Katie waved goodbye to Whisper and nodded awkwardly at Jeremy, "No plob, I'll help. Do we get the left over cake and sodas for helping?" She stepped trowed him and gave a huge, and adorable grin. Still frazzled by Gen's words, which was really super weird for her, normally she didn't care what others thought. She shook it off and waited for Jeremy to reply. @,

Jeremy nodded. "Yup. Sure you can, it was just going in the trash anyway." Jeremy shrugged. He stacked some of the empty pizza boxes and placed them in the trash can.

 

Minx was happy with the fact they get leftover cake. "Thanks Jeremy." She said happily. Her movements were awkward but she threw the empty soda bottles in the trash can.

Katie began to gather soda cans and paper plates, throwing them in the trash. "So, Minx, we still on for late night video games?" She asked lightly, "We can set the TV up in one of our rooms, or just play in Bens room if you don't want to move TV's around. Now we have snacks!" She grinned the words. @,

Minx gave Katie a firm nod. "Yeah, we're still on for late night gaming." Minx confirmed. She dusted her hands on her top and continued gathering up plates and pizza boxes. "I think we should play in Ben's room. Seems much easier than moving stuff around the school." Minx said easily. She threw the plates and boxes in the trash, letting a stray spark of electricity fly after them.

 

Jeremy had folded the tablecloths up and placed them neatly beside the chair that was at the super computer. "I think that's everything." Jeremy told them. With two extra pairs of hands, the cleaning seemed a lot quicker than it was meant to be.

"Cool." Katie began gathering all of the plastic cups and paper plates, "I think Ben would like the company, we shouldn't get in trouble with the teachers, they're a bit more linnet on the weekends." She shrugged and tossed away the mass of trash before putting the lid on the half eaten cake. The place was pretty clean now. "That should be good. Wanna get outta here now Minx? I'll bring the cake if you get the soda." @,

"Okay!" Minx said cheerfully. She looked over to Jeremy and waved to him. "Bye Jeremy! Thanks for the party." Minx said. She grabbed the unopened bottles and went to the elevator, waiting for Katie. Maybe they could talk about Genesis's comment on the way back to school.

 

"Bye girls. See you later." Jeremy smiled and waved to them.

Katie smiled at her friend and went the stand in the elevator with her. She held in her arms the fairly massive cake, they would have the stuff for a good week! Unless Ben got a hold of it. The elevator began to move and the two girls began on the long walk back to the school.@,

Minx glanced at the cake in Katie's arms and saw how big it was. "That's a big cake. Sure we can have it all in one night?" Minx asked her. She held in her arms three or four different soda bottles, held tightly to her chest. "I know you've been thinking about it as well. What do you think Genesis meant by that comment?"

Suddenly Katie bushed, "well, um, I don't really know." She stuttered. Uncomfortable, "I think she meant that we looked cuddly sitting together." She gulped and suddenly felt like bolting, her heart beating at a million miles per hour. It occurred to her that she did feel right next to Minx, hanging out with her, laughing being a shoulder to cry on. It also occurred to her that she had never been closer to someone outside of Ben than she had been to Minx. She liked her, but she didn't know if she liked liked her. Maybe? She had never been in love before, ever. "Wha-what do you think she meant?" @,

Luckily, Minx was focused on walking with four bottles of soda rather than Katie's reaction but when she turned back to voice her opinion, she saw Katie sporting massive blush. She thought back to what Genesis had said and blushed as well. "Um." Minx said helplessly. What did she think it meant? She's spentba lot mor time with Katie than any of the others, unless you count Genesis herself but she was Minx's roommate so it didn't really count. "I think she meant we looked cute together?" Minx asked uncertainly, not really knowing if Katie felt the same way as her.

"Oh, ya, cute." Katie stared at the floor, almost wishing Minx had said...something more? A weird sort of anticipation bubbled in her gut. She found herself sucking in a breath, a part of her wondered if maybe Minx liked her. Would that be okay? Would it be rude to ask? Should she ask? And if Minx said no...well that would be fine. She told herself that. If Minx said yes...than what? Did she maybe like Minx back? Could she picture herself...yes. She could. No, no, she didn't believe in love! Every one had to find a way to make it on their own. That was the unspoken rule of humanity. She shuffled and looked down at the cake. Wondering what to do next. @,

Minx gulped and looked nervous for some reason. Seeing that they were about halfway to the school, Minx glanced back and forth between Katie and the bottles she held. She bit her lip and tried to think of a reason for the question she was about to ask. Coming up with zero reasons, she asked anyway. "Katie, do you like, like me?" Minx asked hesitantly. What if she said no?

Katie opened her mouth, than closed it, than opened it again. She knew what Minx was asking, and she had no idea. She just gave a sheepish smile, "I like you, you're my friend, I like all my friends. But, that's not what you mean is it?" She looked Minx in the eyes, neither of them were walking now, just looking at each other in the light of the moon. "Do you like me? Like, 'like like'?" She asked, butterflies in her stomach. @,

It wasn't a complete no or a complete yes either. She bit her lip again and looked at Katie's eyes. She softly nodded her head and wondered what Katie thought of that. "Um, yes?" Minx asked. She cleared her throat and tried again. "Yes, I do 'like like' you." Minx said, hoping that Katie felt the same way.

