow.

Jeremy sighed in relief when he noticed that Hellinx was back in Minx;s mind. "Hey Genesis ...? You okay? You haven't said anything in a while." Jeremy waved a hand in front of her face to try and bring her back.

Genesis blinked slowly and took the headset off tossing it to Jeremy. She was looking down at her hands imagining them on fire. Bright red fire, blazing heat and terrible consequences. She liked it.  "Yeah, just gonna head off to grab some vittles..." she answered absentmindedly while leaving.

Whisper delved into it hungrily, it wasn't chef quality but it was good. "Next time I cook okay?"

Jeremy fumbled with the headset and caught it. He watched Genesis leave and then went back to trying to figure out the battle arena program. "What happened with Codely ... he's going to be a seriously tough enemy to beat if he can do that sort of thing. Katie handled Hellinx's fire really well but then again, ice versing fire isn't really a tough battle. Just throw ice, it will melt and then take out the flames." Jeremy muttered to himself. He went back to simultaneously monitoring the group in Lyoko and trying to complete the battle arena.

Rush nodded and spoke in between mouthfuls. "I can live with that. I bet you're a way better cook than I am. But for now, when we're done eating, do you want to head down to the orphanage? I figure you've had a while to rest, you can probably handle it. And I'll be there to give you a hand, of course."

Katies eyes lit up, "Actually, that sounds like super fun!" She gushed the words, eyes sparkling, the air around her turned briskly cold and the floor below her froze, ice whooshing all around the forest sector. weaving around the trees like a very dangerous skating rink. @, 

 

Ben woke up in the infirmary, realizing that he was alone now. The clock indicated that it was about 3rd period. He could go back to school, or sleep some more. School or sleep, school or sleep? He curled back up on the cot, throwing his jacket over him like a blanket and using his backpack as a pillow.

Angelinx looked around at the ground. It was covered in ice and she saw that there weren't any walls to stop them from falling into the Digital Sea. "This is purely for safety reasons but there aren't any walls to stop us from falling into the Digital Sea." Angelinx said worriedly. Then a snowball hit the back of her head.

 

"You should have seen your face!" Devilinx hollered. She laughed her head off while Minx stood there awkwardly.

Katie grinned, snow was falling heavily now over the ice, she gathered a chunk of the stuff and threw it right at Develinx's head, she laughed and flicked her wrists up, creating a fortress around her and Angelinx, "This is war!" She proclaimed through giggles, looking right at Angelinx, "You wanna be on my team? You can have a codename!" @,

ZAngelinx smiled and nodded. Peeking out from behind the fortress that Katie made she saw that Devilinx and Angelinx were in the middle of building their own fort. Gathering up some snow she then looked at Katie. "Ready to pelter them with snowballs?" Angelinx asked her with a serious smile.

Now Katie was really excited, should she play fair and not use magic? Probably. Was she going to? Well that depended on...to late. She took a breath and focused on the snow around them, making them swirl into projectiles lined up around the fort and ready to use. They came out a little weird, but snow cubes were just as good as snowballs. "So ready." She gave an evil grin back. @,

Angelinx raised an eyebrow at Katie's snowcubes. "A bit unorthodox but they'll do." Angelinx said smiling. She peeked around the fortress and saw that Minx and Devilinx were ready as well. "Oi! What are you two being? Scared!?" Devilinx taunted them. In retaliation, Angelinx threw two snowballs at them. They bith mssed andw ent way off track, ending up in he digital sea. "Damn." Angelinx muttered. She quickly hid behind the fortress as a barrage of electrified snowballs flew at her.

"Electricity huh? I guess all rules are out the door!" She took a snowcube and tried to concentrate, the snow turned that fearful shade of black, it was warm in her hands. She chucked it and it expanded to about twice the size, it hit the side of the opposing teams fort and boiled a hole in it, covering the surrounding snow in the black aura. Cool. or um, hot. Or, some sort of bad pun! She loaded up another, but found that the effort of charging the things was a bit too much, and settled on just throwing them uncharged. One of the uncharged cubes hit Minx in the face, Katie laughed and tossed another. Throwing up the occasional ice shield to block a ball from hitting Angelinx in the face. @,

Minx was spluttering while Devilinx hurried to repair the hole in the fort wall. "Yeah all bets are off! This is Lyoko after all!" Devilinx crowed. She picked up a few snowballs she had previously made and chucked them with more force than necessary directly at the fort wall.

 

Angelinx saw the fort wall break and hurried to repair but but she got an electrified ball in the face, causing her to briefly spaz out. After doing so, she gathered up some snow and teleported behind Minx. She opened the back of her top and hurriedly poured the snow inside before teleporting back and laughing.

Katie was laughing to the point of tears. When Agelinx came back she gave her a brohoof, then leaned over to her, "alright, we playing for fun or to devirtualize?" She asked throwing a shield up as a bunch of snowballs fell from the air. The balls hit the shield and Katie formed them into a massive snowball and launched it back.

 

 

Aelita was sitting with William going over the newest plan, the information from before had been gathered and moved, meaning she now had to track it back down.

 

William noticed something was bugging her, "You OK Aelita?" He asked, "You've been distant since Xana came back,"

 

"Ya, it's just that, Jeremy has been helping the new kids, it's not his job anymore...I'm worried about him." Aelita said.

 

"You should give him a call." Will said, handing her his phone.

 

Aelita gave a little smile, "Ya, maybe I should." She diled his number, noting that it hadn't changed since the old days. She listend to the rings and hoped he would pick up.@,

Jeremy was laughing too much to notice his phone ring but he did feel it vibrate. Calming down enough to speak rationally, he answered it. "Hello. Ha. This is Jeremy/" He spoke into the phone with a few chuckles escaping.

