Most people dislike Merle Dixon in some way. He was a minor character until season three when he made his return, which made me happy. When he was being an asshole in season one, I kinda liked it, but then he had to get handcuffed and separated, which really made me mad because he didn't have any screen time pretty much. As I saw his face again in season three, I flipped out.

 

Everyone thinks he's a fool, asshole, and stuck up, but I liked that about him. And also, he redeemed himself in the end and still watched over his brother.

 

 

( P.S. I love his actor Michael Rooker. He played as Rowdy Burns in Days of Thunder and that's what I was named after. )
