"Go Go GO!" yelled an officer, as multiple covered troops ran through the rain and into the building. They quickly found the kids in the other building, and used tarps to get them temporary passas under the rain to the armored vehicles. However, more electric poles were falling, and the roofes of all the building were falling apart, and the hazmat guys and soldiers couldn't stan long int the puddles of acid a goop.

 

"You heard the authorities!" yelled Mr Cultrou, "Everyone line up! We're getting out of this hellish downpour!"

 

Arti helped the nurse carry a few more wounded students onto stretchers and carry them up, as the solders handed out face masks to help them not to suffocate. 

 

As students packed into the trucks, some began to head out of the city. However, they were already showing signs of corrosion damage, only a few tank doing recon down the city where mostly unaffected, and even their treads were weakening by the minute.

 

As the truck carrying Arti, mr. Cultrou, and the other students drove for the gate, a deeply corroded tree fell, and knocked down the gate to the street. The truck tried to revers, but with melting tread and acid mud, it was unable to move. Other solder armor was already corroding far, so only a few came to help try and push it, as the storm seemed to spit more rain in response.

Whisper had followed along, not really wanting to speak. She had protected Alphonse and was now standing on the outside of the tower to make sure nothing else could happen.

Genesis had been standing behind Jeremy taking things in for a while; but she hadn't seen Minx come in.

It was then that the worst possible thing could happen. The heavy downpour had caused the a nearby dam to overflow; now it broke and water gushed down into the valley below, rushing towards the city and killing everything in it's wake instantly.

Katie was now watching the dots on the screen do battle with each other. Insanely worried about Rush, and also worried about Ben. Would he be OK? Was he destroyed by the rain? Was Arti OK? And where was Vincent? She was so wrapped up in her thoughts that she didn't hear the elevator, and she was shocked when something grabbed her. She pulled back and elbowed the person, hearing a ratifying 'thump' and turning to face her attacker.

 

Ben was amazed by what we saw when the elevator doors opened, the computer was huge! Then he saw Katie staring intently at the screen, he ran and hugged her. Only to have the wind knocked out of him. "Ow!" he moaned, "What was that for Kat?"

 

When Katie saw Ben she grinned, and also blushed, "Ha, oops, don't sneak up on me like that!"" She helped Ben to his feet and wrapped him in a hug.

 

"Nice to see you too." Ben gasped accepting the hug.

 

"Are you OK Benny" Katie looked her friend over.

 

Ben took a breath, "Well, other than the intense pain in my chest and the drops of acid slowly eating my shoes and feet, ya. So tell me, what is going on?"

Jeremy typed in a few commands and was about to press the Enter key when he heard Katie and who he supposed was Ben talking. "Sorry guys. We'll have to cut the reunion short. Return to the past now." Jeremy said. He hit Enter and a bright light emerged from the super computer to engulf the whole world.

One second, Dex was on Lyoko, the next, he was back on campus, before school started. "Right, return to the past. That's still gonna take some getting used to." He said as he calmly walked along. "I think I'll just head to class this time." He then made his way over to the classroom.

Arti watched in horror, as the nearby building keened over towardly their truck. The driver tried to gun it, in vaine. The building begin to fall right for them, when suddenly everything froze, and with a bright light and flash, he was back at his first class, study hall, with Mr. Cultrou, minute before the bell would ring.

 

"Geheim!" yelled Mr. Cultrou, "Whip that drool off your face, I know you don't think this is a class, but no one sleeps in my room!"

 

Arti wiped his face, "Sorry sir," he said, right as the bell rang.

 

Arti picked up his stuff and headed for the door, not before turning to Mr. Cultrou, "Also, good job on that emergency plan and rallying kids up, just make sue you don't miss anyone next time."

 

Mr. Cultrou just stared confused as Arti left.

Katie stood in the hallway of Kadic high hair sopping wet from the recent shower, kids moving about studying their sceduals,and Whisper standing next to her. "Wow, OK then, I'm not doing that again." she said, "C'mon Whisper, let's go get breakfast." She walked on hoping Whisper would follow, Katie was determined to have a normal day. Eat breakfast, go to school, and hug Ben. It would be great.@@RunsWithSquirlz,

Minx opened her eyes and found herself back in the hospital bed. Quietly getting out of bed with a lot more strength than before, she walked over to the bag and quickly changed in the bathroom. When she walked back to the bed, she saw her nurse there.

 

"Oh good. You're already up and about. We've had a change of plans. Instead of getting out tomorrow, your going back to school earlier than expected, in fact, you're leaving the hospital this morning! Isn't that great?" The nurse said with a happy face. Minx could only nod in return and promptly walked out the hospital.

 

 

Jeremy quickly worked to finish the Battle Arena Sector but at the same time, was slow enough to pick up any bugs and immediately fix them. "Okay, just one last code and ... done! Okay, now to test it." Jeremy said to himself.

 

 

Odd found himself driving through the traffic, about to head over to the hospital. "No. I thought I could take it but no. I've got a life now. I need to go live it." Odd said to himself. With that, he waited for the lights to change colour and then he made a U-Turn to head back home.

