What's it like being a cop? Is it a good job? Is it ok? Is it perhaps, fun? I don't know what I want to do yet as a job. Deep deep deep deep deep deep down inside I want to be an author. But on the way on the outside is being a cop fun ish.

The only problem is i got to be careful, once someone i pulled r for speeding pointed a gun at me! I taser-ed him. the gun was a pellet pistol, and it had 7 led pellets with needle tips in the clip....

I am a Soldier serving the United States in the Michigan Army National Guard. I have been deployed multiple times, and I am now heading off to college in five days. I'm proud to be a Brony!

lol, glad to help. One of my friends wasn't so lucky though. It was a real gun that time... and he didn't have enough time to draw a weapon..... A lot of bad things happen to police. go to the link in my signature. (if its not there, I'm still updating it)

wow! good job! That definitely counts.

Yea, over in Northern Afghanistan. Although as an MP the deployment was all convoy ops, or guarding the fob, we didn't get to go outside the wire very often.

Is it really as dangerous as people tell me it is over there? 0-0

Yea. And then the next day they are gone, and there are only friendly villager kids running around. And then the day after that some haji is mortaring your FOB, or drives a VBIED into the front gate.

I'm attached to an MP unit. My MOS is a 25U, I got to go on a retrans mission a few times while I was deployed, didn't go so very well one time. Still got the scar and bullet to prove that.....Anyway, I enjoy what I do.

I do plan to do military training when I move back to Sweden (this fall) . And who knows maybe I will end up serving  in the army for my king and fatherland. It is my and every other persons duty after all.

How it currently works in Sweden is you do ''GMU'' grundlig militär utbildning = basic militaly training (boot camp would be a good example) for about 3 months I think, and after that you can either move on and do non related service stuff or you can talk with a yrkesvägledare ( basicly someone to discuss a possible future in the military)

And you can either get a job as administrator of some sort or alot of other options

I feel obligated to serve for my country for all it has done to me.

Altho being patriotic in Sweden is somewhat seen as racist.

''Ja, jag vill leva jag vill dö i Norden'' When I sing my national anthem I mean it.

And I should mention that I have a deep respect for people Serving in the military/police or any other job that involves helping people.

I'm not officially in the Military yet, but I'm going to be attending the United States Naval Academy, so I'll be an active Officer in the Navy when I graduate.
