Today I got the "Book in a Month" book about NaNoWriMo from the library.  I haven't actually written anything yet, but maybe this will inspire me.

Well now I've added some Ennio Morricone music to my library to listen to while I write, so it's bound to inspire greatness. I'll you hwat though, that first page and a half is hot fire.

The no so biggest secret about writing is that it is very habit dependent. Part of the reason NaNoWriMo exists is to 'train' writers to write a set number per day so that eventually they fall into a grove and it becomes second nature. They find their voice. Basically, it teaches discipline. For me, my time is really early in the AM. Sleep and I will may lose touch this month, and my words may sound like the ramblings of a crazy man toward the end of the month, but it will be second nature at about Day 5. 

 

Just keep trying to plug away. You'll get there.

It started to work for me. 1095 today. Not great, but not terrible. Helps to have two characters banter between each other.

Well I'm at 1800 words. But hey, it's better than the 0 words I've been stuck at for the past year. That's an infinite improvement. I'll take it

I'm at 6845 as of yesterday. Today's supposedly the day where I get to double my efforts and double my word count, but I have no idea if I will be able to do that. O.o
