I earned up enough bits to hire some mercenary's, (thats where the other oc's come in) and we set out to find an enchant artifact that could make me the most famous magician that equestria has ever known, and at the same time daring do, and trixie are hunting for this same artifact?

That ain't gonna around here dude. Your character is already a Mary Sue at the start of the RP, meaning it's pretty powerful and all you're doing is finiding an artifact that will make it more powerful. Makes for a boring RP unfortunately.

@@C. Thunder Dash, It seems I have neglected to clarify that my oc's magic is sub-par at best. He just knows how to use those spells, witch have quite a strain on his magic. Also I am hiring mercenary's to steel something that should be in a museum before daring do can stop us, were not exactly the good guys here.

Still, that won't make for an enjoyable RP because most OCs are good around here. You're making them bad.

@@C. Thunder Dash, I'm not making them bad. I am inviting those that are capable of bad to participate. If someone's oc would not find themselves there than I assume that they wouldn't go to this rp. I did just think it up so I can keep brain storming if this really is a bad idea. How about we are all captive in a haunted mansion desperately trying to escape?

Too many escape/survival rps around. How about a simple SOL RP. Not many of those around anymore. Besides, anything could happen in one.

@@C. Thunder Dash, I'm not familiar with the SOL acronym, but if its a subdue meat and greet than I was actually going to start one of those later on, so the oc's have something to talk about. It was going to be call'd 'Backstage with silver tongue'. It looks like we are getting somewhere, if we just keep pitching ideas. How about a misery?

The thing is, you can't always make RPs centered around your OC. It will quickly become boring. You need to focus on the people around you. SOL RPs are all about everypony's lives.

You won't do that. Tell you what, move your OC from the Equestrian Empire Section and put it in the regular section. That way, it would be better, because you can RP whatever way you want. Anyway, I'm up for a SOL.

Well, what I was thinking was that my OC Thunder Dash meets your OC. Your OC seems a bit prideful there so Thunder could teach him a thing or two about humbleness. Maybe have him showing off because of his inflated ego. I can host it if you'd like.

But (and I mean this in the most honest of ways) if you have a more original idea we can use that.

Yeah, and you put yours in "Advanced". Advanced RPs are very long. Actually set your character in Ponyville. You can copy and paste the post. I made it in the regular RPing section where there's only a 200 character limit.
