Colorful Respawn 399 April 2, 2014 Share April 2, 2014 I was just wondering what it was like when you went and saw Equestria Girls at the theatre. Where their any other bronies there? Or mostly kids? Because I want to go see Rainbow Rocks when it comes out, but don't want to go if the theatre is going to be packed full of little kids.
An Old Head 4,816 April 2, 2014 Share April 2, 2014 I've not seen EqG in theatres, but allow me to offer some personal advice. Look for your local Bronies; they'd probably be up for going with you on its release date. See if there are any organised outings to the theatre for you to jump in on. It'd be a great way to meet new people as well as not feeling like you'll stand out. One thing to consider is that most Bronies will be seeing the movie very soon after its release date, so don't leave it too long! Or you might not encounter any Bronies at all. That'd suck. Ribbonfree 2,384 April 2, 2014 Share April 2, 2014 Yep, check your local meetup group if you have one. We had a specific date planned out for So Cal when the original came out and that's when pretty much all the area bronies went. Theater was mostly grown men shouting and laughing at all the stuff.
M'aiq the Liar 5,804 April 2, 2014 Share April 2, 2014 Check out the local meet up.com's, and if you go to a public school or college, see if it has a brony club. Oh, and avoid craigslist groups, they will buffalo bill you. http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/vera-yeoman-r5921Muh pleb tier OC .http://mlpforums.com/blog/1663/entry-12477-pony-waifu-wedding-13-maiq-x-fleetfoot/ MLP forum's #1 Fleetfoot fan also married to fleetfoot <
Scootalove 10,692 April 2, 2014 Share April 2, 2014 You could look for any local meetups where you live, there is a chance that you could encounter bronies where you live and you can go to a movie theater to see the movie with them. ReverseFaller 2,484 April 2, 2014 Share April 2, 2014 When I saw Equestria girls in theaters, the room was filled with 98% bronies. The other 2% would be parents bringing their little kids to go see it. Yeah, everybody was really nice. It was fun seeing other bronies in real life. (Well, asides from the ones I already know at school.) I can't wait to see Rainbow Rocks in theaters this fall! 1 Credit for the signature goes to Kyoshi
SveciaDash 365 April 2, 2014 Share April 2, 2014 (edited) I hope that I will finaly meet some other bronies when I go and see rainbow rocks. Otherwise I will just have to be that 18 year old at the kids movie giggling like a little girl Edited April 2, 2014 by SveciaDash 1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s_m-Ez3W5h4&index=1&list=FLLNWmj4RL7o54o2Txvsj8Ag
Unikitty 1,212 April 2, 2014 Share April 2, 2014 I met a relatively good friend whenI went to the first EG. There wasn't many people there, but it was nice to see people I could relate to. My suggestion is; go to the movie for the sake of seeing it. That way, you'll truly be there to enjoy it, and may even get some worth out of the exceptionally high prices of going to the cinemas. If you see other bronies, avoid latching on until the end of the movie. They're here to watch it, just like you. And just like any movie viewing, the last thing they(and you) will want is someone talking over it. At the end of the movie, if there is other bronies, tthey'll likely hang around a minute to discuss with each other about what they thought. Just stroll up and join in. If you don't see anyone doing so, see if there is someone(or few) who look to be the type of person you'd like to say hi to. I just about guarantee it will be worth it. Felix 1,363 April 2, 2014 Share April 2, 2014 Never done that before. However I really like the idea and am glad I saw this! I kind of wanted to do the same...I'm pretty nervous to though. I know no bronies in real life. A whole theater full...that'd be scary. 1 Credit to Kyoshi for the awesome signature!

Adorkable 2,737 April 3, 2014 Share April 3, 2014 There were several Bronies in the theater I went to when I seen Equestria Girls. I actually went and met a few of them later on, they had pony shirts too! It was fun. ^^
~Silver Essence~ 2,625 April 9, 2014 Share April 9, 2014 I haven't seen it there on person. But a friend told me it was cool, though, also he mentioned some immature bronies who ruined the fun for others, but it was okay.
