culture Shock in the real world!

If the Mane 6 came to our world, which one of them would experience culture shock the most?

 

I believe it would be Fluttershy cause of our major hunting and fishing stores and hunting seasons. What do you guys think?

Well, if Dash came here as a pony her entire reason for existing, and her whole goal in life doesn't exist. There are no real flying sports, or teams. And I don't exactly see her getting along with fighter pilots or other arial acrobatic teams as their entire flight is based on having a machine. And that's if the FAA doesn't perma-ground her.

 

I think Pinkie Pie and Twilight would have the easiest time adjusting to our real world. Twilight is/was the ever curious schoolar, and a chance to explore new worlds and cultures would come as a delight to her. And Pinkie is Pinkie, and I doubt anything could really shock her.

True. I was just thinking about her love and protection for the animals. She might feel sad for the animals that we kill in the wild. Also all the taxidermy that goes on too.

To be honest, I don't think they will be able to survive or cope with the terrible day to day events that is happening in our world. Death, chaos, destruction, suffering, hunger, plague, the list goes on, and on.

 

A cool idea yes, but ask yourself this: 'Will it really be worth it?' Yes you can do a 'My little Dashie' but in the end, the results will still be the same.

 

To be honest, I would rather not let them come to our world for their safety.

The though of me eating any of the mane 6, or ponies in the MLP world, due to recent events of Horse meat in fast food productions....

I think only Rarity wouldn't be affected too much by the culture shock...

I don't quite agree, and especially for Twilight.

In my opinion, Twilight is only interested by magic. As it doesn't exist in the real world, I doubt she would find her place.

I think it would affect Twilight Sparkle the most seeing just how much friendship betrayal there is here as a matter of course.  Then there is the internet.  She would be like, wow, every book known to man times a million is available there... What is this?  Whimper.  Rage. 

 

Then you have Fluttershy who finds out animals are much DUMBER here than they are there and when she tries to talk to a snake, it bites her.

 

Then you have Pinkie Pie reacting to a world with a lot of Cranky Doodle Donkies and worse, who might even hurt her if she got up into their faces and did her thing.

 

Rarity, RD, and AJ could handle it more or less fine even though AJ would give a lot of glares and scowls.

Probably a toss up between Applejack and Fluttershy. Applejack would be shocked and horrified at the food industry and how we play god with GMO's, pump crops full of pesticides and farm animals full of growth hormones and anti biotics. Fluttershy I am sure is familiar with carnivorous and omnivorous species but would be appalled at the treatment of farm animals in cramped/unsanitary conditions and also wouldn't like how many people hunt simply for sport instead of food, and probably wouldn't like sports like bull fighting.

All very good points! I think Rarity would also be appalled by the street fashions and want to try to fix it but in the end get made fun of and ridiculed for it. But let's be honest, if they did come here, don't you think the entire brony community would all come together to make sure their stay is safe and fun and help explain our world to them so they can better understand people's reactions to them and our way of life? I think our community loves the mane 6 enough to do so.

Fluttershy would experience the culture shock due to how some people treat animals and how we consume them or kill them for food. I could imagine her reaction to that.
