Agreed. I was gonna say, Discord would be no match for Loki and i was going to go as far as saying Galactus. Discords powers are a real "eh" at this point.

I don't think Discord would stand a change against even Blackheart. Compared to several Marvel characters, his powers aren't really that impressive. Not to mention that Discord doesn't really fight seriously, compared to most Marvel villains who are hell-bent on killing their adversaries.

Heh, many ones lower than Blackheart would stomp him with ease. Discord is nothing against Blackheart.

Professor X melts his brain, Hulk uses Discord to wipe his ass, Ghost Rider destroys with Pennance Stare, Galactus blinks and Discord is wiped out, Living Tribunal thinks Discord is less than a dust mite, etc.

I'm just giving my opinion on what I think he could do, based on seeing what he's able to do.  Don't agree, thats fine, its my opinion.  Just because I think he can do it doesn't mean he really can, so I wouldn't say I'm "fan-wanking" him, which honestly is kinda rude man.  Calm down, just a friendly debate topic.

 

Also, Discord is based on Q, right?  Q is a supremely powerful being, so I can only assume that Discord is on the same level as he.  If Q wanted, wiping out the Universe wouldn't cause him much trouble, so again, I assume Discord can as well.

That's true, but you never really know.  Personally, I think Broly could beat Hulk, since he's got a few abilities that Hulk doesn't, though I could easily be wrong about that as well.  Hulks power with Banner's mind would easily wipe the floor with Broly.

 

As to Discord, again, it's an unknown.  He's the most powerful entity in MLP to date that we've seen, and we've never really gotten to see him cut loose.  Maybe he'd destroy the Marvel Universe, maybe not.  I doubt he'd try to though, so kind of a moot point.

Yeah, it took the power of every pony in Equestria to power Tirek up enough to where he felt safe betraying Discord, and it took the combined power of every pony+Discord to rival 4 Alicorns.  Alone, Discord is the most powerful being in MLP, the only thing that rivals his power are the Elements of Harmony and Rainbow Power.  Even then, the first time he was beaten, he had a back up plan in place to destroy the elements at their source and free himself.  Alicorn Absorbed Twilight could beat Discord, Equestria Absorded Tirek can be Discord.  Not even Two Alicorns working together could beat him, Luna and Celestia had to use the Power of the elements to win, and even then, all they did was lock him in place for a time.

 

Discord is powerful and crafty, he could beat most of the Marvel Universe.  Are there people out there stronger than him in the Marvel Universe?  Probably.  However, along with his own power, he can turn others to his cause with a touch.  It wouldn't be Discord V Marvel Universe, it'd be Discord and whoever was forced to join him V Marvel Universe.

 

He could win, he could lose.  We'll probably never know, cause it won't ever happen.

Discord was terrified of the Tatzlworm, a monster which was held off by Cadence and Twilight. No, he's probably the equivalent of...three alicorns maybe?

 

And as for mind control, a lot of people in Marvel can shake that off from far more competent psychics

Three Alicorns could probably beat Discord, agreed.  Still, that means it would take three Alicorns working together to beat one foe, still making Discord the most powerful single entity in MLP FiM.

 

How do you know how competent a psychic he is?  He seemed fairly competent when he turned the mane six into their opposites.  He didn't even need to touch any of them, except for Fluttershy, and I think given enough time he could have convinced her to turn as well.

The very fact that he had to use effort to mind wash Fluttershy is a pathetic feat. Compare that to someone like Fusion, who was capable of making someone think their neck was broken, Discord is pathetic

I am not downplaying. And as for Fusion, of course his powers were out of control, he was a villain and couldn't care less.

 

Discord isn't anywhere near the high mid tiers of Marvel, whom can put planets back together, vaporize your mind, and banish you to Hell

Discord could do any of those things.  If he can turn a normal world into a world where physics don't apply, pretty sure he can put a planet back together.  Change a person to be the exact opposite of what they are with a few words or a single touch?  He can probably vaporize a mind if he wanted to, but where would the fun in that be?  Banish a person to hell?  Tirek did that without even absorbing Discord's power, so I'm pretty sure that's in his repertoire as well.  So yeah, I still think you're attempting to downplay his abilities simply because you don't like him and want him to be weaker than he is.

Are you kidding?  It's much easier to destroy a mind outright than to turn it against it's own nature.  That takes a heck of a lot more power.

 

Tartaris is the supreme hell.  It's the black void that even the gods of Olympus didn't want to enter.  Only the greatest of heroes were able to go in and make it back out.

Discord, at his strongest, moved the sun and moon. That's star level, a little into Solar System at the speed he did it. He's only around quad digit mach in movement speed from punking Luna who flew to the earth from the moon in seconds.
At best, and I mean absolute best, Discord could win against Hulk. Everyone else punks him into oblivion. Among other things:

Competent marvel psychics think faster than light. Discord has no mind rape resistance, and definitely not on the level of anything that they can do. Xavier is capable of manipulating the mind of every human and mutant on the planet with absolute ease. With prep, he pushed 

A number of beings can manipulate energy pure energy, like Thor, Silver Surfer, phoenix,etc. All of them are fast enough to completely rip the energy from Discord and leave him a hollow void. All of them are strong enough to manhandle him without it.

There are beings that can manipulate souls, like Doctor Strange and Ghost Rider. They'd also be able to leave Discord a hollow shell.
