Alex Side got Bullied

So about 3 months ago something happened to my gmail that forced me to get a new one.

That means I lost all the people who I subscribed to on YouTube.

So after I created my new one I not only did I come to this wonderful forum I also made a brand new YouTube account as well.

I tried to resubscribe to all the channels I had been subscribed to before.

I forgot about my all time favorite Brony commentator.

Alex Side.

For most of you who know Alex Side he's a French Brony who hasn't really come out and expressed his feelings about the comments in his videos.

That is until I came across account again, resubscribed, and looked through what I missed.

I looked at one of his videos and one of them was about him being bullied in the comments where someone threatened to kill him.

While this is very, very sad. And he certainly did not deserve the treatment he got in anyway, it really does cement rule one of the internet, people are going to be assholes, people are going to hate you without reason, but you never feed the trolls. I just hope that he can rebuild from this, and move on with this career.

Don't mean to sound insensitive, but...

I'm pretty sure the majority of people on thuis site have been bullied alot harder about their bronyism, and I doubt that they've felt to make a video vlog about it.

Hell, I get a few "I'll kill you, f*ggt horsef*cker" every month.

 

You are going to come across a hater as your time as a brony. It's ineviatable. ESPECIALLY if you create fan content.

You have to develop hard skin if you want to be in this fandom, or hide your love for candy colored equines completely.

If you let the haters get to you, they win.

 

Words are also, in fact, completely meaningless.

It sucks that the guy let it hit him so hard, but that's the internet. It's a cruel, random place full of people who hate us and have the vocabulary of a middle schooler who started cussing for the first time.

The worst they can do is call us names behind a pale blue screenn.

 

I'mk not sh*tting on the guy, of course.

Well, if someone attempts to become a youtube celebrity, they are subject to hatemail and cyberbullyin. I dunno what else to say,  just what another celebrity said being one of the most famous youtube celebrities in latinamerica, those people are no nearly as strong or harmful as you think they are, just ignore them or delete their comments, they'll always claim that they got you, but in reality, they feel defeated

You know, I have two brony related shirts that I wear sometimes but here's the thing, When I wear them around people here they don't say or give me any weird looks at all. So my guess is here where I live people don't really know what a brony is.

Alex Side is one of my favorite reactors. Don't see much of his reaction since one animationer reported him for react on his video cos he accuse him of stealing his views which is pathetic and one guy agree with animationer put up a blog accusing Side of stealing views and money, how can you get paid by reacting and how does he steal views, sure he help whoever he react to get them more view. He got builled before. I just don't get some people sometimes.
