Scarlet says, putting their plates, already laden with the curly hayfries down, so that Times could put the haybacon on them. "I can't wait to see the look on Dae's face when she hears we're together. She'll be really happy"

Times drizzled a little BBQ sauce onto the haybacon and set the bottle aside. Times took the spatula and put 2 pieces on each plate. Times set the spatula down and looked at Scarlet. Times smiled and said "Wow... that is the first time I ever cooked something without burning it..."

Scarlet giggles and tickles him, "That's good love, next time I will teach you how to cook pancakes" She says, sitting down and taking a bite of the bacon, "oh wow! Honey, this is divine, just as good as uncle cooks it!" She says, taking another bite, "mmm soo good"

Times laughed and jumped back. "Don't do that I'm extremely ticklish" He said as he sat down, Times looked at her and said "okay, now you are just exaggerating..." Times said as he took a bite and swallowed. "Okay... I have to admit it is really good... " Times said before taking another bite.

Scarlet smiles and starts on her fries. "So, Times, I was wondering. What exactly started you having a crush on me? I mean for me, it was just how kind and cute you are, and the way you treated Serenity yesterday, I knew you were the one for me"

Times looked up at Scarlet and said "well, let me put it this way; Working in the shop, It isn't a rare thing that mares come in and flirt with me, and I always know why. "They are proud. I see them sometimes in my dreams, and Princess Luna makes it so that we can talk and be with each other for the night." She smiles, "Luna and I...well we've become pretty close friends through my dreams, one thing I love about her is her love and care for the little ones, specifically Serenity"

"sorry if I sound childish but... Lucky, I have never seen Luna in my dreams..." Times said before finishing one piece of the haybacon. Times put back on his glasses and thought to himself. The only time I have ever seen Luna was when my friend and I smashed through the castle window on accident...

Scarlet smiles, "I knew her since I was little and before my..before the accident. My parents used to do a lot of charity work, which the Princesses were involved in." She says with a smile, she wasn't quite ready to tell Times about the accident in which her parents died in, but she will when the time was right.

Times looked at her and said "Your parents sound like really good ponies... I wish I could have met them..." Times looked down and sighed. Times looked back up and He began to think about when he lost his Grandfather... Times shook his head and got his mind focused.

Scarlet holds onto Times' hoof, "There's somepony you lost and miss terribly, isn't there sweetheart?" She asks him gently, knowing full well how painful brining up long lost loved ones can be, "I..I can ask Luna to help you see him or her again in your dreams, if you want"

Times looked at her and said "yeah... I lost my Grandfather a few years ago... I just can't forget the last thing I had said to him... I was angry and I didn't mean it but..." Times started to tear up and Sabertooth walked up to Times and tried to jump into Times' lap to comfort him.

"I am sure your grandfather knows you didn't mean it, and that he still loves you. But you know something Luna told me when I was a filly, it was that we never truly lose our loved ones, because they stay with us, in our hearts." She says kissing him, "while you're at work, I can go to the Palace and ask if she can enter your dreams tonight, would you like that babe?"

Times heard what she had said and whispered something under his breath "Our dead are never dead to us, until we have forgotten them." Times looked up and gave a small smile. "Thank you, Scarlet.... Thank you." Times said before taking off his glasses and wiped away the tears.

Scarlet smiles, "I love you Times, and I will do anything to make you happy." she leans in and whispers, "anything" She then looks at the time, "you better go love, it's time to open the shop up and Daechiril is probably waiting for you to open it up for her to get what she needs."

Times put back on his glasses, smiled and nodded. Times got up and walked out to the living room and then to the shop. Times opened the storage room and quickly flew back and forth from the storage room and shop, bring out potions and setting them on a shelf behind the counter. Times closed and locked the storage room, Flipped the shop's sign to open, and unlocked the door.

Just in time as Daechiril and Serenity reached the front door. They walk in, Serenity was on a filly leash, and Daechiril smiles, "Remember Serenity, you may look but do not touch." Serenity nods and starts looking around.

Daechiril takes out her parchment which had her ingredient list on it, "Good morning mr Times, I was wondering if you had any of these ingredients?" She asks giving over the list to him.

Times looked at the list "Yes I believe I have all of the ingredients you need, and Its okay if she touches, If she breaks anything I'll be happy, I need to get rid of some of this stuff anyways." Times said before laughing, "Just give me a second and I will get what you need." Times walked into the house and walked to the kitchen. He opened the Pantry and at the back were many different ingredients. Times grabbed all the ingredients on the list and put them in a bag. Times walked back to the shop and set the bag on the counter.

"Oh these'll do perfectly, thank you, Serenity? Serenity? where are you angel?" Daechiril calls out,

"Over here mummy," she points to a beautiful necklace on on display that had a crescent moon shaped pendant "Can I have this mummy? please!?"

Daechiril's eyes misted over and she smiled, "Oh thank you mr Times, I can sense that this is not just kindness from your own heart, would I be right?" She says, as she tries to get Serenity to settle down, "what do you say to the kind stallion, sweetheart?"

Serenity looks up at him, a sparkle in her eyes, "Thank you mr Times, sir"

Times smiled and looked down at Serenity and said "your welcome" Times looked at Daechiril "Please just call me Times, also Serenity is allot like me when I was a Colt, I just want to show her the kindness that I wasn't shown." Times said as he looked at Serenity.

Dae smiles, "I see, but I know Scarlet's had an effect on you and is that.." she sniffs the air, "Oh you sly stallion, you!" She says with a big smile, "Why didn't you tell me you and Scarlet are a couple? I know that smell of haybacon and hayfries anywhere. It's just how her uncle cooks them"
