Rush looked back at the two Minxes and shrugged. "I guess that means we know they're both safe at least, right? But unless you actually know how to get to them, it doesn't really change anything. We need to either meet up with them or go to the tower, whichever one we can manage first."

 Dex turned back to the screen. "Okay everybody, monsters headed your way. Angelinx and Whisper, you have what look like walking Blocks and one of those tanks coming at you. Minx, Devilinx, Rush and Thunder, you guys have crab-like things and...What look like hornets headed toward you. Good luck with that."

Angelinx rubbed her head with one hand and held onto Whisper's with the other. She pulled herslef up and thankfully stayed upright. "Yeah it was my head. I got a stabbing pain all of a sudden." Angelinx muttered. She walked around a bit when she got the stabbing pain again. She closed her eyes tightly and she saw something. She couldn't make it out but when she opened her eyes she found she was on the ground again. "What just happened?" Angelinx asked fearfully. She then grabbed Whisper's hand and teleported them to Rush and the others.

"HA!" She sarcastically laughed at Dex, "I might be insane but I'm not stupid!" She began to explain herself, but a nearby busted air vent began to buzz, loudly. Bees, 50 in view and who knows how many backing them, came creeping in crawling through the edges of the vent, their small beedy black heads leading. They were going for Dex.

"Shit." She scowled at the creatures, disgusted. She looked at Dex worriedly, "Hold your breath!" She commanded, hoping the older teen would heed orders from an insane child. Than she began spraying at the vent, the the bleach killing off the first wave, but more kept coming. @,

"Rush, look!" Minx said as she pointed to a swarm of hornets and some crab-like things. She figured this was the best time to try out her weapons. She pulled the swords out of their sheathes and crossed the blades, forming an X. The electricity Minx generated could be channeled through the swords.

 

Devilinx didn't have any swords so she clenched her fist and punched at the air. When she punched, a blue wave of energy came out from her fist and travelled towards the swarm of hornets. The energy dissipated though before it hit them. "Damn. Medium range." Devilinx muttered.

Rush nodded. "I see 'em. Not much I can do about the ones in the air though. This hammer can only swing so far, and I'm not going to try throwing it unless I'm really desperate. The crabs I think I can handle. A good overhead swing should do it. If you can handle the other things, I'll clear a path on the ground."

 

Pulling the hammer from his back, he charged forward towards the nearest crab, smashing it overhead in an attempt to overwhelm it before it had time to react.

Both Minxes nodded and headed to the swarm. Devilinx used her .... concussion? ..... blasts on the swarm but thy just swerved out of the way, buzzing angrily. Minx tried a diferent tactic and pointed one of her swords at the target symbol on one of their heads. Minx's arm jerked back as a powerful lance of lightning headed to her target. It hit and the bug depixelated. "Rush! Go for the symbol! It's their weak point!" Minx ahouted back to Rush.

Rush had just knocked the crab to the ground when he heard Minx. "Right, that makes things a lot easier. Thanks for the tip." The crab had gotten up and was about to blast him before he smashed it again, aiming for the symbol this time. His hammer ruptured the carapace and the crab exploded. After recovering from the shock of an exploding crab, Rush hurried onto the next one.

Devilinx kept firing blast after blast at the bugs but they weren't doing anything. She began to get frustrated so she rapidly fired at them. She eventually got one but that's because it was a lucky shot on the target. Devilinx the began to stamp around and jumped up clapping her hands together at the bugs. This caused a massive concussion wave to extend in a horizontal line from her hands to the group of bugs. It missed and they began shooting at her. Minx saw this and fired electricity at the bugs, the electricity arced from one to the next and in this manner it destroyed about half of them.

 

"I swear we got the easier end of the deal. I'm fine here, Dev, go help Rush." Minx said to Devilinx. Devilinx saluted and headed off to Rush.

The next crab actually caused Rush some trouble as it managed to dodge the first few of his heavy handed swings. Eventually he caught it, though, and repeatedly smashed it into the ground until it exploded. At the same time, a third crab fired and grazed his leg, knocking him to the ground.

"Watch out. That's a blast!" Devilinx muttered as she dodged a laser from one of the crabs. She jumped up and landed on top of the krab's head. The krab couldn't find her but one of it's buddies did. She quickly punched the crab in the middle of the target and the force of the blast pushed her into the air the same time the krab exploded. Realising what the concussion blasts could do, Devilinx quickly turned around and punched the air, making her go in the other direction. She crashed in the ground and rolled backwards to a stop, hitting her head against the rock. She coughed and rubbed the back of her head and stood up again.

They landed at the last known location of Minx and her friends. Angelinx let go of Whisper's hand and fell backwards. "Sorry. I had to do that. A blockhead was going to laser you in the back." Angelinx said between taking in deep breaths.

 

"Come on! Are you that slow or are you just dumb!?" Minx taunted the flying bugs.

Alphonse was taking his time catching up to the small group. With the extra weight he had to carry, he was much slower than the rest of the group, but he could compensate by being able to hit harder. "I'm here, let's kick some ass!" He battle-cried, raising his flail and then smacking one of the Krabs with it right on the symbol causing enough impact damage to cause a rupture and consequently, an explosion. "Come on you sons a' bitches!" He taunted the flying monsters. "I got yer honey honey right here!" He said, cracking open the cask and splashing it on a group of hornets, wetting them enough that they could no longer fly and pushing them off the edge, in to the Digital Sea.

