   Trilby smiles and pulls Swift into a hug. "Magic, my dear friend~! Unicorn magic!" Trilby explains, lifting his hat to show off his horn. When he pulls away from the hug, Swift soon finds that he now has a corndog in his hooves.

   Trilby nods and takes the items. "Thank you so much, Evie." Turning the EMF reader on and making sure it works, he adjusts his hat. "All right, let's do this! LEEEEEEEEROY JODHPURS!" Trilby says and runs forwards into the unknown, so eager to begin that he completely missed the part about not splitting up.

   Trilby lines up, ready for their first night mission. Though he does use some cartoon physics to quickly change from his current hat to a safari style pith helmet.
   Taking the headband, Trilby straps it to his helmet. A tight, but perfect fit. "Ooh~ I volunteer to use either the EMF meter or the EMP recorder. Whatever scouting around you need me to do, I'm ready."

   Trilby smirks and raises his glass to Rarity, giving her cheers for her work, then turns back to his friends. "Well I'm no talking dog, and I don't need any snacks named after me, but I'm willing to be the bait that lures out the spirit. Whatever you need me to do, just let me know."

   Seeing how Rarity all ready has some of Trilby's hats makes his heart swell. He was NOT expecting that! "Well, since we're being honest... I've had a few ideas for a collaboration line between the two of us. My hat designs with some of your exclusive materials. Your dresses with some of my exclusive accessories. I am sure we could hammer out the details."

   Trilby listens to the situation. "Hmm... I don't have a lot of experience dealing with little foals, let alone spirits of little foals. Perhaps with enough time, I could build a little puppet theater. Wait, would that even work on a spirit?" Trilby thinks it over as he graciously eats. "Oh my, this meal is just as fabulous as the hooves that prepared it. Do I taste a hint of truffle?"

   Trilby follows and takes a seat. He nods for now, listening carefully. He still expects this to just be a formal, paranormal investigation. He doesn't expect anything personal. That is, until Rarity shows interest in him. "Oh, you actually know about my business? And you want to sell some of my hats in your boutique? Well, uh... Yes! I'd be honored! You really are shaping up to be the generous pony that I've heard so much about. There are so many uptight designers who could learn a thing or two from you." Trilby happily follows Rarity.

   Trilby makes sure his nice hat is polished and looking it's absolute best. He even gives his ascot one last adjustment. With Evelyn leading the way, Trilby hops out of the van. "Rarity! Coco Pommel! I've come to bargain. ...I mean, help." Trilby says, pointing dramatically before relaxing. He bows before the two mares. Whatever happens next is up to them.

   "Ooh. I can haz maerfren." Trilby says, cheeky. He grabs a quick breakfast and then collects his things. It wouldn't be long before their adventure beings.
   "Now this is the part of the journey I was waiting for! Just us, the friends, roughing it into adventure." Trilby says before getting settled in the van. He makes sure his belongings don't take up too much room and there is still a path so that everypony can move around freely in the van. "Let's just hope it's not one of those situations where the easy job becomes the hardest. Though I guess by that logic, the hardest would become the easiest, so it would all balance itself out?"

   One of Trilby's legs kicks when he sleeps, but he does snuggle up close to Caramel in his sleep, unconsciously enjoying the warmth and companionship. When he finally wakes up in the morning, he sees who has visited him in the night, and is practically beside himself with confusion and shock. "...Mother warned me about days like this. I'm officially switching colognes." Doing the best he can, Trilby get up without waking Caramel. He takes time to wash up, get rid of the snore strip on his snoot, and get dressed again. "Another day, another chance for adventure."

   Trilby smirks. "Well there you have it. Can't beat a solid argument like that." Trilby says, then turns to Caramel. He takes her hoof in his own. "Goodnight, Caramel. Maybe some other time, you can join us. Though I really do hope that some day, you'll bless me by visiting my shop. I'd love to see you there. For now, pleasant dreams, my dear." Trilby kisses her hoof before taking her number and heading out.
   Trilby goes to the bathroom to change into his pajama shirt. No hats to bed. He puts a snore strip on his snout, brushes his teeth, and puts moisturizing cream on his cheeks. "A complexion this nice doesn't take care of itself." Once he trots back to Evelyn's room, he pulls out his sleeping back and pillow, and gets inside it. "Do you think ghosts sleep?" Trilby asks. One last thought before slumberland.

