Minx formed a confused and slightly smiling face at Mr. Cultrou. "What could I have done sir? Like my friend said, the light switch is over there." Minx pointed and she looked at the switch. It seemed to be burnt beyond all recognition. "What hormones? The only thing that I can smell is your deodorant, if you can call it that." Minx put a hand up to her nose and pulled a face.

 

"Hormones dude really?!?" Katie snapped at the man staring him dead in the eyes, "Minx didn't do a damn thing and you know it!" she yelled, "If your going to blame anyone, blame me! I was closer to the lights and I was doing something. If you can call eating cookies mechanical! You should be investigating what REALLY happened, not accusing random students!" She didn't even care at this point, she had faced way worse than the likes of him within the zone of 3 hours.

Mr. Cultrou gave an angry, yet defeated face, "Whatever! But i'll be watching you kids!" he turned to Minx, "And Don't let me catch you making comments like that again!"

 

He walked over but Mr. Cultrou had beaten him there. He couldn't help but cracking a smile when Minx made a crack at Cultrou's aftershave. He decided it would be best to keep them from getting in to too much trouble on the first day, so he walked in between them. "Alright now, let's calm down here. What's going on?"

Mr. Cultrou turned to him, "I was just warning you're friends that they'd better keep themselves in better order! And if any of you want to tell me something now is the time, because sooner or later, i'll find out what that was about!"

 

It was then, the principal showed up, Mr. Delmas, "Ah yes, Mr. Cultrou, I see you're handling the situation very well... I was just coming to inform you the fuses had blown and where being replaced, but it appears you've already taken things out of proportion..."

 

Mr. Cutlrou grumbled, "I was just..."

 

Mr. Delmas interupted him: "I don't want to here anything of it, just get back to work and leave these students alone, they obviously had nothing to do with it."

 

Defeated, Mr. Cultrou began to walk away, and the principal apologized, "Sorry, he can be a bit... dramatic sometimes."

Minx waved with a smile and the principal walked away. As soon as he was out of earshot, she started to laugh. "I can't believe I got away with that!" Minx said as she doubled over in laughter. Soon though, her laughing turned into coughing and then finally a wheeze. "Mr. Cultrou's face was priceless." She finally said, wiping a tear out of her eye.

Soon though, her laughing turned into coughing and then finally a wheeze. "Mr. Cultrou's face was priceless." She finally said, wiping a tear out of her eye.

 

Katie looked at Minx worriedly. "Maybe you should have something to drink, or a good nights sleep." 'or a doctor.' "You don't look well." She felt Minx's forehead, hoping the cough was part of some sort of a flu and not the 'heart condition' alas, she didn't seem to have a fever. "c-come on, you should sit, do you want coffee or punch? Maybe water?"

"Alright Minx, don't blow your heart out too." Alphonse said. "Katie, I believe I still owe you a drink. Bourbon or whiskey?" He said, gesturing to each flask in turn. "Minx I think you could use one as well, just don't drink a lot. Actually that goes for both of you if you're under age. As long as you both aren't driving anywhere, I don't really care."

She got some water from the ice bucket and made her way back to the group, chugging down about half a bottle in one go. "I'm not going to blow my heart out like Medic did with Heavy. Unlike him, I can actually take electricity and live. See?" Minx asked, holding her arms out to her sides.

Minx heard Whisper whimper about XANA. She turned to the girl and walked over to her, grabbing a cookie along the way. "Whisper, don't worry. It wasn't XANA, it was me. I wanted to change the music and I went a little bit overboard. In short, I fried the whole school and we haven no idea when the power will be supplied back to the school." Minx told her. She then took a swig from her bottle of water.

"Cookie?" She asked her, offering the cookie she had taken.

Katie nodded, "You should still take it easy, very easy." She still felt guilty about what she had done, plus she was strangely protective of Minx, Minx reminded Katie of an old friend. But of coarse that old friend was absolutely insane, and as far as Katie knew Minx was only slightly insane. She turned to Arti and Alphonse, sipping at the whisky, "You two should take it easy as well, it's been a long 3 hours."

