"A lake,huh?Mmm...it'll be fun "

She spreaded her wings,but then she stopped again

"Did you know what?Let's go walking.I wanns see more nature,and i can say that you want too "

They started to walk to the lake,while the birds were chigling

Embers smiled as he walked, nodding as he thought about lightwings mane. His face went up in red and he turned away, pretending to look for a bird that wasnt there. He sighed and kept walking as they walked out of the forest cover, he looked at the lake with a smile

When they reached the lake,the first thing that she has done was to look for a tree with a good shade,to sleep a bit,but then she saw that no one of the other trees were giving a good shade for Embers

"If you want to...you could come here...the shade is long enought to the two of us..."

Embers looked out at the lake with a huge smile. He chuckled and looked over at lightwing who was asking him something. He tilted his head as a bird flew past and droped his backpack, picking out an apple and nibbling on it before turning to lightwing and shrugging "Sure, why not?"

She let Embers to sleep under the shade.Their backs were together.

"Mmm...you know what?"

She pulls out an apple

"I'm hungry! Why don't eat an apple? "

She starts to munch an apple and to lean more on Embers's back...he seemed to do the same

"He's such a nice and fun guy.."

Embers smiled as he looked out at the lake, feeling lightwings warmth on his back as he looked out at the lake with a smile. He heard light say something and turned his gaze around to look at her "Hmmmm? Were you talking about me?" He said with a laugh as he looked at her

Lightwing looked at her

"Oh...i was talking?Sorry...i was just imiting sonepony i know..."

She winks at Embers

"What i was saying was that,you such a cool and nice guy.Just that...no cuddles or nothing else... "

She ate the full apple and stared at the lake

"I would try to make something..."

She started to make uncomprensible noises,and then,a duck appeared

"Oh my...and it worked!!!"

Embers laughed as he looked over at the duck, then to the sun as it was just starting to set into the lake. He smiled as he looked over at lightwing "I could really use some more cuddles though" He said with a grin as he closed his book and looked over at the duck with a smile

She gave him a challenging look

"Prove it!"

She made the duck go away,and then made a few cuddles with Embers.A few minutes later,Lightwing woke up,and ate another apple

"Now you have what you wanted You love my cuddles,isn't?"

She gave him a little smirk,showing that she was right

Embers blushed as he looked at the duck in the water before smiling and turning to light "Aye, I do love your cuddles, you warm, what can I say?" He said with a shrug, amazed that she had really come over and cuddled with him. He smiled as he pulled out a banana and ate it

She smirked again at him

"Do you want to know something?I've never reject a challinge.Even if it"s impossible "

She made again some whistles,and the a birdie came and stayed on her back

"Hello theere.Do you want to poke Embers for me?"

The bird seemed to respond,and then flew to Embers,and poked him lightly

Embers laughed as the bird poked him before grinning at lightwing "I gotta learn how to use this, then I can make them poke YOU" He said with a smile as he looked over at the sun. He glanced over to the lake and saw that the duck was still there, then looked back over to lightwing

She looked at him with a grin

"You can always dream,Embers "

She whislted again,and the bird flew again

"But there are thibgs that i can't do..."

She pokes his horn

"Per example...do magic...Even if i tried,i couldn't do magic...daw..."

She whistled again,and now the duck was the one who responded

"Can yiu...*starts to whisper something*?"

The duck aggreed and then the duck splashed water at Embers

"You kbow what?The wet mane really fits you "

Embers laughed as he shook his mane, he failed to get any water out of it. He sighed and looked over at lightwing with a smile "Oh? I always thought it looked better on you" He said with a smile as he sat down with his book, setting it a little bit away before looking at lightwing evily

She knew what was he doing to do...but she seemed to ignore it

"Mmm...maybe...but that doesn't fit me at all.Better on you,Embers"

She moved near the lake,ensuring that Embers was looking

"Oh!!!I just stepped wronf,and i'm going to fall on this lake!!!"

She threw herself to the lake,ensuring too that her mane was wet

"Well..now you can judge who's better with wet mane"

Embers chuckled as he layed back looking at the sky and seeing a few birds flying fast in the sky above. He smiled as he looked at the water, turning slowly orange under the setting sun. He looked over at lightwing and grinned "Aye, you look very nice with a wet mane" He said with a laugh

Lightwing blushed at that accomplishment,and then she shook her mane,and,surpringsly,it got all the water out of it

"You need....mmm...more style to make that "

She flew again next to Embers

"So...did you said that you wanted to learn how to talk with birds,right?Then this is the moment!"

Embers laughed as he looked over at lightwing "No, I think I have enuff new magic for today" He said with a smile as he shook his head and looked over at the sun setting "We might wanna head back, its gunna get cold soon, even for me because I have a wet mane" He said with a laugh

Lightwing looked at the sun

"Mmm...maybe you're right.It's time to come back!

They crossed again the forst,but now at a calmed pace

"So...did you lerned something new from me?Per example...I can call birds,you can stay on a cloud,etc..."

She looked again at Embers's face

"But ou learned to stop for a moment and to see the nature,s beauty....Tell me the truth...on your travels,Did you stopped any time to admire what surrounds you?"

Embers looked over at lightwing while he walked with a sad smile "1 time, 1 time I stoped, but that was with my sister.." He shook his head and looked infront of him "Never like this though, thanks for showing me" He said as he smiled and looked around, then over to lightwing

The birds were flying and cherring,whle the swift but soft wind was soaring on the forest...

"You're welcome..."

She started to look to the forest,and started to talk

"Sometimes,all the ponies think on progression,but what they don't do is to look for a moment around themselves"

She stopped and looked all around herself

"We can miss some of the most beautiful things on the world,simply because our mind wants to progress,witout really seeing the results of their actions..."

She starts to walk again at Embers's side

"But that's just my opinion...the opinion of a simple pegasi,who will never be heard by those ones..."

Embers nodded as he kept looking forward, not wanting to look over at lightwing for fear of blushing or worse "Yeah, I must say, over all my years of walking around the world, only 1ce I have truly stoped to look around me, and that was with the mare I loved most" He said as he glanced over at lightwing

She looked again at him

"Your sister,huh?"

She started to remember a pony from her past...

"There was a pony,who precisely taught me to be more natural...but he has been missing for years..."

She started to smile as he remembered

"His most famous quote was "Be Positive!"...and i've never stopped from being possitive since then..."

Embers smiled as he saw the house come into view. He looked over at lightwing with a huge smile on his face "Heh, True, but being positive is not always as easy as it seemes" He said as he walked inside and tossed his backpack in his room before looking over at lightwing

"Yeah...being possitive can be quite hard...but it's always better than be sad"

She saw her house

"Shouldn't we go entering?"

She oppened the house,and picked up a book

"Any ideas for a dinner,or I should make a surprise?"

She started to read the book
