movies/tv So, I just watched Corpse Party: Tortured Souls...

...holy shit. 

 

Like, I thought it was a decent OVA, but damn...it's violent and depressing. This show makes Elfen Lied look like Chobits. Like many other people who watched it, I wish it was longer so I had more time to actually get to know and care about the characters. Other than that though, I did enjoy it, but it has flaws. What did you guys think of it?

My brother played the games and the Blood Drive ending is just...brutal

 

I thought it was a bit too dark at some points I only know because of the OVA since I never played the games at all

I haven't played the games either, but I might check them out. I wouldn't be surprised if the games somehow manage to be worse, though...

Yeah the anime OVa of Corpse is okay but the game is much better in the name of content. Multiple endings you can get by doing something completely wrong or even endings where something that killed can continue the story but mostly the story has a fixed end to continue to the next chapter. Corpse Party Blood Drive (As my sister explained a tiny bit) is the ending to the Book of Shaodws in which

 

Two of the Femal main characters find a book in which has a spell that can bring their friends back. Wanting to see their friends they set up the ritual by placing the three paper dolls two of them with their name and one of them with the dead friends name.

 

Using some of their blood to start the ritual, they bring their friend only with one problem their friends face is gone, a minute or second later the faceless friend started to scream and weird runeic symbols appeard killing the faceless friend. When that happen one of the girls was soon marked on her legs and arms with the same symbols and soon saw blades cut into her arms and legs.  Knowing what was hapening the book was calling for a human sacrifice. The paper doll of the friend burned up and the one girls paper doll was on fire. 

 

As it slowly started to burn the other girl was trying to put it out when another rune sybol appeared on the neck of the other girl. Another saw blaw blas slowly started to cut through the  girls neck very slowly. With all hope lost and not being able to stop it both girls started crying until the sister of one of the girl come in and use holy water to stop the fire saving the girl. In a peaceful resolve that soon turned grim as the sisters head came off in a bloody explosion.

That ending you described is brutal! Despite finding this series disturbing...I think I'm gonna check it out lol. Do I have to download some of these games or can I buy physical discs?

I believe you have to download the games there isn't any on disk, they are for PSP and you can find them on the PSN store and download from your console to your PSP

She's right, you got to download them to your PSP by first downloading them on you PS3 then connecting your PSP to your PS3 with a cable so it can then recieve the download so you can play it on your PSP.
