"yeah, We got together." Times said as he scratched the back of his head. Times smiled nervously and looked to the side. Inside the house Sabertooth could smell Serenity and ran up to the shop door. Sabertooth scratched on the door and Times turned around.

Daechiril smiles, "I knew it! So you know what that means, Serenity is your godfilly too." 

"I have a goddaddy now?"

"Yes sweety?"

"YAY!"

 

Scarlet sees Sabertooth scratching at the door, "You want to play with Serenity, don't you sweety?" she asks him kindly, scratching him behind the ears.

Times looked at Serenity and said "I guess I am..." Sabertooth began to whimper and looked at Scarlet. Times looked at the door and then back to Serenity "I bet you know who that is..." Times said with a smile. Times started to think about how it would be like being a father.

"Sabertooth? YAY!" Serenity says excitedly.

Scarlet smiles and opens the door, holding Sabertooth in her arms, "Why don't you come out to the back and play with him sweety, mr Times doesn't quite like him being in the shop."

"Can I go mummy? please!?"

Daechiril smiles, "As long as Times is alright with it, yes"

"Its fine with me" Times said as he looked at Sabertooth, who was eager to play with Serenity. Times smiled and Sabertooth gave out a joyful bark. Times scratched Sabertooth behind the ear and Sabertooth began to wag his tail faster. Times chuckled at how much Sabertooth was squiming

"Ok sweety, you be good for your godparents" Daechiril says smiling

"I will mummy, I promise" she says as she takes Scarlet's hoof and walks out the back with her.

Daechiril smiles, "Before I go Times, there is something I need to know, do you know of Scarlet's past? all of it?"

Times faced Daechiril "I don't know her entire past, but it wouldn't change anything. She could have been an art thief or a mass murderer, and it wouldn't make me love her less..." Times said somewhat quietly but still loud enough for Daechiril. Sabertooth looked at Serenity and gave out a joyful bark.

(ugh sorry for the wait, I just had a really bad crying fit before)

 

Daechiril smiles, "So you know she was born a colt and that she used to cut? and that her parents died in an accident when she was still a little filly?" She asks.

 

Serenity hugs Sabertooth, and just snuggles into him.

"yeah..." Times said nodding. Sabertooth licked Serenity's face and gave out another joyful bark. Times looked down at his hooves that were on the counter and said "... But like I said, it doesn't change the fact that I love her, and I will always love her." Times looked up.

Daechiril smiles, "That is good, she needs a good pony to love her. Would it be alright if I left Serenity here with you and Scarlet, the potion process is pretty dangerous, as is the effects if it goes wrong, Shifter can...well, he can turn pretty nasty" She asks.

 

Serenity giggles and continues to snuggle him, nearly falling asleep.

Times smiled and said "Don't worry she is in good hooves." Times looked at Daechiril and asked "If you don't mind me asking, What is the potion you need for?"  

 

Sabertooth played with Serenity some more before giving out a puppy yawn. Sabertooth looked at Serenity and wagged his tail.

"I know, I trust you and Scarlet. Well you see..my husband Shifter. He's half changeling, and the potion is keep his changeling side at bay, otherwise he gets really weak and must feed off of a pony's emoitons, and he can get really nasty and mean in the weakened state. Oh and I'll take her necklace home with me now, for safe keeping."

Serenity was asleep, snuggling Sabertooth, Scarlet smiles and gently picks them up and puts them in her and Time's bed, she tucks them in and kisses their foreheads, "Sleep well little ones"

Times nodded and said "Okay, let me go get it." Times walked into the house and saw Scarlet and whispered "Daechiril wants to take Serenity's necklace home for safe keeping" Times quietly walked to Serenity and removed the necklace. Times walked quietly to Daechiril and set the necklace on the counter. "Take good care of it."

Scarlet nods and kisses him before he goes back to the shop. 

Daechiril gently takes it from him, "thank you Times, it may not seem like it, but she loves this necklace, but I believe it is because it has Princess Luna's cutie mark as the pendant, and also that it as a gift from you. I'll come pick her up later today."

She leans over the counter and kisses him on the cheek in a friendly way then leaves the shop.

Times nodded and sat down on the chair behind the counter. Times grabbed the book he had under the chair and began read. The book didn't have any words on the cover and the cover was red. There was a picture of a clock on the cover and on the first page after the cover it said 'History of the Hay family'  The book was about 1200 pages long and Times was on page 546.

Scarlet smiles and walks out to the shop with a mug of coffee for herself, and a glass of juice for Times. She places them on the counter and hugs him from behind, "what are you reading there love?" she asks him, sipping her coffee. she then kisses him."Slow morning huh?"

Times looked at her and said "Its book on my families history, so far I have made it to as far back as 1000 years before Celestia and Luna became princesses, to my ancestor Chronus Dial." Times looked forward and said "Yeah, but some days are slow, some days it is extremely busy."

Scarlet hugged him "Wow, that's cool. The only interesting thing about my family is that my aunt and uncle own a famous restaurant. Apart from that, nothing much else really. Though, there's a legend that Daechiril is related to the long lost sister of the Royal Sisters"

Times looked at her "Well according to this book... and 12 others... My... uhh lets just say my deca-Grandfather, was a unicorn knight who defended Equestria before Celestia and Luna, but it seems he was always removed from most of the history books... and wow a lost sister of the royal sisters, but wouldn't she be an alicorn then?"

Scarlet shakes her head, "She is half Changeling, remember. and a very distant relative, although she does look very similar to the long lost sister" Scarlet says, "oh yeah, this juice is for you love, I thought you might like something to drink" she says, giving him the glass of juice.

Times smiled and kissed her "Thank you, and I thought her husband was half changeling, does that mean Serenity is a quarter changeling?" Times asked before taking a sip of the juice, He swallowed and set the juice onto the counter. Times looked back at his book and put the bookmark in it, before closing.

"Oh I thought you meant Serenity, but yes, Shifter is the half changeling. But like I said, it's a legend, there could be some truth to it, but we may never know." She hugs him again, "some ponies may think that the band is the greatest thing in my life, but really, the greatest thing in my life was meeting you"

Times blushed and scratched the back of his head "Really or are you just saying that?" Times asked as he set his book on the counter. I think I already know the answer to that question but I want to see what she says.. Times thought before looking back at Scarlet.

"Yes, Really. You silly filly" she says with a giggle and kisses him once more. "Would you be alright to look after Serenity while she is asleep love? I still need to see Luna about helping you see and speak with your grandfather again" she asks, looking around the shop.

"Sure, today is probably going to be really slow, mostly because its Saturday." Times said before standing up and walking into the house. Times didn't have to worry about anyone breaking into the store. The store had reinforced glass so nopony could break in and Times would know if something is missing.