Whisper blinked and followed her down the hallway "I don't think I can get used to that...."

 

When Genesis woke up in her closet she looked around and slowly stuck her leg out. Sticking her head out, she looked around her room in awe "What the f*ck..." she said under her breath.

The light had faded and Alphonse was back in his room, head throbbing. Why must fate be so cruel and always give him a hangover, even after a return to the past? He took a couple painkillers and went to the cafeteria, getting some bacon, hash browns, and scrambled eggs, and a bottle of orange juice. He paid the cafeteria lady and sat down at a table, hoping one of his companions would be down soon and he could discuss what to do next.

"Oww. Damn. What a hangover. What did I drink?" Dart asked himself in English as clutched his head. "Well whatever it was, I need to take care of this." He kept talking to himself in English. Walking quickly to the bathroom, he splashed some water on his face to try and get his eyes to open fully. Once they did, he brushed his hair and tried to look his best. Finally thinking to himself that he looked good, he then walked towards the cafeteria to find something to eat.

 

Minx pulled her hood over head and stuffed her hands in her pockets. She saw that the school wasn't that far away from the hospital.

"...Rush!" her eyes lit up. Had he made it? Was it even possible to be too late to return? Whisper broke out into a sprint and ran into the cafeteria, scanning all the faces she could see.

Genesis had enough presence of mind to clean her room and run off to the shower. Instead of going back to her room, she simply walked down the hallway to the cafeteria while pulling her tank shirt on. Genesis had to shove past Whisper to get into the cafeteria "Watch it!" she hissed at her. Genesis wanted answers and she was either going to get them or go investigate on her own.

Minx made it back to school without any incident. 'Now where is that cafeteria?' Minx thought. After getting directions from one of the students in the main courtyard she headed over there. Walking in, she tried to avoid as many people as possible while trying her best to look for her friends. After spotting Genesi push past Whisper, Minx marched on over to her. "What is your problem, Genesis!?" Minx hissed at her. She then stopped talking as she realised her voice sounded different.

Having already been unconscious, Rush didn't really notice the return to the past happening until he woke up again, good as new, save for the bad memories. And that also meant that he hadn't missed his date with Whisper. Not wanting to start the day without breakfast again, he headed down to the cafeteria. His preparations could wait for a little bit.

Katie stepped back from Minx's sudden anger, figuring it must be one of her other personalities. She was about to wave goodbye and find a place where she could make a phone call, but then in came Genisis.

"You ARE real!" she looked over Minx and at the sudden change in her voice "Wai- who wuzzat?"

 

She shook her head and made a mental note for later "This giraffe is taking up the doorway."

 

Shocked, Whisper replied " But I'm not a giraffe!"

 

"Coulda' fooled me mate" Genesis mumbled under her breath. An embarrassed blush crept up on Whispers face.

Katie rolled her eyes, "Giraffe, really?" She said to Genesis "You're insulting her height? Please, I know you don't like being short, but you shouldn't take your own insecurities out on others." @@RunsWithSquirlz,

Yet Whisper wasn't angry anymore. At least not at Genesis "I was in the way. But I'm not a giraffe and my ass isn't fat. It's nice I guess. Normal maybe....well I don't know!" she flailed her arms. "Now, if you want to make normal friends then start by not insulting us and instead ask about...the weather or something..." she brushed Genesis lightly on the shoulder.

 

Genesis recoiled from Whisper like she had spit acid at her. "...." she turned and walked off quickly back to her room after snatching some kids muffin.

"No idea. Probably something weird." Minx said. This new voice was just .... ugh. "Okay. I'm going to get something to eat and then I'll go and sit down at an empty table. You can join me if you want to." Minx said. She moved into the line and when she got her food, she tried to find an empty table. Spotting one, she headed over to it and sat down to start eating. Chewing thoughtfully, she began to think about this new personality.

Katie went with coffee and fruit this time around and sat down next to Minx. She was nomming on an apple thoughtfully when the full realization of what was going on hit. Ben! She would see Ben again! A huge smile crept on to her face and she let out a giggle. Eep! What would they do? Garbage can sled off the roof? Watch doctor who marathons? Ague about the perfect ship for Captain Jack? All night video games? Probably all of it! Just like when they were kids.  But...what about Xana attacks? What if Ben tried to follow her, what if he died. Katie was suddenly worried, she would just have to keep things a secret. Ben was a sweetheart, but if he had to save Katie, he would gladly die in her place. He was reckless and overprotective, and he had little concern for his own life. Xana would kill him. "Guys," Katie said to the table, "Just a question, can we keep Lyoko a secret from here on out, not tell anybody? I think it could be dangerous." @,@@RunsWithSquirlz,

Rush plopped down next to them without warning. He'd actually been listening to their conversation for a while. "This seat taken? And Whisper, can I just say that you do indeed have a very nice ass? Also, we're still on for dinner, right? Because that would almost make up for the whole nearly dying a horrible acidy death thing. Almost."
