I'm writing a pissed of blog, it will change the show drastically. No offense, but it's stupid to just say that "Oh, she'll be able to fly that's all."

Its like turning someone who was white into black. Take one of your favorite shows and turn the main character into black/white.

Its the same thing. It changes the character that you liked no matter how you put it.

I don't want to see Twilight turn into some Alicorn because for me it ruins the image of her.

I cannot write it in stone because i haven't seen it yet, but i'm not liking the idea of it.

She's not going to stay an Alicorn. She's going to be an Alicorn for this episode, and this episode only. Mark my words. Hasbro wouldn't be stupid enough to completely change the show like that. Especially in only the third season.

Character "transformations" occur all the time in cartoons. They rarely last for more than one episode.

Imma be honest, I'm less concerned about Twilight than what it means for the show as a whole. Don't get me wrong, I think that she's a great character, but I'd be less concerned with changes to her than say...Rainbow Dash. Just my opinion.

I'm concerned this will steal the thunder from the rest of the Mane 6 and the show will focus on Twi. Or that the focus will go primarily to Canterlot, and that the main dynamic will no longer be slice-of-life stories but wil now be all large epics.

I'm not running around like a chicken with my head cut off, but I don't like it. Still think it's temporary.

Eh, i'll admit that I wasn't very happy when I found out. It just seems like a horrible idea. Especially if it's permanent.

It's not really the fact that Twi will be an Alicorn that bothers me the most about this. What bothers me the most is this whole thing feels like a Hasbro tactic to sell new toys -_- "Oh hey guys, we need you to make Twilight an Alicorn so we can have a new toy line" And yeah, they are a toy company. Making money is their goal, I get that. But I don't like the idea of Hasbro forcing crazy ideas like that.

However, the writers know what they are doing. They have made a great show so far. I have faith that they will find a way to pull this off....somehow.

I think i'll wait until I see the episode before I flip out about this.

Meh, this is just a rumor, I don't think it's gonna happen. It might,but I care less.
