Ruby flied into her house 2 minutes later she flies out with wing blades on her wings "hey gotta make this a fair fight. And you neither have to surrender yourself and go to the dungeon for an assassination attempt on the dragon king or i kill you" Ruby said with a smile seemingly mocking Blue.

By the time she had finished talking Blue, was already heading for the castle. He knew the taunt would work and he's rather not fight her right now. Buzzing his wings, he took off, flying towards the castle at a moderate speed. He could go into hyper mode....but that would be saved for the fight

Ruby growled and flied after him "your not getting near to the dragon king you stupid failure of an assassin" she said fling after him "what a persistant asshole why the hell would you assassinate the dragon king anyway? were you dam hired?" Ruby yelled at him.

Blue ignored her babbling and continued flying. Still, he dipped down low and grabbed some sand from the ground before angling up sharply. "Have a present" he snorted, tossing the dirt into his foe's eyes. It would slow her down and let him find the Dragon King faster without worry

Luna nodded slightly."You've changed so much. I'm sure you're parents would be proud." She said.

 

Tempest smiled slughtly, before he heard the sounds of fighting. "You have got to be kidding me." He muttered, as he trotted out of the great hall. He immediately noticed Blue, and flew towards him with his swords drawn."You should be given up when you had the chance. " He growled.

 

Gale blushed slightly, and smiled. "I guess you could say that we've gotten pretty close." She said. "I can't really describe it, but I feel safe when he's close."

"I have honor. A man's got to stick to his promises and do his responsibilites" Blue Hurricane lectured, dodging the swords and slamming his foot into his foe's nape. "You abuse your power for your own needs, while people lie hungry in the streets, you frolick around, drunk on your own power. I may be a killer, but I have honor" Blue Hurricane laughed, fluttering his wings

Tempest felt his rage boil over at the pony's accusations, as he crashed into the from Blues' hit. "What are you blabbering on about?" He said,as he stood up. "I have never once used my power for my own personal gain. I may be the proclaimed king of dragons, but that doesn't mean I don't care for the ponies and dragons of this island."

"You blind fool" Blue Hurricane chuckled, lighting down so he was on the level of the dragon. "While you spend your time playing acrobatics with your whore dragon, people die because you don't enforce laws. I may have even killed a few of them but their blood is on you" Blue Hurricane spat, trying to goad the dragon king into acting foolish

(You do realize that Tempest is a pony, right? Also, said pegesus co-leads the village with Celestia and Luna.)

 

Tempest nearly lost control of his anger, but he was barely able to keep it under control. "Not every system is perfect." He said. "I can't possibly be everywhere at once, so I entrust those I know I can count on to make sure that both dragons and ponies are safe. I also allow those who have a problem speak their mind and make that change occur to the best of my ability" The cyan pegesus then glared at Blue, as his pupils narrowed into slits and he dropped his swords. "You speak of honor, yet you kill innocent civilians. As the protector of this island and it's dragons and ponies, I will avenge them." Tempest then flew directly at the would be assassin, and delivered a swift roundhouse kick to his chest.

Clayton watched as Tempest and Bue fought. He didn't really think it would be a good idea to get in the fight, and he doubted Tempest would want anypony to interfere. "That pony has no idea what he just did, does he?" He thought to himself. "Tempest won't let him live after insulting Gale."

"Man's got to work. I only kill who is in the contract" Blue Hurricane laughed, rolling with the kick and spinning back a few feet. It left a bruise, but the damage had been lessened. "Besides, many of my targets included traffickers and crime lords, so I may have actually saved some people" Blue Hurricane shrugged, zipping forward and headbutting Temptest

The cyan pegesus dug his back hooves in the ground, and used Blue's momentum against him as he threw him a few feet. "Well, I guess you have something going for you." He said. "So, why do this?" Tempest then gestured to all of Blue. "You could easily find some other use for your abilities."

