Getting a little personal...profound moments.

This is just something I thought I would share since I've never really told anyone this and I didn't know where else to write about it.

There are moments in life that are so profound (or emotional) that they make you want to cry because you're overcome with emotion. For some of us it's the death of someone, or it could be as simple as a leaf gently tumbling across the pavement on a quiet street on a still morning. I could write a whole post about profound moments, and maybe I will.

For me, there's one thing that will consistently get to me. Whenever I see someone who I can tell has been through an extreme amount of pain in their life, whether it's family trouble or teasing because they're different for some reason. When I can tell someone has been judged unfairly based on what people see on the outside and not their personality. When I see these people smile with genuine happiness I become overwhelmed. I tear up because they don't deserve that pain they've felt or the judgement that's been put on them.

In these moments I would do anything I could, if I got the chance, to make sure they had a reason to smile like that every day, to make them realize that they're beautiful and perfect.

This is beautiful :3

I know I've faced hard times in my life, and while its personal to say this, Im not going to hide it, a few years ago I went through a VERY rough patch, suicide was on my mind but my best friend a person I call brother with MUCH love, helped me through it. I owe him alot ^^

I can agree with this, but my 'emotional' moments is when i see a soldier or sailor come home from deployment :)

Recently, just last year I was so overwhelmed with my life and in so much pain over losing something that I got close to considering suicide. I had friends go to my parents about it but that almost made it worse because they didn't trust me. I was saved by a boy that will never realize it. I dated him and things didn't work out but it helped me realize that life will always go on and even at our darkest moments it's important to realize that things will always get better.

many of the people the friends (legit to say that) I´ve met here have had very hard times, nearly everybody has this tragic part of his history, no matter he keeps it inside or lets others know about it (what is a good step, to me).

And probably that is the best part of this fandom (this forum especially), you can take this weight from yourself, and you can be sure that you won´t be looked down, given names, ignored but respected, understood (at least we try) and most important listened to for doing that (give help if you are about to give up)...

apart from the closest circle of ones family (and sometimes not even there) this is very hard to find nowadays.

to speak in memes (eww, memes): faith in humanity restored

As a person who has gone through some tough times and has had thought of suicide I can agree with this. I get emotional when i hear some of the horrible things people are or have gone through on these forums and in real-life. I really regret not trying to help some of my fellow schoolmates who i know where bullied everyday.

Now i always try to cheer people up even though i really don't hear or see anybody around me(real life) who really seems like they could use a friend i try to be helpful on here and always let people know to PM if they really feel down, though i admit sometimes i don't feel like i do enough.

It's a good thing you try to make people smile, When you hear someone who's went through trouble or is being judged it's always good to let them know they  have somebody to talk to, To all the people on hear that try to help, Keep being the amazing people you are.
