gaming My opinion on Modern Warfare 3

First of all, im not trolling, this is my own opinion, after 7 hours of playing it.
A friend challenged me to beat it on Veteran, so i took the challenge, i must say, it's easier than the first mission of DMC3 on easy with Agni & Rudra, reminder, this is the first time i play a new CoD game.
The game is not challenging, it's annoying because of the glitches.
Glitches everywhere.

Here's a list of the glitches i had:

When i was in the mission of protecting Soap, i started getting shot when i was behind the door Price had to break, that means, i was getting shot without even getting spotted.

Grenades get stuck in the door before you capture that guy that tells you a hiding spot of Makarov (Can't remember his name, a weird name, not the bomb dealer).

The part you are going in the sewers to capture the bomb dealer, if you go first in the hallway, the event of the friendly soldier falling in a trap will not occur, and the battle music starts but no enemies appear, and all of the NPC's get stuck, this means, i had to load the checkpoint to advance.

At the start of the mission that you have to destroy the submarine, when i went to the surface to start the battle, the sound got stuck, it was some annoying as fuck noise, it could only be fixed resetting the game.

When i was escaping with Price and Soup in the sand storm, i killed an enemy and this same one stuck without animation (the jesus pose) and started getting closer to me and it killed me.

Maybe i got another glitch, but i can't remember now.
And things i didn't like:
No graphic improvement.
No difference between any of the past games, not even in gameplay, just more weapons.
Unoriginal music.

Basically, MW3 is a mod, not a game.
I didn't want to make a reference to piracy, but i downloaded this game instead of purchasing it, i had my doubts about this game, and now i'm glad i didn't pay 60 DOLLARS for it.


In conclusion: I don't like MW3, it's a total scam and a worthless game.

Call of Duty can be a fun game, but it truly does suck... Each one that comes out is practically the same game

 

However, I remember staying up till 2 AM playing MW2, pissing people off by noob tubing and using riot shields while having a blast

ITT: OP complaining about singleplayer, everyone else complaining about how it's the "same game."

 

IMHO, MW3 is fun and a definite improvement over MW2 in terms of balance and over BOPS in terms of gameplay mechanics and game speed.

IMHO, MW3 is fun and a definite improvement over MW2 in terms of balance and over BOPS in terms of gameplay mechanics and game speed.

 

They should make an update of MW2 instead of making a game with that update.

I can completely agree. I blew through the campaign on Veteran with ease.

 

The game is not worth a $60 value.

 

There's nothing different between Modern Warfare 3 and any of the prior 3 Call of Duty games. In fact I was kinda hoping that by now there would be a Modern Warfare 2 Anniversary joke (based of Halo Anniversary's old/new graphics change option) displaying how identical the graphics are.

• Story is generic and only there to guide you to the next firefight
• NPC AIs are brain dead
• Multiplayer has yet again been recycled and only got worse
• Campaign gameplay is more focused on slow-mo set pieces rather than giving an interesting or remotely challenging experience
• Spec Ops missions are recylcled campaign levels
• BUGS...EVERYWHERE, GET EM OFF OF ME

Oh and of course there's the brilliant Elite feature that no one asked for yet seeing Activision tossed in there realizing that the kids of our generation will pay for anything that says "Call of Duty" on it.

 

Let's face it. It's more entertaining and time efficient to flush your money down the toilet than to spend it on a Call of Duty game.
