I'm having trouble finding tutorials that sort of take you through the process. Most I find are either drawing specific characters, or how to to draw certain parts in different ways. Anyone know any good tutorials or can at least give advice?

I'm atill a beginner when it comes to drawing anime, and this probably isn't very good of a suggestion, but have you tried using Manga University? It's basically a website that helps to teach you how to draw anime.

Just remember, practice practice practice!

I think it was Meghan McCarthy who stated that you'll have a thousand bad drawings before you have a good one.

Just believe in yourself, you can do this! :)

My advice is to draw the outlines then fill in the details. You know those pictures that show you how to draw and they have the "skeleton" laid out? Always draw those before doing the body. It helps you plan out your drawing.

Hello @Ryzu!  Just so you are aware, I have moved your thread the to Creative Resources section, as you seem to be asking for helping in the drawing process and I believe your thread might receive more reception here.

As far as drawing anime, I suppose that depends on what sort of style you are looking to attempt since there are a plethora of anime that vary drastically in the visuals department.  My first question would be what type of anime do you enjoy watching (this would also include manga as well)?  Depending on what you like, I would take a closer look at how everything is presented in those shows and see what works and simply practice from there.

But the most important thing is to just practice and to have fun with it, for that is the only way to improve.
