What's your opinion on real life superheroes?

I've been reading a bit about "real life superheroes" and, I'm not gonna lie, I'm pretty sure we've all fantasised about being a superhero at one point. But would you become a "real life superhero"?

I think it's a terrible idea. I'm sure they (mostly) have noble intentions, but they get in the way. They go into situations without knowing all the facts, and without any context, which can put them and others in a lot of danger.

If I say someone that was in real life danger, then yes, I would more than likely try to help them out in anyway I could. But as the above poster said I wouldn't just go around looking for trouble, and as the above poster said, if you get yourself in too deep of a siutation that you know nothing about then you could get yourself and those around you killed.

After watching both KickAss one and two, I can say that I would never become a super hero ever. Even with how semi-realistic those movies were, reality is even more dangerous and out to get you. I would rather not have to ask the EMT to throw away my bloody super hero costume after I got stabbed.

Wait, I'm a little confused.  When you say you've been reading about "real life superheroes," do you mean actual real people that do heroic acts?  Obviously, the term "real life superheroes" is itself an oxymoron.  The word "super" implies superhuman powers, which is impossible, of course.  The most realistic depiction of a superhero I've ever seen is Unbreakable.  That's how it would probably be in real life.  Anyway, if I could be a real life superhero, I would definitely want to.

I think they are pretty noble willing to risk it all to protect others I wish to do the same but I have no plans on being a superhero I'm just going to become a Cop instead