"Fame" Blue responded, preening his ego. "My name will go down in history as the killer of the dragon king, I'll never have to work again" Blue fantasized, his eyes glowing with delight. "Need to kill you first" he grinned, buzzing around Temptest and wrapping his arms around his throat

Ruby had wiped the sand off her eyes she then flew after  Blue Hurricane at top speed "you aren't gonna even lay a wing blade on him you attention whore " she then dived down towards Blue kicking him in his face.

"Naughty language" Blue countered, again rolling back with the kick. This time though, he used his momentum to springboard off the rocky cliffs, lunging into a mule kick aimed at her body. He had to take her down quick, focusing on the Dragon king was top priority compared to her

Gale nodded slightly, and glanced at her mother. "We are..." She said, slightly nervous as to what to say next. ",though I sometimes wonder if he has feelings for me, aside from just being a friend."

 

Tempest grit his teeth in frustration. "So, I was wrong about you. You're nothing more than some egomaneiac who is to arrogant to see that he is being used." He said, as he blocked Blue's kick. The cyan pegesus then threw Blue to the ground. "

Clayton sighed as he unsheathed his obsidian scythe. "You're out numbered, outmatched, and out skilled. You might as well pick the smart choice and give up." He said, giving Blue a slight glance. The unicorn honestly didn't care what the unicorn did, but he wanted to see if he could get some information out of the pegesus.

"Think I'll give up? I have honor" Blue Hurricane snarled, backing away. Time to bust out desperate tactics. "Not enough honor to not be smart though" he chuckled, zipping away and grabbing a foal. He pushed the foal to the ground and placed his wing blades against the foal's neck. 

"Every time you move an inch, these blades will go in an inch" Blue Hurricane threated

Tempest lost control as soon as Blue threatened the foal. Before the would be assassin could react, the cyan pegesus shifted into his dragon form and knocked Blue away. The dragon then pinned him to the ground with his claws digging into soft flesh."You are a bigger fool than I realized." He growled.

"So are you" Blue Hurricane smirked, realizing just how close the dragon was. A flash of steel and Blue Hurricane was free, having used his wings to back off. "Check your gut" Blue Hurricane taunted, having slashed into his stomach using the razor sharp blades. It was a savage and ragged wound, but it was not fatal

By this time, a few other ponies had heard the fight had come to investigate. It took all of Celesgia's willpower not to fight Blue.

 

Searing pain washed over Tempest's body. He could feel blood on his scales, and the dragon seethed in anger. Blood pooled on the ground under his chest.

"Now, to lay the coup de grace to the king of dragons. You weren't as tough as I thought" Blue Hurricane mocked, pawing the ground in preparation for a finishing blow. How would he do it? A clean kill? A gory one so everyone knew to fear him? So many choices to choose from!

As Blue pondered about how he would kill Tempest, the dragon/pony recalled everything he had done over the past few years, and felt his anger boil into pure vehemence. He would not let this arrogant, self-serving, excuse for a mercenary take everything he had, everything that he had worked so hard to make happen. Tempest then roared, before firing multiple blasts of plasma. His eyes held no emotion other than sheer anger and contempt for Blue.

The plasma blasts hit dead on, going straight through Blue Hurricane. Unfortunately for the civilians, Temptest had not hit the right one. Blue Hurricane had just merely managed to dodge out of the way, leaving an after image. A few spectators were knocked over by the blast and Blue Hurricane himself had to slash a few bits of rubble apart.

 

"Wow, that was close!" Blue Hurricane snapped in alarm, still getting off his adrenaline rush. Then he laughed, thinking Temptest defeated. He assumed the fire balls were his last stand

Unfortunately for Blue, the plasma blasts were merely a somewhat lethal distraction. Tempest leaped onto the outer wall of one of the smaller buildings, and used the momentum to ricochet into the real Blue. He then closed his jaws around the base of assassins' wing, and bit down as hard as he could, with his teeth tearing through flesh and bone.

 

(We should probably start wrapping up the fight. I also want Tempest to live. I have many plans for him #evilsmile)