    "Yes! We should all go shopping at my shop. Special discounts all around." Trilby agrees and hugs Caramel. "This is so awesome~ To think, as a young colt, I use to be afraid of bugs. But I am finally getting over those fears, I think." Trilby explains. And it is true, he didn't hesitate to hug Caramel and seems to enjoy it.
    He then hears Evelyn from the doorway. "Okay, thank you for the update!" Trilby says with a wave. "Hmm... Now to figure out where to sleep. The van or the living room might not be super comfortable, but it might be strange for me to sleep in the same room as one of the mares... Then again, I don't want to appear antisocial either. I agreed to this trip so we could all bond as friends." This is a real headscratcher.

   It started on a early Fall evening in Canterlot, where the young, enigmatic Pegasus mare known as Evelyn Noir would be at the small indipendant cafe known as The Hole in the Wall Cafe, waiting for her three friends to arrive, as they were going to discuss their plans for the year, and she was pretty excited as not only had her band gotten a few gigs here and there, but she came across a few places around Equestria to explore. She would sit at her table, using her wing to hold her mug of hot chocolate and sip on it while waiting.

   Trilby had trekked through the forest of Elban for days. It was not really clear how long he had walked amongst this forest but it was peaceful and calm. The birds chirped. There was a fairly large stream flowing directly through the forest and he was wise to walk alongside its banks. For many hours all the sounds he heard were of the peaceful wildlife that beamed under the warm sun. However he could soon see there were a pair of large hills on either side of the stream up ahead. The hills extended on as far as the eye can see and seemed to curve at the edge of the horizon. They were clearly out of place here. Put here intentionally.
   
   Not to mention, the hills had various pine trees on them that had clearly indicated that they were here for a very long time. Likely centuries. Upon passing over these hills with little issue he had seen an odd shaped range of mountains. Looking about either side the large hills circled around the entire mountain range. Ahead he could see smaller hill like shapes in similar arrangements. There were five rings if you will, with the sixth outer one being by far the tallest. In between each of the rings were plain fields with some blooming wildflowers.
   
   Most importantly was what he saw further beyond that. The stream flowed past the ringed hills towards the mountains. The Mountains themselves were quite odd as well with red tinted snow capping the tops of them. The river itself flowed through a wide split between both of the mountains. The split itself looked artificial. As Trilby went over each of the rings and was about a mile away from the entrance to the interior part that was concealed by the mountains he would notice clear signs of civilization.
   
   The split itself had large chunks of the mountains carved in angled fashion. It was polished completely smooth. Between the split there were various small stone bridges with carved lookout points. There were a few buildings by the split as well. Everything about this screamed that it was a well guarded point. He didn't see any guards yet because he was too far away to see them. Now that he was closer, he could spot other ruins of stone structures scattered about the place. Covered over by moss. He could also see small craters about the whole landscape on the interior as well. All of this was astonishing, considering he hadn't seen it before.

   The Great Quest (1x1 RP between Courageous Thunder Dash and Samurai Equine)

   It was just another day in Ponyville. Addie was out early, checking the library to see if a new Daring Do book had come out. She had gotten into the series due to some friends. When she arrived at the adventure section, she noticed that was no new Daring Do book. "Drats! Daring Do must be going on an extra long adventure if it's taking this long..." She said to herself. She then realized that no storytellers from the region where Somnambula was from hadn't come to Ponyville in ages. She therefore had to find out. This was it. She decided to go on a quest to find out what happened to Daring Do. But there was one problem: she wanted to go with someone. She asked around, but everyone was either busy, or they just didn't want to. Addie sadly went and sat on a bench with her head down. To pass the time, she gathered some magic energy and made a ball of energy appear in her hooves. She held it and rolled it around gently, then made it transform into boomerang. She threw the boomerang, which came back to her. She then transformed the boomerang back into a ball of energy. She decided to sprawl out on the bench laying on her back cutely, continuing to play around with the ball of energy.
