I flooded my house -_-

I'm soo fricking stupid *sigh*

 

this morning the water supply was cut off in my neighborhood due to some "manintenance" work nearby dry.png

 

I opened the kitchen and bathroom sinks' lids to hear when the water comes back again, the pipes usually make a very strong noise when the water is coming back, so that would be the warning I needed to know.

I was in the kitchen's table with my laptop all distracted when I heard the kitchen sink making that noise at 12:00am or so, I was like "yay! water's back"

 

...

 

I kept minding my own business but I forgot to close the lid in the bathroom! not after 1 hour and 30 something minutes, I decided to get up, when I see this huge puddle of water all over the living room ohmy.png

 

first reaction: "is that water?"

second reaction: "ewwww toilet water (I was barefoot) MUST not stand in there ew ew ew ew"

third reaction: "oh shit! the lid!"

fourth reaction: "my mom is going to FUCKING KILL ME c:"

 

when I got to the bathroom, the water was spilling out of the sink, heck, the little trash can that was under the sink was spilling water too (the can was completely empty, mind you) ... I was like shit! this is the end of me sad.png

 

long story short, I took the carpet out because it was soaking wet, nothing important got wet, thanks Celestia, just a white box and the furniture's legs, which is not important. I broomed the floor and mopped it, I'm not an expert in cleaning so I just hope the floor doesn't looks like an iced skating park sad.png

 

if you don't see me posting anymore is because I got murdered.

Ugh, reminds me that my house has crappy plumbing, every winter the toliet overflows because the sewers freeze. >_<

I broke the shower head today....and the faucet in the bathroom's sink. Pipe underneath the sink also busted, and the bathroom got flooded today...

 

The last one wasn't my fault at least. The last time a plumber came over he screwed up the pipes >_>

This reminds me of the time I made the toilet overflow once, I started piling bath towels all around it.  Thank Celestia my parents didn't find out, I think the person before me must have clogged it.
