movies/tv Dragonball English dubs info for me

So, I found out a while ago about different English dubs for Dragonball, but I want to know averything about them, since, as I live in Latinamerica, I don't know about why the different dubs, where they transmitted each, etc etc etc. I'm curious because, since watching MLP, I want to know more about the Oceandub one, since, judging by the videogames, the FUNimation one is the most well known.

Ocean did the original dub for Dragon Ball & Dragon Ball Z. About 1/3rd through DBZ, Funimation was given the rights to the series and started doing their own dub with new music, scripts, etc. The Funimation version is also uncut as the Ocean dub removed some of the blood and violence. Ocean continued dubbing the series for British & Canadian markets while Funimation finished the series airing in America.

 

Eventually Funimation went back and dubbed the original Dragon Ball as well as GT.

 

Most people like Funimation's dub, as do I.

There's also the new and improved Funimation dub, the kai dub. The Kai Dub has different voice actors for some and the returning voice actors sound different. The script and music has also been retooled, cutting out most filler. I like the Kai Dub
