Exactly the point. However, I think I'm actually wrong about the castle's location, considering where the castle sprouted, the area was isolated. The library stood between two houses, as far as I can remember.

LOL technically Ponyville is a kingdom. Maybe it'll be like the English Parliament?

 

There's a Queen, House of Commons, House of Lords. I don't mind seeing a political system like that in "Twi's Kingdom."

 

I was going to say where are some UK bronies? or other countries that still have the monarchy.

 

It's honestly too early to say but I don't see Mayor Mare being pushed out or anything.  Equestria's governing structure has always been weird and never really fully explained (and why would it afterall, kids not going to watch about a show about governing politics, I only want to see how exactly Equestria's system is built).

 

It can't be based on the UK (not in how it functions in reality that is, what with West Minister holding the real governing power and the Royals holding the figurehead power and representation).  The royals in Equestria, seem to have some real form of governing power based on Celestia having more direct influences over ponies.
