((Okay, this won't kill Temptest, it'll hurt though))

Blue whimpered, struggling against the urge to scream. Still, he mustered his will power and pressed forward, the wing blades, tearing Temptest's jaws open. It looked horrible, but if he was given medical attention, he'd live. Granted, he'd be eating through a straw, but still. Buzzing his remaining wing wildly, Blue Hurricane splashed across the water, using his wing as a propeller and the salt water to clean his mangled wing. It would also recover...but he needed to returned to base

Tempest simply watched as Blue flew away. The dragon was starting to wean off his vehemence, and pain took over. After a few seconds, the cyan pegesus fell to the ground, unconscious. He had lost a lot of blood, and that wasn't even the worse part. His jaw had multiple cuts and the wound on his chest was also a concern.

Clayton helped Tempest up, and sighed. "Don't die on us now." He muttered to the unconscious form of the cyan pegesus, as he trotted towards the said pony's' home. The unicorn wasn't about to let one of his closest friends die. "You've come to far to do that."

 

Orion sighed, as he stood up. He was tempted to go for an afternoon flight, but want to stay close to the village in case anything happened.

The cloaked pony that would be serving as Dagur's "advisor" glanced at the ships that the Berserkers would take to Equestria, namely all of them. "Everything seems to be in order." He muttered to himself, as he noticed Dagur board one of the ships. "I suppose it's time to go." The pony trotted onto the same ship, and the fleet shoved off. If everything went according to plan, his armies would take Equestria in a day.

As soon as Clayton got into Tempest's house, he set the cyan pegesus on his bed, and sighed. He honestly had no idea how to treat wounds! But he had to do something. "I wonder if Ruby could help." He thought to himself. The unicorn then trotted outside, and began to look for said

Ruby then quickly landed in front of Clayton "uh wheres Tempest? is he alright? wheres that wannabe assassin? i wan't to rip his guts off!" Ruby said flashing her wing blades and looking around.

 

 

 

Gale nodded slightly, and glanced at her mother. "We are..." She said, slightly nervous as to what to say next. ",though I sometimes wonder if he has feelings for me, aside from just being a friend."

 

"Maybe he does Gale you will just have to wait and see" Tenebra said.

Gale blushed slightly, and smiled. "Thanks, mom." She said. The dragoness then laid on the warm glass and simply did a bit of sunbathing, but she decided not the conversation to die there. "Anyway, what have you been up to for the past few years? It feels like we hardly see each other."

Clayton glanced at Ruby and nodded. "He's fine, but his wounds need to be treated. As for the assassin, I think he left." He said, before remembering what the cyan pegesus did during the last part of the fight. "I'm worried about Tempest. During the last part of the fight, he just seemed to lose control."

"Well i haven't been doing a lot of things Ruby seemingly likes to fly a lot so i usually fly with her" Tenebra said.

"Heh i'd lose control if some dumb wannabe assassin is trying to kill me so it's understandable... sort of " Ruby said "man if i see that wannabe assassin again he's gonna get what he deserves!".

Gale nodded slightly. "That's understandable." She said, laughing slightly.

 

Tempest groaned as he drifted through nightmares. He saw Gale die right in front of him, and he could do nothing about it. He saw Equestria burning, and dragons killing ponies. "What is this?" He asked, as everything went pitch black.

 

Luna sighed, as she watched Tempest in his own dreams. "Something troubles you, my friend." She said, revealing herself.

 

(Might as well have a bit of magic in this.)

Clayton nodded slightly, but he still felt a bit uneasy. "I don't think it was like that. It was like Tempest let his rage take over. You should've seen him." He said. "Anyway, we should probably do something about Tempest's wounds. You wouldn't happen to know anything about that sort of thing, would you?"

Tempest sighed as he heard Luna's voice. "To be honest, yes." He said. "It's more than that, thought. I've lost so much over my life: my parents, the respect of the others for a time, and my self. I don't want to lose anything else."

 

Luna nodded slightly. "I understand." She said. "Come. There is something I want to show you." Luna then trotted further into Tempest's mind.

 

The cyan pegesus simply followed Luna, and noticed that memories drifted by as they trotted along. Most of the memories involded Gale and his friends "Why are we here?" He asked.

Orion sighed, as he flew into the air. He needed to relax a bit, but he was still mindful about where he flew. He kept to the less inhabited side of the island so as not to be seen. "I should go see Tenebra later. It would give me somepony to talk to." He said, smiling slightly. The dragon then shook his head to clear his thoughts, and kept his mind on flying.