 Dex held his breath as Katie sprayed the vent with bleach. He knew that wouldn't hold them off forever."Do you still have powers?" Dex asked her, "Because those would be useful right about now." He didn't have many ideas on how to stop the bees from coming in, besides boarding up the vent.

Luna flinched when the boy mentioned her 'powers' She shook her head continuing to spray down waves of the giant bees, "Well," She expressed to Dex, "If I do have powers, I'm so never using them again!" She wondered if she could somehow block access to the vent, but the things were flying out at 1000 miles per hour, there was no way she could get any closer than she already was, and not even somewhat close enough to bored up the vent! But maybe Dex could, if she was able to distract the things for long enough. But it would be risky, she didn't even want to know what the bees stings were like! Maybe Xana had given them electrical stingers. "Dex, she yelled above the buzzing, "Do you think you could get close enough to bored up the window?" She had to back away form the vent, as bee corpses were covering the floor now, and her bare feet couldn't handle stepping on the things.

Codely walked up to Alphonse with two Krabs behind him and said, You sure can fight can't you but you won't live for long while i'm around.

 

Codely jumped back and landed on top of one of the Krabs. He pointed to the other krab and said, take care of this kid!

Whisper helped her up once more carefully. The rest of the group wasn't too far off and she could she they were being attacked by strangle creatures with red symbols. So that's what they were fighting before?

 

"Come on Angelinx, it looks like we are needed" she stated as she drew an arrow and notched it into her bow. She had never killed anything before but these things were monsters. And like it was a sign from God, these things just so happened to have big red targets on them.

Alphonse let out a hearty laugh. "Great shot! Time for one of my own." He grabbed his cask and charged Codely. "Drunken Haze!" He called out, splashing beer all over Codely, sliding him back a bit. "Drunken Brawler!" He took a sip from the cask and started swinging his flail wildly at Codely.

Minx was about to thank Alphonse when she saw the kid that blasted her with electricity. Getting an angry look, Minx pointed both swords at the kid on the krab and fired twin lightning bolts at him.

Codely saw Minx attacking him, Codely put his hands together and pull them back out making an ball of black matter, He called this ball a Antimatter ball. He fired the antimatter ball at the lightning bolts that were fired at him, The antimatter ball engulfed the lighting bolts and destroying them.

 

Codely laughed at Minx. You really think you can beat me now if you don't mind i'm going to kill this pest!

An arrow whistled past him and landed with a solid thunk into the symbol of a krab that had been making it's sneaky way to Alphonse.

"That's fine Angelinx, if it comes down to it, i'll protect you"

 

Whisper pulled out another arrow but before she was able to notch it, a krab leaped towards them. She ducked and pulled Angelinx down with her and  thrust upwards with the arm holding the arrow. The krab impaled itself on the silver tip, sliding down the shaft before dematerializing.

While Minx and Whisper were busy with the Krabs, Alphonse was busy swinging away at Codely. "Come on! I'll fight ANYTHING in the sector!" He slammed the keg in to the ground, creating a rather large indent, and a crack that was making it's way towards Codely. "It's a Kegger!" He shouted.

"Thanks." Angelinx said. She felt another stabbing pain in her head and teleported them both behind a sneaking krab. She grabbed one of Whisper's arrows and stabbed it into the target. The krab de-virtualised and she handed the arrow back to her. "Seems like I'm not that useless after all." Angelinx said.

Minx stabbed a sword into the head of the krab that was about to crush Alphonse. "Will you quit talking and help me fight?" Minx asked him.

Devilinx saw what was happening with the others but knew that she couldn't do anything about it. She felt her arm get hit. "Seems like I'm heading back into Minx's head. I hope you can take care of the rest." Devilinx said before fading away.

"Gimme a sec." Dex said as he looked around the room. In the corner he spotted a metal container. He went over and saw that it was empty. "Perfect." He tried to move it but found it to be heavier than it seemed. After a couple of seconds, he finally pushed it in front of the vent. "That should buy us some time."

"I've been trying to hit that kid over there" Alphonse indicated with his flail that he was referring to Codely. "But he keeps evading, somehow. But fine, I'll take on a Krab then." He swung his flail and hit the underside of a crab, flipping it in to the air and making it land on it's back, unable to move. He then triumphantly stood a foot on it and said "There, that good enough?" As he thrusted his leg down, cracking through the shell and hitting the underside of the Xana insignia.

Codely jumped and landed far away from the crack coming toward him.

 

"So your fight anything! Ok then", Codely laughed demoniacally.

 

"How about i show you a new power of mine that XANA has granted me. XANA had hacked into the super computer and recovered all the data about everyone who's been on the lyoko and has given me the power to morph into the people i choose but i'm not going to turn into one of your group because your all so weak.

 

How about i morph into someone who beat XANA a long time ago. Codely started to have a black glow around him as he was being engulfed by black mist. When the black mist disappeared Codely was no longer there but someone has was, A boy about 17 wearing what looked like a purple cat suit."

 

The boy pointed his fist at Minx and put his other arm on his wrist like as if he was aiming. He send shouted, Lazer Arror!!
