My Favourite Mane 6 Pony: Fluttershy

How did you find MLP Forums?: I've been extremely lonely and I figured that signing up for a few forums might help.

How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: I honestly can't remember. It happened a few years back when the show was still starting and the fandom was just beginning to blow up. I was aware of it and was curious but didn't bother to check it out. Eventually I watched it and I guess I must have thought it was good enough to keep watching, and "Party of One" was the episode that convinced me that this show was something worth paying attention to.

I've never been very good at talking about myself. Well, I'm a big fan of animation and I spend most of my free time either watching cartoons, listening to music (prog rock is my favorite genre), or playing games. My favorite cartoons at the moment are MLP:fim, Adventure Time, Wander over Yonder, and Xiaolin Showdown. My favorite games that I've been playing the most lately are Halo: Custom Edition, F.E.A.R, Doom 3, and Star Wars: Republic Commando; My favorite game of all time though is Metroid Prime 2. My favorite genres are FPS, shmups, and Metroidvania. My dream is to be an animator and create my own cartoon. I wish I could say that I draw, but I really can't draw for crap at the moment and I haven't had the motivation to try.

Hello Harpuia and welcome to the forums!  You will find that there quite a few nice people around here, so I am sure you will have little trouble making some friends while you are here.

 

Since some of your interest are in games, music and animation, the Media Discussion section within Everfree Forest may be a good place to start, as there are a wide variety of topics for just about every facet of entertainment and I am sure at least a few of them may peak your interest.  On top of that, there are loads of sections and threads around here with no shortage of discussions, so feel free to jump right in if you see anything of interest; it is one of the best ways to meet other members and start connecting.

 

If you ever do decide to post some of your artwork, there is also Octavia's Hall where you can not only share your work with other members, but also receive some helpful advice and critique to help you grow as an artist.  As someone who has the same dream as yourself to become an animator, though it is important to improve one's drawing skills, it is equally as important (if not more so) to have fun and simply enjoy the process.  All you have to do is take that first step and I am sure quite a few here would be more than willing to help you along with that journey.
