I must say that I am not sure why you say that you need to work on expressions, as Rarity's is spot on and appropriate for the scene.  Why is she even there?!  At least Sweetie Belle is doing what she does best: being adorable.

 

Anyway, this is a very well done drawing and I am sure whomever you are trading with will absolutely love this.  The detailing in the vehicle is rendered beautifully and the metallic visuals come across nicely.  And do I spy a 'Luna' license plate?  Even better!

 

What more can I really say other than you did quite an exceptional job with this one?  The details are great, expressions spot on (especially so for Rarity) and it is composed quite nicely.  The only thing that throws me off is that the length of the car seems rather short, as I feel that some of the back end should be seen behind Rarity, but this is just a nitpick. Nicely done!

I probably should have explained the scene some more:

 

Sketchywolf-13 wanted a drawing of his OC ( named Sketchy, in the middle) and Rarity. He wanted rarity to be horrified of a dirty/messed up car part that he hands her while he's working on the car. The car is actually his real life car, a 1978 Lincoln Continental, which he names La Luna, I believe (hence the Luna plates).

 

Anyway sketchywolf13 has some got awesome pony art and the style he draws cars in is very polished. They appear to have a "professional" quality about them, in my opinion. He's got some great style I can't wait to see the twilight pic he makes me!

 

And there might be something a little off about the car perspective (that's what bothers me about this) but it might be right, I'm not sure. I didn't want to draw the back of the car (it would be too dark and kinda take away from the scene), so I tried to cover it by using a combo of having the door open, rarities placement behind the door, and her big tail!

I personally don't care for Sweetie Belle's expression but the work is quite magnificent. You should work for IDW.

Actually, I find it quite hysterical to see what happens if Rarity gets car oil all over her.
