Ponies react to our world?

How would the ponies react if you showed them everything our world has to offer? Things like our economy, cultures, etc. Also things like the weather and how destructive it can be. Maybe how Earth was formed and how our sun is going to die in several million years? You also show them our fandom and what we bronies do, just wanted to through that one out there for fun.

I figure they'd at least tolerate the massive differences, but probably consider it out of their league to help or even try to visit except for novelty things for them like technology. Besides that they'd just stay on Equestria and we'd be their 'oh god why' media. Sort of like reality TV on a global scale.

Well Twilight, would most likely be having a ball, on learining about this new world, and what we have. She would probably consider a lot of our things like technology and stuff, to be a very interesting type of magic, and want to learn how it works.

 

Applejack might enjoy to see our farm land, but might have a hard time getting used to how the weather is not controlled here, and could totally ruin all her crops.

 

Fluttershy would just die. Sorry Fluttershy.

 

Rainbow Dash would probably hang out in all the entertainment stuff of the world, and love to watch stuff like nascar and stuff.

 

Rarity would probably love to see and learn about our fashion, and probably go to the mall a lot.

 

Pinkie Pie would probably have a ball, and just have fun. She would probably get scared from the bad in the world, but probably find a way to ignore it all, and have fun. Maybe she can help fluttershy to survive in this world

In all seriousness, Rarity would probably be a bit off-put by how weird we'd look compared to them, but would ultimately try and look past that. She'd probably spend a lot of time making us look less hideous I can see her spending a lot of time at the mall, or trying some of our more formal cuisine as well

1. Give the stare to the general secretary of NATO and start WW3.
2. Hide in the darkness and give the stare to random people.
3. Visit the jungle and chill out with hippos.

I have a strong feeling that Twilight would really get a bang out of the magick that humanity is rediscovering. Although not as powerful as unicorn/alicorn magic, it can still be pretty powerful in it's own right. And maybe, she would make a servitor to assist her, so Spike could get a break xD I also think she would be very interested in David Copperfield.

 

Applejack would shake her head in shame at all the automated farms. "Ya'll never get any quality if you do everythin' the lazy way!"

 

Rainbow Dash would be very interested in the air force, blue angels, NASCAR, etc.

 

Pinkie Pie would probably be a regular on some meme site like cheezburger (I don't think she would get involved with 4chan though, ppl can get pretty hostile there). She would also visit hospitals, to get the patients to smile.

 

Fluttershy would probably feel right at home in Japan, since Shinto is their main religion, and they have a deep respect and admiration for nature. Also, their quiet, polite, formal nature would put Fluttershy at ease (well maybe not so much the formality, but the other stuff would).

 

Rarity would become fascinated with the allure of Hollywood and fame. Although she would probably end up finding out that they're a bunch of phonies and end up denouncing Hollywood.

Well, Flutters doesn't like loud noises. She also loves being around nature. Living in Japan would allow her to do both. Although, it depends on which part of Japan she lives in. If she lives in one of the more traditional areas, like Hokkaido, she would be surrounded by nature practically everywhere she goes, and things would be pretty quiet. If she went to a major shopping district like Shibuya, she would have to deal with street vendors using megaphones to promote their products.

I wasn't discriminating Japan. I was complimenting Japan on how quiet a lot of the areas can be. Flutters is quiet and polite, she would get on great with a lot of the Japanese. Yeah, other countries have state parks and stuff, but I think Japan would have the most to offer a quiet, shy, nature lover.

That's true. Although I thought most Japanese these days learned English early in their education. There would be enough people understanding her to give her directions to places and stuff, and I think most shopkeepers would know English as well.

 

Although, if Japan wouldn't be a good option, she could probably fit right in in Ireland. Ireland just has this magical aura around it, with lots of beautiful scenery. Many tourists have said that being in Ireland is unlike anything else.

Too lazy to write each one's point of view on our world, but:

 

A. They would feel somewhat curious at our "fandom" and, yet, at the same time, they would feel appreciated.

B. When they look upon the world, they would probably see us as..............."monsters".

C. When they visit, our governments would confiscate them, like they do in every "unknown" or "mysterious" phenomenon, and demand answers (if you are a sci-fi fan, you'll understand what I mean).

D. Run for dear life back to peaceful Equestria

1. Its approximately 5 BILLION years away
2. After they had been shown the fandom they would be creeped out, except Pinkie as she once said "Do you guys ever get the feeling that we are being watched by some cult some where that has small statues of us? Or is it just me?"
