so, with HASBRO going on a rampage through the fandom giving out C&D slips like they're pamphlets for a church, I'm going to make pony stuff without ponies.

 

I'm going to slightly change everything to where it's still MLP but legally speaking it's not MLP so HASBRO can't shut me down. i can do the names, but i need someone to come up with the designs, just like edit the visuals to where it's not noticeable but it's not copyright infringement or anything

They aren't going on a rampage dude. They took down one channel that had show quality animations that could be mistaken for the real thing, and negatively impact the show's image. I don't think you'll be in any trouble or encounter any issues. Just do what you were going to do.
