About Season 6: Extreme minority here

You remember the first topic I started? I did it with the intention of calling out everyone who has been hating S6 since its inception. I've had my thoughts about the season but after seeing everyone's responses, I have been beaten bloody left and right by all these criticisms. I already have cardiac pains from seeing all this, NO JOKING. I can't stand it anymore. This pain isn't gone but I want to be specific in everything regarding my perspective to it. I want these thoughts to be made clear to everyone and I want to clarify things so that there is no obscurity or ambiguity.

I'll be very specific about this. I may say some very questionable things, but I have to say them because I have nothing but fury and resentment towards those who don't enjoy the show anymore and I don't care whatever the reasons are.

I enjoyed the Crystalling. Particularly they introduced Sunburst and that SG is now TS's student. I for one welcome Flurry Heart as part of the family. On my part, I come from a culture where family is priority over many things and that we accept the members wholeheartedly, regardless of the flaws and other ridiculous aspects that come with it. To those of you who say she should die, she's overpowered and that you hate children and infants: maybe you should die for it. I won't hesitate to claw your throats out if it means defending my kin.

I liked GIft of the Maud Pie, with PP's crazy antics, Maud's sisterly deeds and Rarity's business expansion.

On Your Marks: It's extremely wonderful to see the beloved CMC (if everyone else does call them beloved, which I doubt, because they find the trio a nuisance) with their long awaited cutie marks as well as the conflict. I also like the part where AB is trying to aid Tender Taps.

Gauntlet of Fire: Spike's journey here was thrilling and his new friend Ember was a very nice addition.

No 2nd Prances: I wish you would shut up about TS being OOC and overprotective over SG. She had to watch over Starlight because Trixie's past behavior has been undesirable and of course there was the possibly of SG going along that malicious path again.

Newbie Dash: This is the last straw for me, not mainly about the episode. The criticisms about hazing, bullying and insults from the team have really pushed me off the deep end and made me hate every last fan. RD is finally a WB and this is what I see? The "hazing" in the episode leading to death and rape? That is one of the stupidest, most ill conceived interpretations i ever heard. Even if that were true in real life, they would have at least shown some implications of in the episode, but there were none. So, there!

Cringe,Cringe,Cringe,Cringe,Cringe,Cringe,Cringe,Cringe,Cringe,Cringe,Cringe,Cringe,Cringe,Cringe,

Do you have any idea of how many times I wanted to intake Hg just from hearing that word about the episode? Why can you not be happy that RD is finally achieving her dream? Huh? Of course you are going to experience some teasing in anything, especially in sports and the army. Those who can't tell the difference between insults and teasing must be very close minded and lacking skills to distinguish.

Hearth's Warming Tale: Enchanting story. Love the holiday theme. I hate it when you say it's just another retelling of the Dickens story and asking why it aired during the summer.

Saddle Row Review: Loved it! With all the antics and chronological shifts, I would watch this again.

AJ's Day Off: Very and strangely feeling like S1 all over again, which I truly adored when I first started watching the show (S1). It seems at this point everyone's decided to forget why MLP was such a big thing before and abandoned all those emotions that they had at the start.

I haven't watched any more because of two reasons:
1) I was really busy with uni work.
2) I want to watch the rest of S6 but even after I watch them, everyone else is going to end up hating the episode because of this part or character or whatever aspect. Then they start blaming the writers and as well as the entire freaking company.

I am going to be attacked and threatened if I say I enjoy the other episodes and everyone else will hunt me down and have my head on a stick because I decided to enjoy the show on my own and not see it from others' views. The fans will only say I'm wrong and say that my views on the episodes and everything else are just delusions and that I'm just fooling myself into thinking that it's good when it's objectively horrid. This goes for all the episodes I mentioned. I enjoyed them overall and can say they are good but anyone can just spit in my face and say that I'm demented for saying so when it's actually, factually a very stupid episode.

Call me extreme for wishing death upon the others, but I don't give a hoof about that. I have nothing but resentment and hate in my heart for everyone who says that this show is going to hell and that the movie is the final nail in the coffin. When I do get back to watching, maybe I will be the one who gets the last laugh and you can all go home crying about how there was much enjoyment but it was deliberately ignored.

I'm telling you I can't take it anymore.

Yeah, I enjoy all episodes, sure some might have more flaws then others but I don't hate or dislike any episodes. I too get kinda sick of all the negativity recently.

I really don't think the majority hates this season.  Even back when I still had an account on Tumblr, there was overwhelming support for this season.  Sure, MLP is no Steven Universe or Gravity Falls when it comes to the writing, but if you just learn to appreciate it for what it is, I don't see why people would have such strong feelings of hatred over this season.

I don't really think the majority of the fandom hates this season or any season. Sure, being on a forum or on the internet for long enough might make you think like that, but what you're really getting is a very loud vocal minority. I've been to brony conventions and people there still love the show. If you look at the episode polls on this site, you'll notice that there's a lot more votes for liking an episode than hating an episode, even to the more less than stellar received episodes.

You're listening too much to the vocal minority, which probably isn't a good idea. They take over discussion threads with poor critiques on episodes and just overall miss the point of episodes.

Best way to solve this is to not even bother with these posts.

Relax, there's no need for you being this upset.

A thing that you should keep in mind is that everyone has different taste.  While you (and the majority of this fandom) likes season six some people (including me) don't. It's nothing to get upset over. It's just a couple of opinions some people have.

Also while your opinion should be respected, so should mine and everyone else's. Keep that in mind next time you write a blog or create a topic about how people who don't share your opinion on a  kids show.

I think you should stop taking what other people say so seriously. People are going to make criticisms against the show, good or bad, and if you can't accept that, I don't know what else to tell you. You should learn to ignore other people if they make criticisms against the show, and not let them get to you.

And furthermore, you should give a hoot about wishing death on other people, it's not okay, and it makes you no better, if not worse than the people you're talking about.

I didn't read your whole thing, but I think I read enough to respond.

There are people in the fandom who put the show - a series originally intended for and still more or less geared towards children - under a magnifying glass; those people tend to see flaws more than they see anything else.  And let's face it: Dumping on a source of entertainment probably garners more attention than judging it more evenly.  I bet that the harshest critics couldn't possibly do better with the show were they at the helm.  They aren't in a position to change the show, but they ARE in a position to come down on anything that doesn't fit THEIR idea of what the show's supposed to be or do.

Which is ridiculous, because the show wasn't - and still isn't - intended for "Bronies"; at least not SOLELY for Bronies.  Some people aren't happy unless they're text-walling about an episode's flaws or condemning the behavior of this or that Mane Six or what have you.  Try not to let their misery make YOU miserable.