Katie blushed, and felt maybe just a little bit of a smile playing on her face. "I...I think...maybe, I might 'like like' you too." She wrinkled her brow, the words were sincere, but weird to say. She have never felt this way before. Did she have a crush? Maybe. Just...well maybe. Her heart sped, she took a step closer to the girl in front of her. Noticing the girls eyes were sparkling in the moon light. "Is that okay?" She asked quietly. @,

Minx's eyes widened when Katie stepped closer. What's she going to do? She bit he lip and gazed at Katie. Sighing and looking at the ground, she shuffled closer to the girl. She looked up and realised their faces were inches away. Not knowing what else to do, Minx leaned forward and kissed Katie for littke bit before pulling away with a massive blush.

Katie was shocked when Minx kissed her. At first she didn't know what to do. She was at loss for words, staring into the eyes  of the girl who had just kissed her, feeling unbelievably scared, and shocked, and strangely happy. She gave a little laugh and pulled Minx back, kissing her with every ounce of passion she could. @,

Minx was unsure of what just happened but she liked it. She closed her eyes and kissed Katie a bit more before pulling away and smiling widely. She laughed cheerfully and spun around a bit before remembering they were meant to be at school. "We had better get back to school~" Minx said giddily. She then turned in the direction of the school and began slowly walking.

Katie wasn't all that sure of what have happened, but it was nice. Really nice. She couldn't help but share in Minx's giddiness. She laughed as well. "Ya, let's get to school." She grinned, walking side by side with the girl in the crisp Autumn night. She really DID like Minx. The thought of some one liking her, and her liking back was exhilarating. She'd have to thank Gen when she saw her next...or punch her. She couldn't decide. But maybe this awkward night could e something more. Feeling her stomach twist and turn she found her voice once more, "hey um, Minx," she started, "do you um...maybe want to be my girl friend?" She asked, holding in a breath at the end and waiting for the girls response.

Minx looked at Katie with a crooked grin. "Of course! Of course I want to be your girlfriend." Minx said, sighing happily. She couldn't believe this is happening. She always knew that she would someday end up with someone liking her but with another girl? Guess love really does work in strange ways. She sighed and sucked in a breath. She looked over at Katie as they walked and asked her a question. "Katie, I know I shouldn't care but I'm just wondering, what will our friends think when we tell them?" Minx asked Katie seriously.

Genesis sat on the windowsill of her dorm room; one leg dangling outside and high out of her mind (lol). She was lost in hazy thoughts while staring down into the lit courtyard. Why had they looked so damned surprised when she said that? Wasn't it obvious?

After leaving the party, Rush spent the rest of the afternoon in his room, thinking. Obviously Whisper was upset, she had to be after seeing him kiss another girl. But he had handled the right way, hadn't he? He didn't really do anything wrong. But... even having a reputation that someone would think they could get away with that was already wrong, wasn't it? He really liked Whisper, and he wanted to stay together with her forever, but he knew it was hard to have to date someone like him, knowing half the girls in the school had already had a shot at him. What was he supposed to do?

By the time the girls arrived at the school's entrance, Minx had noticed that Katie had become rather quiet. Minx had a worried look on her face as she looked at Katie. "Katie? Is everything alright? You seem to be rather quiet." Minx asked worriedly. She wanted to put a hand to Katie's forehead, to check for a temperature, but her arms were full of soda bottles at the moment.

Codely walked around his lab again and again thinking about what to do.

 

"I need to get rid of them and fast if i want to be able to finish my plans but they always know when i active a tower so it's impossible and whenever i'm beating them they will just disappear and the tower deactivated leaving me unable to activate it... But the question is... How?. Supreme Kankrelat, What is your opinion on the matter?"

 

The Supreme Kankrelat turns around to look at Codely

 

"They have power over the Lyoko... Somehow, They are able to see everything but from the looks of it... Your not that main worry"

 

In anger Codely cuts off one of the Supremem Kankrelat's legs

 

"SHUT UP you stupid science experiment!. How can you talk anyway? Did i even give you the ability?... Never mind, Forget about that. Back to a subject i was meant to talk about with you because you seem to be the only person i can talk to around here who real. I've read for the data base of the lyoko and found out that a long time ago, XANA sent his monsters into the real world before so it's not impossible. If i could send my dark matter monsters into the real world and get them to kill those pests then they will be dead forever since they are not in the lyoko and are even unarmed so an easy kill."

 

The Supreme Kankrelat looks at Codely with confusion. "And after you've killed those kids you call pests... What will you do?

 

Codely thought for a min. "Ummmm, Not sure yet but i will think of something. but forget about that, I need to find information about sending monsters into the real world. To Sector 5!"

Whisper quietly walked out from the female dorms, bag hanging off on shoulder. Outside she stopped momentarily, looking up at what she guessed would be her boyfriends window and sighed. Whisper walked off the grounds and started her sprint towards her shelter, once there she silently walked up to her old Beetle and threw her bag in the back.

 

A weekend off would do her some good, she felt like she was needed back at her orphanage; at least more good than she could do right here. She drummed her fingers along the steering wheel, staring at the dashboard absently. This way, she could think and ask advice from people who seemed to care. With that, Whisper turned the ignition and drove off into the night.