 

"Fun or devirtualise ... fun. Definitely fun." Angelinx said. She couldn't believe how fun this was.

 

Devilinx saw that the massive snowball was going to wreck them. She stood in front of it and when it got close enough, she punched it. A massive boom could be heard as she punched. The ball exploded outwards, narrowly missing Minx, Devilinx and the fort. "I think I broke my hand doing that" Devilinx muttered. Minx was having the time of her life, trying to get the snow out from underneath her shirt.

 

Angelinx gathered some more powdered snow and teleported behind Devilinx this time. She opened up the back of Devilinx's shirt and poured the snow in. Laughing, she teleported back and fell to the ground, laughing.

Katie laughed and her powers responded with a fresh wave of snow falling from the sky. She was getting the hang of levitating snow chunks and throwing them via telepathy. Her powers seemed to be stronger when she was in a good mood. She levitated the snow beneath her feet and hoverboarded over the other fortress and dropped fluffy heaps of snow over Minx and Develinx before returning to her own fort, lightheaded, but having a blast.

 

Aelita raised an eyebrow and said, "You sound like you're in a good mood? Whacha been up to?" @,

"Hello Aelita. Wasn't expecting you to call. Anyway, I've bee tying to work on the Battle Arena program but I got distracted. A group of them started a snowball fight in the Forest Sector and it looks like they're having a blast." Jeremy said with a smile. He continued to watch what was happening while talking to Aelita at the same time.

 

Minx and Devilinx poked their heads out of the mound of snow. Minx glared tried to bring her hand out. Successfully doing so, she grabbed a snowball and electrified it. Devilinx shook herself and tried to punch her way out. Feeling a tad lightheaded, she managed to get the both of them free. She grabbed the electrified ball from Minx and punched it with the other hand. The ball was sent flying and somehow kept it's shape.

"Uh oh." Angelinx said as she finally got up from her laughing fit. She saw the electrified ball heading towards Katie so she hugged Katie and teleported her to just behind the ball. It continued flying vanished into the distance. Letting go of Katie she blushed a bit.

At lunch, Alphonse left his class and grabbed a club sandwich, a bag of chips, and a soda from the lunch line and paid for them, before going to sit down at the nearest table. He wondered why everything was so quiet today, for him at least. Granted, it was probably normal for everyone else that the world wasn't always in danger, but for him it made him feel antsy, like something wasn't exactly right. The looming threat of XANA was making him a bit paranoid. He decided to try not to focus on it and just eat.

@, Katie was laughing like a maniac, "You're brilliant!"  She said, returning Angelinx's unintentional hug. The she tapped the segment of wall they were behind and some of the snow fell away, creating a sort of hobbit door, "Comeon, if we get back to our base now, they won't see the next part of the attack coming." She commando crawled under the entry way and took arms, trowing a mass of snow at the other two before they could see it coming.

 

"In the forest sector?" Aelita asked,Slightly amused, slightly concerned "How? And why? That could be insanely dangerous! How close are they to the sea?" @,

 

 

Ben woke up and decided to make his way to lunch, he needed a quiet place to sit and decided on the least crowded table. A strange looking boy sat, not making eye contact, good as place as any to sit. He got his lunch, sat down and greeted the boy, "Hi, I'm Ben. What's your name?" @@Suitaloo,

Alphonse snapped out of his trance and looked up. "Oh, hi. My uh, name's Alphonse." He waved lackadaisically and took a bite out of his lunch. "So, um... How are you?" He asked. He supposed it would be better to try to distract himself by talking with someone, even if it was a complete stranger.

"Oh, I'm fine, got punched in the face by a crazy person," He turned so the lighting better showed off his shiner. "I've been sleeping in the nurses all day," He thought for a second, "Hey, do you know a kid named Katie Granger?" He looked around the room not seeing her, "She's my friend and I'm afraid she's off doing something stupid." He nommed on his lunch, mini burgers and fruit, waiting for the boy to reply.@@Suitaloo,

Angelinx followed Katie through the hobbit door. Seeing that they were back where they were originally Angelinx smiled and witnessed Katie throw a few dozen snowballs at them. Then she noticed that they were unprotected from going into the Digital Sea. "Katie, you know how if we go into the Digital Sea then we'll be lost forever, right? Anyway I think you should set up some ice walls to stop us from going into the sea." Angelinx said to Katie.

 

Minx ducked and the majority of the balls flew over her head. Devilinx was not so lucky. The balls she did manage to swat away was sent back to Katie and Angelinx but she got hit in the face by most of them. "Okay. Now they're going to pay." Devilinx brought Minx over into a huddle and they talked plans.

 

"How close are they to the Digital Sea? They're in the middle of a massive intersection, you know, where the five paths meet up and branch out? They're in that intersection. I don't think they're close to the sea though." Jeremy told Aelita.

Dart walked out of class with a smile on his face. He managed to get a couple of numbers from the two cute girls in front of the class. Feeling slightly hungry, he went back to his dorm to drop off his books and then headed to the cafeteria for some food. Getting his lunch, he saw Alphonse and he was sitting with another guy. Figuring it was good a place as any he sat down there. "Hey you two. What's up?"

"Ouch..." He said. "Katie? Yeah I know her. I don't know where she is though, I don't share any classes with her, so I haven't seen her all day." Alphonse turned and saw Dart coming over towards the table. "Hey Dart. Nothing much really. I've just been in class all day and it's been fairly quiet." He took a bite of his sandwich. "How's your day been going?"