Whisper groaned. From running in Lyoko to suddenly RttP'ing and running back to the dance, she was exhausted. No sooner had she entered the gym then the lights went out, leaving her literally in the dark. "Oh God...not Xana...again" she whimpered pitifully.

 

 

Minx heard Whisper whimper about XANA. She turned to the girl and walked over to her, grabbing a cookie along the way. "Whisper, don't worry. It wasn't XANA, it was me. She gave a quick assuring look to Alphonse before holding out the flask to the girl, "wanna sip?"

"Entertaining. Very entertaining." Minx said with a massive grin. She still couldn't believe that she managed to get away with frying the school's electrical systems. "Maybe I went a bit overboard with killing the music but it was very entertaining to watch Mr. Cultrou act paranoid." Minx told him.

Katie frowned, "Our third run?" she asked, "That implies that there could be more. Please, call it our last run. Because I'm not doing it again. Nope! Xana can throw all the bees and fire he wants at me, I'm done repeating the same night." She lounged at the table, now very slightly tipsy, and tired to boot. She yawned, "Maybe I should go to bed, hell maybe we all should."

"This is our last run of the night. At least I hope so." Minx said. She felt a stabbing pain in her chest and looked around for a chair. Finding one, she dragged it over and sat down in it. "We don't even know where our dorms are." Minx said. How could they sleep when they don't even know where their dorms were. "GAH!" Minx cried as she doubled over, her heartbeat felt erratic.

'OK OK OK, heart attack,' remember what to do. Katie said to herself.

 

"Stay calm Minx, you're OK. Breath, just breath slowly." Katie's uncle was at risk for heart attacks, so she always kept a small pack baby aspirin in her purse, chewable. "Take this, trust me," She pointed to the others, "one of you call the emergency line, if you think we can in this situation." She handed Minx some water. "Just stay calm k?"

"Oh crap, are you alright? Should I do chest compressions to steady your heartbeat?" Admittedly, that last part was as much his inner pervert as anything.

Minx did as Katie instructed her to do so. She tried to breathe slowly and managed to say a few words. "Heart. Attack. Third. Tonight. At. Almost. Same time. As others." Minx managed to get out before slowly chewing the aspirin. She finished the aspirin and took some of the water that Katie offered her "Chest. Compressions. Unsure." She choked out. "Can one of you please call the ambulance?" Angelinx asked them. Her and Devilinx were unaffected by the heart attack, so they could speak normally.

For the situation, Katie remained calm, mostly. She whispered into the boys ear,"don't be an idiot, call someone, now. She doesn't need CPR unless she stops breathing, and I doubt you're qualified. Call the ambulance. Get a teacher. Understood?

He dug through his pockets. "No I can't. Don't have my phone. Hell of a time to forget it. I'll go find a teacher, though. Or maybe I should just take her to the infirmary. I know where it is, and I can carry her easily."

Devilinx reached up into Minx's hair and grabbed her phone. She dialled the number and tossed it toRush. "Call it. NOW." Devilinx said angrily. She didn't care if the only thing he got right in health was CPR. She could figure out why. Minx breathed in and out slowly, trying to keep her heartbeat as steady as possible. Minx winced as she felt a spike of pain.

Rush caught the phone and called without bothering to say anything else. He'd dug himself in deep enough as it was. He didn't even have any response when Katie took the phone from him. Perhaps it was for the best. He sighed. "Look, I'm sorry I can't be more helpful, alright? I'm kind of a screw-up, I know."

Devilinx caught the phone and switched off, placing it back in her hair. How it didn't all out over the past few hours was a complete mystery. Minx fell off the chair and on to her side. She curled up against herself and tried to breathe slowly. Her eyes were shut tight and her heartbeat was still erratic.

It was about 3 minutes before the paramedics ran into the darkened gym, the teachers had cleared it by then. Katie had kept Minx calm long enough, and the aspirin had helped. The crew of men put her on a stretcher and loaded her into an ambulance. Katie hoped Minx would be safe, there wasn't an RTP to save her this time. @,

Minx felt herself put on to something soft. She felt herself loaded into something and when she heard the sirens, she knew that she was in an ambulance. She felt her heart give a massive leap and she cried out in pain.The aspirin had helped, sure, but it was not enough.