Luna sighed, and glanced at Tempest. "I'm worried about you, Tempest." She said. "You know what happens when you let your emotions take over."

 

The cyan pegesus sighed. "I had no choice. I wasn't about to die and lose everything: my friend, my life, Gale."

 

Luna raised an eyebrow. "I thought Gale was one of your friends." She said, her voice twinged with curiosity.

 

Tempest bit his lower lip. "I guess I had to admit it sooner or later.I love her. I love Gale." His voice held no regret, and the darkness surrounding the two ponies gave way to light.

 

Luna smiled slightly. "I'll see you later, but tell Gale how you feel when you wake up." The cheif's second in command then simply faded out of Tempest's mind.

Ruby sighed "i know only little tiny bit about healing injuries but i'm not a unicorn or an alicorn so i can barely do anything to heal Tempest's wounds " Ruby said dissapointed.

Tenebra chuckled "i wonder what Tempest Ruby and Clayton are doing right now"

Gale laughed slightly, and sighed. "They always seem to get into some form of trouble when we aren't around." She said. "They should be fine, though."

 

Luna smiled, as she trotted towards Clayton and Ruby. "Come on. I'm going to need some help with Tempest's wounds, and I think that you two should be there." She said. "You are his closest friends, after all."

Clayton nodded at Ruby, and glanced at Luna. "He's a strong pony. He' may be injured, but he'll live." He said, smiling slightly. "That doesn't mean that we won't be there for him. He would do the same for any of us." The unicorn, no matter how intimidated by Tempests' fury, wouldn't abandon his friend.

Dagur glanced at the cloaked pony as his ships sailed the ocean. "Xena, was it?" He asked, getting a small glance from the pony. "Anyway, I was wondering about something. Why would you want to accompany on this trip?"

 

Xena shrugged, and leaned against the railing of the ship. "I thought I might as well return home after so long." He said, his tone staying emotionless. "You will not tell them my true name, though. Are we clear?"

 

Dagur nodded. "Of course." He said, before returning his attention to which way the boat was heading.

 

Xena smirked, as he noticed a small hump in the water. Unless you knew what you were looking for, it was barely noticeable. "This fool doesn't even know what I'm planning. Everything is going according to plan." He thought, laughing slightly.

Luna nodded slightly, and smiled. "Thank you, for everything. Tempest wouldn't be here without you two." She said. The alicor then trotted towards Tempest's home.

 

As soon as Tempest woke up, he felt pain wrack his body. He looked around to see that he was in his home. Tempest sighed, as he drifted back into ubconciousness, unable to find the energy to move.

Ruby followed Luna towards Tempest's home "how bad are his injuries anyway Luna? also what should we do about that wannabe assassin? " Ruby asked.

 

"Yea i hope their alright hopefully. Also i'm getting a little bit hungry do you want to go by a river or lake to hunt some fish?" Tenebra asked.

Blue Hurricane binded his wing, camped out by the lake. Even if the wounds he had inflicted weren't fatal, they were crippling. He'd just have to wait a few days for his wing to heal, and then take him out before the dragon king could recover from the savage attack he had inflicted on him

Gale nodded enthusiastically. "I don't see why not." She said. The dragoness was honestly hungry, and had yet to eat lunch.

 

Luna glanced at Ruby, and smiled. "Like Clayton said, Tempest isn't hurt to badly. The wounds may scar, but that's the least of his problems." She said. "We'll have to be prepared in case the assassin comes back, as well. I want you two with Tempest at all times."

Clayton nodded slightly as he followed Luna. "I wonder what she means by that." He thought to himself. "As for this recent attack, I wonder if it has anything to do with the Beserker's visit." The unicorn then sighed.

 

Orion dove through the ocean as he hunted for food. He needed to get something to eat, and he figured that he might as well do a bit of fishing. "I might as well see what Gale and Tenebra are up to." He thought, as he began to fly back to Equestria.

Luna nodded, and entered Tempest's house. The cyan pegesus was still laying on his bed, but the wounds were still untreated. "I want you two to be sure that Tempest doesn't move to much while I apply the bandages." She said. "If he moves to much, then I won't be able to properly set the gauze."

Clayton nodded slightly, and put pressure on one of Tempest's arms. "Ok, but be quick. I doubt Tempest'll wake up soon, but you never know." He said. "Knowing Tempest, he would reject the bandages and let the wounds heal on their own." The unicorn then smirked slightly at the idea. He knew how stubborn his friend could be.
